Chapter 7 - Adventurer Points System

Within the ranks was a points system that tracked their rank among those of their bracket, a number between 1-1000. As adventurers complete quests, their points increase, allowing them to take more lucrative commissions within their rank. The higher their points, the more lucrative the commissions they are eligible to undertake.

This of course went both ways; if an adventurer fails a commission, they would lose points. Commissions themselves were rated by the same points system, from 1-1000. Adventurers were eligible to take commissions that were 200 points greater or lesser than the adventurer's point rating. That is, until now.

To Guild Master Dustin Coleman, Triparte Guilds Northern Sector Administration, Guild Master Travis Vorn, Evaidas Guild Branch, sends greetings.

I trust that this letter is received well by you, and that you have had a well-deserved break over the final month of the previous cycle. As we enter a new cycle, I have reviewed the Adventurer Points System which I had implemented, specifically regarding reasonable brackets for which an adventurer may accept a commission.

Whereas the previous few cycles have seen significant increases in the number of commissions across all ranges of commissions pay brackets,

And whereas the previous few cycles have seen significant increases in membership of adventurers across all ranges of ranks and points,

And whereas the number of guild commissions is projected to continue increasing over the coming cycle as well as the next,

And whereas the number of adventurer memberships within the guild is projected to continue increasing over the coming cycle as well as the next,

It is the decision of the Triparte Guilds Executive Guild Administrator that adventurer commission acceptance brackets be decreased from a range of 200 points difference to 150 points difference, until such a time as annual commissions acceptance rates or adventurer membership rates decrease to 20% below projected levels, and the Triparte Guilds Executive Guild Administrator believes that the commissions acceptance bracket is excessively restricting.

Should you find that this review be disagreeable,

or) that you face external circumstances of which you believe I have not taken into account,

or) that you wish to request an adjustment to this bracket,

or) that you wish to discuss the review to clarify details,

Please reply to me through the Guild Masters' Express Delivery system as soon as possible with a prospective date and time for which we may meet.

With regards, and with best wishes for the new cycle,

Travis Vorn
