BEFORE WE CONTINUE
If a text is in between (( )) then it's a dialogue between the players, not the characters, got it? Aight LESGO.
---
They are in the middle of a session, fighting against a very cheesy boss.
The party was composed of a blue-dressed witch, a necromancer dog, some guy that smells like lemons, a knight in steel armor, and a dude very similar to Dante from DMC.
It was the knight's turn, and the debate started on whether or not to use "that"
(("Can I do "that"?"))
(("Dunno, ask Team Leader."))
(("I mean, it would be useful rn..."))
(("So that's a yes?"))
(("Ye sure."))
(("Epic"))
The player controlling the Knight proceeded to do his action, a special move that uses his total HP as damage, he rolled the die and…
(("HELL YEAH!"))
(("NOW I'M MOTIVATED"))
((*Barks*))
(("Damn"))
In the chat, a double-digit magic number made its appearance, known by many as "CRIT roll", "Max dice" or just… Nat20
"DEUS, MOTHERFUCKING, VULT!"
The crusader charged forward, and with an almighty tackle, the boss was no more.
At the end of the session, that was the main topic of discussion.
"Dude that was epic."
The one who was controlling the crusader wrote his answer.
"Tanks."
Although the phrasing was weird, everyone knew the true meaning behind those words.
"Hey Ed, where are the memes."
"On it Dredd."
He opened a new tab on his browser and started working.
He may be getting slower, but when he's motivated, he could make anything into a meme.
This one was about his crusader character and the nat20 he rolled.
He used the template of a dude with 25 UNO cards and ensembled it in less than a second. The thing that took most of his time was searching for a PNG image of a crusader helmet.
After 2 minutes of scrolling, he found the image and finished the meme.
[Stop rolling 20 on ULT or draw 25]
He then decided to make another meme with a variation of the template.
[Stop making memes or draw the entire deck]
There it showed the face of his internet alter, a character with messy hair, white skin, dark small pupils, and sharp teeth, holding a fuckton of UNO cards.
"Bruh."
Ed cracked his knuckles and replied to his friend's comment.
"Bruh indeed."
He loved that phrase after he heard it being used on a video about Allan Poe's books (but not before modifying it to suit his manner, of course).
After a while of talking (and memeing), the man known by his friends as Edward Hyde stood up, writing "brb" before heading towards the kitchen.
There, he prepared himself a sandwich and-
= = =
"FUCK!"
The man's face denoted his pain as he tried to remember what happened next.
Yet his attempts are futile against the blocked memories that may hold the answer to many things.
He brought his white hand towards his face, touching his new skin, eyebrows, hair, and mouth.
After he had confirmed that his body had indeed changed, Edward Looked up towards the bright blue sky with a half-assed, crooked smile on his face.
"...At least I don't need to go to school now-"
*Snore*
"The fuck?"
Confused by the sound, he turned his head around, fixing his gaze towards his side, and there he saw it.
A crusader wearing a set of armor, his left arm had some kind of retractable shield made of a weird material, and the pair of guns he carried emitted some kind of divine aura.
It was the same appearance as his RPG character…
'..No, it can't be…' Edward smiled softly as if he was seeing some kind of joke.
But his smile faded away when his eyes noted a characteristic accessory his character had.
A Bluetooth speaker was attached to the crusader's belt…
His eyes switched between the crusader's helmet, guns, and his Bluetooth speaker, all the while the ill-faced man could only stare in awe.
'Damn…' was the only thing he could say in his mind, but then he was startled.
The crusader moved his head, this one falling behind.
After it reached that point where you start feeling as if you're going to fall back, the crusader almost jumped in its place, his senses alert.
"HOLY SHIT!" The crusader yelled, looking around startled.
Edward, in return to the crusader's obliviousness, made an expression that gave the aura that he was about to say "bruh" at the top of his lungs.
'Yup, there's no mistake' he thought.
'That dumbass is definitely mine.'
