SUZY'S POV
"Are you done?"
"Yeah. Im done kaso nga lang..."
I frowned at him when he trailed off midsentence.
"Kaya nga lang ano?" kunot-noong tanong ko rito with my folded arms.
"Isang room nalang 'yong available nila ngayon. I've already checked us in at room 15 by the way."
"What???!"
He grimaced and poked out his ear when I shouted that in a rather loud voice. Dahilan para magsitinginan sa gawi namin ang ibang guest especially the attendant at the check-in counter.
"Oh my God. Do you really have to react this way, Suzy?"
"Well, sino ba naman ang hindi mabibigla sa balitang 'yon kung isang room nalang 'yong available rito?? Should I be happy with it then?" I spat with bared teeth.
"Well, wala tayong magagawa diyan." he calmly replied with a nonchalant shrug.
"Kahit gustuhin man nating humanap ng ibang inn ngayon, ang lalim na rin ng gabi so I think it would be better kung umakyat na tayo ngayon. Gusto ko na ring matulog ngayon saka nagpadagdag na rin pala ako ng mga unan at kumot kaya okay na'yon." Saad pa nito saka humikab.
That damn facts really disappoint me.
Kahit ako, inaantok na rin naman ngayon. At ayoko man ang setup naming ito, wala na'kong ibang magagawa kundi tanggapin nalang ang kamalasan ko na makasama itong matulog ngayong gabi sa iisang silid.
Blowing out an exasperated sigh, marahan nalang akong tumango rito.
"Fine. I'll just sleep on the bed and you sleep on the floor. So now, umakyat na tayo."
"What?? Anong I'll sleep on the floor?"
I groaned and glared at him when he complained that as if he had heard me saying that I'm actually a man.
"You heard me, Liam. Sa sahig ka matutulog at ako naman sa kama."
"Sa sahig? Gusto mo bang manigas ako sa lamig ng sahig rito?"
I gave him a pointed look when he exaggeratedly reacted that. Well, siguro dahil kahit minsan sa buong buhay nito, hindi pa ito nakakatulog sa sahig. That's why he was giving me this horror look in his face right now.
"So anong gusto mong mangyari ngayon? Any good suggestion para makatulog na tayo ngayon?"
My brow arched up in suspicion when a knowing smile suddenly appeared in his face while he crossed his arms on his chest.
"I have a better idea. What if.. magtabi nalang tayo sa isang kama at----"
"No. Never gonna happen."
Agad na napasimangot ito when I snapped that.
There's just no way I'm going to allow that to happen!!
"But Suzy---"
"Okay. Para matapos na'to, ako nalang ang matutulog sa sahig at ikaw sa kama. Period."
"W-WHAT??"
When he exclaimed that in shock, napapailing-iling na lamang ako rito.
"Enough with your exaggerated reactions, Liam. Tara na." Aya ko na rito with my annoyed voice before I began to head towards the stairs at the corner of this place.
I felt him followed my lead while he kept grumbling as he tried to keep up with my steps.
"Suzy, you know we can just share that bed at hindi mo na kailangan pang matulog sa sahig." Saad agad nito nang maabutan na niya ako.
Hindi ko na ito pinansin and I just marched up towards the second floor. There's just no way na matutulog ako sa iisang kama kasama ito.
Baka ano na namang gagawin nito sa'kin.
He kept groaning in protests while keeping up with my steps. Then after a few moments, narinig ko ng bumuntong hininga ito sa tabi ko.
"Okay, fine. Kung ayaw mo talagang may katabi sa kama, I guess I'll just sleep on the floor then at sa'yo na ang kama." Paubaya pa nito kahit halata naman sa boses nito na napipilitan lang ang gago.
"I'll sleep on the floor, Liam and you on the bed. Wala ng maraming reklamo."
"Pero---"
"Kung ayaw mong dito nalang ako sa labas matulog pwes, hayaan mo ko Liam and enough with your arguments." I grumbled saka humarap na rito pagkarating namin sa harapan ng itim na pintuan with 'Room 15' written acrossed that door.
He was glaring at me while pouting so much like a kid.
I just ignored him and just motioned him to open the door.
"Open it now, Liam. Gusto ko ng matulog."
When I commanded that, nakasimangot na nitong binuksan ang pintuan gamit ang susing ibinigay sa kanya.
Pagkabukas nito ng pinto, a single bed greeted us with a small table seated beside that bed and a single wooden chair rested at the corner. The room was painted in cream color and the only thing that provided light on that room was the single lampshade at the bedside table.
In other words, it was too simple but just enough for someone like me na sanay sa simpleng buhay.
Good thing he had requested an extra sheets and pillow so I'll be fine on the floor.
I quickly picked up the extra-sheets and pillow from the bed saka inilatag na'yon sa sahig. Ignoring the bastard who just kept groaning in disapproval behind me.
"Suzy, you know we can just share this bed tonight dahil tiyak ang ginaw diyan sa sahig ngayon.."
I groaned when he complained that again. Na para bang wala na talaga ako sa katinuan para makipagtabi ako rito buong gabi. Too dangerous for me.
"Just don't mind me, Liam. Sanay akong matulog sa sahig and you're definitely not. So just shut your goddamn mouth now at matulog ka nalang." Saway ko na rito saka humiga na pagkatapos kong maglatag ng hihigaan ko, ignoring his glares while he was towering over me.
"Suzy, it's cold down there at baka hindi ka pa makatulog ng maayos diyan. Pero kapag dito ka naman matutulog sa tabi ko, you know you can always have my arms to give you comfort and warmth. Anytime baby.."
I groaned and threw him a glare when he uttered that habang pilit na magmukhang seryoso ang mukha nito kahit halata namang may balak na naman itong manantsing sa'kin ngayong gabi.
This pervert!
"Kung ayaw mong sa labas kita patutulugin ngayong gabi, Liam pwes tigil-tigilan mo'ko sa mga kalokohan mo. Just sleep now and goodnight!" Asik ko na rito and without waiting for his response, ipinikit ko na ang mga mata ko kahit gusto ko ng patayin ito ngayon.
I heard him grumbled some incoherent words and then after a few moments, he let out a sigh of resignation. Saka maya-maya lang, naramdaman ko ng sumampa na ito sa kama. Probably having no choice now but to sleep on bed. Alone.
Buti naman kung ganun. Akala niya siguro mauuto niya akong tumabi rito. Huh! Manigas siya!
Determined to sleep now, tumagilid na'ko ng higa and not long, agad na rin akong nakatulog kahit ang tigas pa ng hinihigaan ko ngayon.

LIAM'S POV
I glared at the woman on the floor when I heard her began to snore now.
This woman! Nagagawa niya pa talagang humilik ngayon when I know for sure it was too uncomfortable to sleep on that cold floor!
Halos isang oras na rin itong nakatulog ngayon at isang oras ko naring pinupukulan ito ng matalim na tingin.
She had really preferred to stay on that cold floor than be in my arms!
Kung pwede ko lang sanang pilitin ito, kanina ko pa sana 'yon ginawa!
At that thought, napapatiim na lamang ako ng bagang while groaning in annoyance.
Actually, marami pa naman talagang bakanteng silid rito pero dahil minsan lang ito mangyari na magkasama kami kaya ba't di ko nalang sulitin ito.
When I thought about it, I smirked in satisfaction dahil napaniwala ko agad ito. Still smiling at myself, bumaba na'ko agad sa kama saka lumapit na sa tabi nito.
Nakatihaya na ito ng higa ngayon while her mouth was slightly parted. With his light snores right now, mukhang tulog na tulog na ito ngayon kaya hindi agad ito magigising sa gagawin ko ngayon.

And for awhile, I just stayed there gawking at her sleeping form. As if I was suddenly entranced by her peaceful look. Ngayon ko lang nagawang titigan ito sa malapitan and now I realized na may maliliit na nunal pala ito sa mukha. And strangely, I suddenly have this want to touch her face.
Well, tulog naman ito so I'll be fine kung gagawin ko ito.
Slowly, my hand found her face and then gently traced those moles with my finger. And I don't know why those moles suddenly become attractive in my eyes the more I stared at it and her small face.
Her untrimmed dark brows were obvious na hindi pa ito nagagalaw kahit kailan pero bumagay naman ito sa mga mata nito. Sa naaalala ko, she had a deep set of brown eyes.
My gaze moved down to her pert nose. It was small and neat which complimented her small lips. Her beauty was just too simple compared to every woman I've always been acquainted to. Too simple pero nakapagtataka lang na gustong-gusto kong nakikita ang mukha nito.
Was it really just my lust that makes me feel this way towards this woman? Or nahihibang na talaga ako kaya nararamdaman ko ito?
My gaze focused on her parted lips when she suddey snored again. Those luscious lips that felt so damn addictive. Those lips na lagi nalang nitong ipinagdadamot sa'kin.
But Hooray, Liam! Tulog ito ngayon at walang malay so you can kiss her now without her keep pushing you off.
Desperate to feel her lips, hindi na'ko nagdadalawang isip pa na halikan ito. I just missed the taste of her lips.
Gusto ko pa sanang diinin ang halik kong 'yon but knowing that it'd be impossible then to stop myself wanting more, I decided to just end it with a peck on her lips kahit na ang hirap namang gawin 'yon.
Sighing out, tumabi nalang ako ng higa rito though my hands were itching to touch her.
Especially her damn fluffy butt. Just thinking back at how fluffy it was the last time na hawakan ko ito, I groaned again when the itching of my hand intensified.
Oh God. Stop your goddamn hands now Liam before she'd curse the hell out of you 'pag nagising ito!
With so much effort, I stopped it with clenched teeth.
Kung hindi niya lang sana ako isusumpa kapag tinangka ko na namang hawakan ang pwet nito, gagawin ko na talaga sana 'yon!
When again, humilik na naman ito, matalim na pinukulan ko nalang ito ng tingin.
Nagagawa niya pa talagang humilik ngayon when I myself was struggling to stop my want to touch her!
Letting out an exasperated groan, tumihaya na lamang ako ng higa sa tabi nito.
I guess I should just sleep tonight. The first time for me na hindi man lang ginagalaw ang kasama ko ngayon sa kama. And damn with this first time! Ang hirap pala nito!
Katabi mo nga ito pero hindi ka naman makahirit na galawin at gambalain ito dahil sa takot na magwala na naman ito. Mabubulabog pa nito ang buong lugar na'to.
It would've been better if I could just hit a cold shower now. That way, mawawala ang pesteng init na nararamdaman ko ngayon para rito.
So frustrated with my situation, sinipat ko nalang uli ito ng tingin. Ang himbing himbing pa rin ng tulog nito habang ako rito, halos mabaliw na sa mga kalaswaang iniisip kong gawin rito.
Oh God. I must be crazy to even feel this strong desires for this woman. I just hope na makakasurvive ako hanggang bukas mula sa torture na'to.
And I think magagawa ko lang 'yon kapag hindi ko katabi ito.
Groaning in annoyance, pinili ko nalang na matulog sa malamig na sahig. Malay natin, this cold floor might be a help para makatulog ako.

SUZY'S POV
"Thank you."
"Hmm.."
Nang marinig ko na naman ang sagot niyang 'yon, takang tiningnan ko na ito sabay sara ng pintuan ng sasakyan nito.
Kaninang umaga pa ito ganito. Panay lang ang 'hmm' nito sa mga tanong ko. Para bang nakakain ito ng kung ano that's why he was giving me this weird treatment now.
Parang puyat na puyat rin ang mukha nito. Dark eyebags were visible under his face.
I wonder what keep him awake last night.
Well, maybe dahil lumipat ito sa malamig na sahig kagabi kaya nagkakaganito?
When my other mind pointed that out, I mentally nodded at that.
Well then, that explains why he woke up like a living zombie this morning. Buti nalang wala ng masamang ginawa ang gago habang tulog ako. Hindi lang sana eyebags ang aabutin nito kanina, magkapatid na black eye na rin sana.
Suminyas lang ito sa'kin na aalis na ito. When I nodded my head, agad naring umalis ito.
Once his car disappeared in sight, dali-dali na rin akong pumasok sa loob ng apartment ko and prepared myself for my 8am job.
Gusto ko sanang bisitahin lage si Samantha sa ospital para may makausap naman ito habang nagpapagaling ito pero dahil may trabaho ako at mahirap ang magpabalik-balik sa lugar na'yon, I guess I'll just visit her this Sunday.
Starting Monday, night shift nalang ang pwede kong pasukan na sched dahil internship ko na and good thing kompleto na sa wakas ang pambayad ko sa graduation fee so I'm excited now.
Just the thought na malapit na'kong makatapos, masayang-masaya na'kong pumasok sa trabaho. Ignoring my workmates kept talking about Liam's latest affair.
MONDAY. Excited na'kong bumaba ng taxi sa tapat ng matayog na hotel.
'MONTERO HOTEL GROUP OF COMPANIES'
When I read that name being displayed right above the hotel entrance, I heaved up a deep breath.
Alright. Siguro naman hindi ko laging makikita ang gagong Liam na'yon rito. At kung palagi man, hindi naman niya siguro gugustuhing sirain ang pangako niya na hindi na'ko guguluhin.
Inhaling deeply, nagsimula na'kong maglakad papasok ng hotel and headed straight to the reception area for some question.
Pagkalapit ko palang rito, agad ng tumingin sa'kin ang dalawang babae. Wearing their fitted maroon uniforms while pasting a practiced smile in their faces.
"Yes, ma'am? How may we help you with?"
I smiled at them and queried.
"Good morning. I'm one of the interns here. Itatanong ko lang sana kung----"
"Suzy?!"
That got me snapped my head to my right when someone called that. And the moment Klent appeared in sight, hindi ko na napigilang mapangiti rito habang nakangiti naman itong palapit sa'kin ngayon mula sa may entrance.
At gaya ko, he was in his office suit as well. I'm wearing a simple cream button down and I paired it with a dark kneelength office skirt and a cream high heeled shoes. Simple and comfortable.
Habang ito naman.. tsk, tsk.. With his navy blue suit, everyone would really mistake him as the owner here at hindi bilang isang intern lang.
And working here with him is such a blessing.
Agaw pansin na rin ito sa mga kababaihan rito at parang wala lang naman itong pakialam sa paligid nito as he strode towards me.
"Just on time. Naabutan rin kita rito." Bungad nito without taking the smile in his lips.
"Oo. Magtatanong na nga sana ako kung saan tayo didiretso ngayon." Nakangiting sagot ko na rito.
"Oh yeah. I've heard na sa accounting department tayo maaassign rito kaya pumunta na agad tayo ron. I'm certain na nandun na rin ang iba pang interns rito. So let's go now?"
When he asked that, I frowned at him.
"Let's go? Alam mo man lang ba kung saang floor ang accounting department rito?" Takang tanong ko rito.
When he nodded, napapatango na lamang ako rito as I was amazed by him. Mukhang marami na itong alam sa pasikot-sikot rito kahit first day palang namin ngayon.
Nang ayain na niya ako uling umakyat na sa kung saan kami magtatarabaho, napapangiting tumango na lamang ako rito and walked with him towards the elevator.Â
With Klent being here now and so far, wala pa'kong nakikitang gago, I guess my first day here won't be that bad then gaya ng iniisip ko kanina.
At that thought, excited na'kong naghintay sa labas ng elevator with Klent and other hotel employees sa tabi ko.
At mga ilang sandali lang, bumukas na rin sa wakas ang pintuan ng elevator and then came out those people na nakasakay rito.
Nang magsimula ng magsipasukan ang iba pati na si Klent, nakangiting sumunod na rin ako rito.
Ilang minuto nalang at 8am na so I should-----
"Suzy my friend!!"
My steps halted when suddenly, I heard that loud familiar voice exclaimed that from behind us. So familiar that I wanted to just hide now dahil pagkasambit niya sa nga katagang 'yon, everyone around me halted as well sabay lingon sa gawi nito saka sa'kin.
Goodness with this man! Kailangan niya ba talaga akong tawagin ng ganun sa harap pa mismo ng maraming tao????!
