Chapter 7 - History Part one.

The plane ride was awful. No offense to the cabin crew, but it was horrible and the fact of the matter was, it isn't even their fault. There was turbulence, so much of it that I can safely say even without the engine, the plane would fly. It would probably not reach its given destination but you get the point.

If I haven't mentioned it before, I am an archeologist, yes it is Dr. Atlas Logia. My main project was pretty secretive, so I couldn't speak about it at home. It was kind of frustrating knowing the facts of such an awesome project and not being able to speak with anyone or even my family for that matter. I hope they don't think I am a loser. That would be depressing.

Anyway, I reached the excavation site in the middle of the Sahara desert. To be honest, I have no clue where we are. As far as the eye can see there is sand and that's with binoculars. So my project was pretty amazing, at least to me. It is, in brief, 'The lost city of Atlantis'.

One of the most controversial pieces of information. Most people in the scientific community believe the lost city does not exist and then, some fanatics believe Atlantis was a part of our history and does indeed exists in plain sight behind a barrier, that makes it look like it is sitting in plain sight and then there is a person like me, a person who does not believe in fairytales and yet, picked for this task. It was as if fate chose me.

A little while back...

I was working in a Government branch of India helping them with a lost excavation site. They believed that they found a long, lost Mayan civilization on the river bed of River Indus. There is a theory that the Mayans were the most technologically advanced race, even compared to today's standards. According to this theory, they had ships the size of a titanic. This explains why there are civilizations of the Mayas from India and as far as Mexico. That is the gist of it.

I believe it to some extent but then again it is just a theory. I was the head Archeologist and I had five other Archeologists there. So we started work in about September when the weather was cool, not frosty or warm, the perfect weather.

We were staying in this old log house which gave such good vibes. It felt like home. It was owned by the Indian government, it was used as storage when India and Pakistan were at war for the state of Kashmir. As soon as we got there we had to clean it up and set up our equipment. That took about three days, while cleaning we even found an underground bunker. There was a lot of stuff from the conflict. Photos, chains mainly dog tags, some old clothes, and a number of miscellaneous boxes. According to me, they were all memories, stories from the distant past. After cleaning up and setting up all our equipment, we got all our personal belongings in our rooms and by that time we had backup. A group of people was sent to help us, this was the first time I had been in charge of an excavation.
