SUZY'S POV
"Liam?? Liam??!" Tarantang tawag ko na rito pagkalapit ko sa kung saan ito natumba.
Seeing the water under those thick snows kung saan ito mismo natumba, I couldn't help but let out a curse now in alarm. Dahil sa dami ng snows na nakatambak sa bahaging 'to, hindi mo talaga mamamalayang may pond pala rito and it was stupid of me not to notice that!
I just hope na walang masamang nangyari rito dahil pag nagkataon, malilintikan talaga ako nito.
Marami ng taong nakiusyoso ngayon rito but I just ignored them and just focused on Liam.
"Liam?? Nasaan ka na?? Lumabas ka na diyan please..." I called out with worries.
"Miss? Is he your man?"
I scowled when a brunette woman suddenly asked that beside me.
A man my foot!
"No. He's a friend and I should get him out of this darn water now."
"Well, this is just a shallow pond so you don't really have to worry about him."
That made me glared at her when she reassured me that. Wala man lang bakas na pag-aalala ang mukha nito ngayon.
So maybe she's a local here and know this place better than I do.
Tumango na lamang ako rito and then I was about to call out his name pero bago ko paman magawa 'yon, bigla nalang itong gumuho mula sa tubig. Freaking the hell out of me.
"Woohooohoo... I-It's so c-cold! I-It's so c-cold!!" Nauutal pang sambit nito sa sarili while vigorously rubbing his arms to probably ease the cold he felt.
"Liam!!"
When he heard me called out his name, his glare instantly focused on me habang mahigpit ng yakap-yakap nito ang nanginginig na sarili. Snows were all over him while water dripping from him.
"I-I s-swear---"nauutal ng saad nito. He tightly pursed his lips, siguro dahil sa labis na panginginig ng bibig nito ngayon before he continued without cutting his glare on me.
"I-I swear YOU'LL GONNA REGRET THIS WOMAN!!!"
When he growled that out with so much intensity, napapalunok nalang ako ng laway as I was threatened by his promising voice.
Oh no.
"L-Liam.."
I stepped back nang nagsimula na itong umahon mula sa tubig, alarmed with what he was going to do to me. Dahil tiyak gaganti ito.
Nang makaahon ito, pasalampak na agad itong umupo sa gilid ng skating trail while he was gasping for breaths.
"I s-swear m-makakatikim ka sa'kin mamaya.." nauutal na sambit uli nito bago pinagpagan ang sarili while his jaw kept twitching right now. He kept cursing while he do that while I just stood there, cautious with my impending doom from him.
Feeling so guilty with what happened.

LIAM'S POV
With bared teeth, pinilit ko ng umahon sa tubig and when I did, pasalampak na'kong umupo sa gilid ng pesteng pond na'yon. Kahit na ang tindi pa ng panginginig ng buo kong katawan ngayon dahil sa malaimpyernong lamig ng tubig na nabagsakan ko.
That woman!!
She better be prepared for what was coming to her way now dahil hindi matatapos ang gabing 'to nang hindi man lang ako nakakaganti rito!
I know a few people were gawking at me now, and they could be probably laughing at my expense.
Cursing them out in my head, pinagpagan ko na agad ang sarili ko kahit na wala rin yong silbi as my clothes were now dripping with iced waters.
And when I think my whole body was now free of snows, pinilit ko ng makatayo ng maayos ngayon and find balance of my own skates.
And holy shit of all shits!!
I think it was so impossible for me to glide back to my car now with my knees kept trembling right now.
And I felt like my whole body was being paralyzed. Feeling like a thousand of cold needles were pricking into my nerves habang wala namang tigil sa kakautal ng bibig at kamay ko ngayon.
Oh holy hell!!! What an impessive night for me!!!
Trying to Ignore the hellish sensation, hinay-hinay na'kong lumingon sa gilid ko na parang robot and my glare thinned in line when I was greeted with the guilty woman just a few meters from me.
"Y-You better come.."I gritted my teeth nang parang nanigas na naman ang panga ko.
Goddamnit!
Swallowing hard, pinilit ko ng magsalit ulit.
"Y-You better come and get me here, Suzy."
Napapamura na lamang ako rito when she quickly shook her head in refusals.
This woman!
"H-Help me now, woman before I'd froze here!!" I demanded with bared teeth while glaring at her way.
At mukhang epektibo naman 'yon dahil lumapit naman ito though alarm was glinting in her eyes.
"Just promise you won't do anything, okay?"
A disbelief scoff instantly escaped from me when she tried to negotiate that.
"Just come here now, woman dahil baka ano pang gawin ko sa'yo ngayon kapag hindi mo pa'ko ihahatid sa sasakyan ngayon! You don't know how cold that bloody pond was so get your fluffy ass right here!"
"F-Fine! I'm coming!! I'm coming!!"
She snapped before she hastily glided to my way but not without muttering a few curses.
"What?? Anong gusto mong gawin ko ngayon?" Agad na asik nito pagkalapit sa'kin, a cautious look was in her eyes.
And I don't have to know kung bakit parang takot ito ngayon dahil alam naman nitong lintik talaga 'to sa'kin. And she'll sufder in my bare hands right now.
"Akayin mo ko and glide us back to our car. Just make sure to hold me tight and never dare to pull another act on me dahil kung bibitawan mo na naman uli ako, humanda ka na sa'kin pagkatapos dahil hinding-hindi kita titigilan. Is that clear, woman?"
I groaned in disapproval when she even dared to give me a defiant glare. Pero hindi naman ito nagreklamo and just held the drenched sleeves of my coat.
"What?? Are you going to get me into another accident dahil parang wala ka yatang balak na hawakan ako ng maigi ngayon eh! Pa'no mo'ko dadalhin ng maayos doon kung tela lang ng damit ko ang hahawakan mo??"
This time, her glare at me narrowed into thin slits saka nagmamaktol ng hinawakan ang braso ko.
"What? Are you certain na braso ko lang talaga ang hahawakan mo? Alam mo bang hindi ko na halos maikilos ang buo kong katawan ngayon and you're even planning to get me through the car by just holding my forearm??"
"Oo na! Oo na! Hahawakan na kita ng mabuti so just shut that goddamn mouth now!"
Gusto ko pa sanang bulyawan ito dahil sa pagsagot-sagot nito but I stopped myself when I felt her other arm snaked around my waist and then placed my arm around her shoulder, paying no heed of my drenched self.
"Oh ano? Okay na ba'to?? Basa na rin ako kaya sana naman okay na'tong ginagawa ko sa'yo ano?"
I quickly bit the inside of my cheeks nang muntikan na'kong mapangiti rito. Liking the feeling of her being so closed to me now.
Oh.. kung alam niya lang.. Marahan ko ng hinila ito palapit pa lalo sa'kin gamit ang kamay ko na nakaakbay sa kanya.
Then I quickly cleared my throat before I answered him with my straight face.
"Yes. This is just fine. You can start now." I uttered, trying to appear unaffected.
Agad naman itong tumalima and then began to glide us through the ice trail now while firmly hugging me on my side. And I shivered terribly when a thin cold air overwhelmed my already frozen nerves.
Oh shit! I must find a clothing store right away para mawala na ang ginaw na'to.

SUZY'S POV
"What? Anong gusto mong gawin ko ngayon?" Yamot ko ng tanong rito pagkarating namin sa tabi ng sasakyan nito while still holding him with me.
Basang-basa na rin ang tagiliran ko ngayon dahil dito na siyang ikinainis ko pa lalo dahil nagsisimula na rin akong ginawin ngayon.
"We must go find some clothing store around here. I'm freezing now and so are you. Go open the car door for me now and drive the car."
"What??"
Agad namang tumalim ang tingin nito sa'kin when I exclaimed that in surprise.
Of course, how could I not be surprised kung hindi naman ako marunong magmaneho.
"Sabi ko imaneho mo ang sasakyan, Suzy and---"
"Pero hindi ko alam kung paano magmaneho ng sasakyan!"
Napatanga nalang ito sa'kin pagkasigaw ko dun. As if he was too shock to hear me na hindi ako marunong magmaneho.
"Hindi ako marunong, Liam kung hindi mo 'ko narinig." Ulit ko nalang rito to make sure na marinig nito.
Napakurap-kurap naman agad ito na para bang ngayon pa lang nag-sink in sa kanya ang sinabi ko.
"You don't know how to drive then who would bloody drive for us now?"
"Siyempre ikaw. Wala namang ibang marunong rito."
"What? Eh ni halos hindi na nga ako makakilos ng maayos dahil parang naninigas na 'tong buong katawan ko ngayon.."
And I was so guilty of it.
Gusto ko sanang idagdag 'yon pero tiyak sisisihin niya lang ako lalo kapag sasabihin ko pa 'yon kaya naman hindi na.
"Well, I can just buy you a dry clothes now at dito ka nalang maghintay."
He groaned when I suggested that. Bakas sa mukha nito na nagdadalawang-isip ito sa gusto kong mangyari but knowing that he have no other choice kundi payagan ako, napapabuntong-hininga na lamang ito.
"Fine. I'll just wait inside the car at siguraduhin mo lang na mabilis ka lang dahil hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan ko nalang makakaya ang lamig ngayon."
Tumango na'ko rito sabay lahad ng kamay ko rito. Kunot-noong sinipat naman niya ang kamay kong 'yon.
"What's that for?"
"Your money. You know I can't afford to buy you a new clothes here." I stated in a matter-of-factly tone.
For a while, he just gave me look pero maya-maya lang, agad naman itong tumango habang napapabuntong-hininga.
"Sa bulsa ko. Hugutin mo ang wallet ko and take my card from it."
I frowned at that.
"Sa bulsa mo? Hindi ba pwedeng ikaw nalang ang humugot nun?"
"Oh? So ako pa talaga ang gagawa nun ngayon when I can't even barely move my limbs now."
Di ko mapigilang mapatiim nalang ng bagang dahil dun as I glared at him. Kung hindi ko lang talaga 'to kasalanan, iiwanan ko na sana 'tong gagong ito na mangisay sa lamig dito!
"Fine! Ako na pong kukuha, manong!"
He growled at that in objection pero bago paman nito maibuka ang malaking bibig nito, agad ko ng hinila ang bulsa ng coat nito.
"Wala diyan. Nasa ilalim na bulsa."
With a scowl, inis ko ng hinugot 'yon sa ilalim ng coat nito and then handed it to his way.
"Take the black card at bilhin mo ang mga kailangan ko. Just make sure you'd be here before I froze to death here."
"Opo, opo. Magmadali ako para sainyo po." Sarkastikong tugon ko na rito while I kept nodding my head na siyang ikinadilim naman ng mukha nito.
"You better be dahil talagang mumultuhin kita habang buhay pag hindi. Tingnan ko lang kung hindi ka na naman mag-iiyak sa panaginip mo."
At the mention of crying, 'di ko na naman maiwasang maalala ang sinabi nito noong isang araw.
That I was crying while I was asleep.
Of course, my past began to visit me in my dreams again so it was just normal. Ilang taon rin naman ako pinahihirapan noon with it kept appearing in ny mind.
Nang maalala ko na naman 'yon, agad ko na 'yong iwinaksi sa isipan ko saka kumuha na ng card sa wallet nito and then quickly slid it back to his coat.
"I'll go now. Madali lang ako." Paalam ko na rito saka tumakbo na'ko palayo rito.
Hindi ko alam kung saan ako makakahanap rito ng bibilhan ngayon but I have to be hurry bago pa man manigas ang gagong 'yon sa ginaw. I have no time to think about my past again. Dahil kahit kailan, they didn't deserve to be remembered.
"You're already eighteen, Suzy and you're in your legal age now to marry."
When those words echoed through my head again as if I just heard it just yesterday, I quickly shrugged those thoughts off.
They were just some selfish people na walang ibang inisip kundi ang mapabuti ang buhay nila while I suffer myself in vain.
