After asking for some directions, they entered a building.
It was a very spacious place, with a lot of round tables, giving the appearance of a tavern, but this one held a board filled with quests and other notes. As both Noah and Edward approached the guild's reception, Noah started looking around intrigued.
Edward stopped walking. "What're ya looking at?"
Following his creator's move, Noah's pace halted, "It's just been… So long since I've been in a place like this," He slowly analyzed the place, as if it held a dear memory to him. "I'm not even sure if I have actually been inside one at all."
Edward grabbed Noah's hand and pulled him closer towards the guild's stand.
"Come on stop daydreaming! Let us pick a quest!"
Noah let out a small laugh "Sir, it looks like you have never taken upon a quest"
Edward looked back with a grin on his face"I haven't! And I wanna do it!"
Noah let out a small chuckle.
'He looks like a kid'

"Yo, welcome."
The duet of creator and creation were received by a girl with intense ginger long hair combed on a ponytail, the color matching her thin eyebrows, her deep blue eyes shone with energy as she stared at the pair, she was very good-looking.
Her attire consisted of high socks and a long dark skirt with a single horizontal white line around it, she wore a white shirt and a red tie, contrasting with the blue jacket she wore on top.
She was almost the same, if not smaller than Edward, and had a perfect balance between... You know what.
'Tits and ass, perfectly balanced, as all things should be.'
She took out a metal bat and pointed it to Hyde "I know you just thought something perverted so you better finish yer business here before I smack you to oblivion."
Edward leaned closer with a smile on his face. "Joke's on you I'm into that shi-"
"If you don't mind me intruding," Noah intervened "But we would like to get a quest"
"Oh," The innkeeper answered, lowering the bat. "So, are you guys a party or...?"
"Oh, yes we-"
"HELL YEAH WE ARE, READY FOR ADVENTURE AND EV'RYTHING!" Edward said, interrupting Noah with his excitement and his eyes giving a dim red glow for an instant.
"Right…" the Innkeeper said, taken aback by the sheer amount of enthusiasm from Edward. "So, what're your names."
Noah placed a hand on his chest and formally bowed. "My name is Noah Bismarck and I am a crusader, pleased to know you."
"Right…" She looked at Edward. "So, what about you."
"Name 's Hyde! Edward Hyde! Certified Memelord and adventure enthusiast!" He boasted while striking a pose.
"Seriously?"
"Deadass."
The innkeeper let out a sigh at the sheer amount of bizarreness that each of them (especially the dark-haired one) emanated.
"Alright, give me a moment to get ya some quests."
She turned her back at the dynamic duo and went closer to the quest board, handpicking three quests in total before going back and placing them on top of the table.
"..."
Noah looked at Edward's troubled look. "What is it Sir?"
"It 's English."
"Yes I noticed…"
"Was expecting some kind of isekai-ish weird language, but it's english…"
"Well, can you read it?"
"Yeah, it's kind of a relief but…" Hyde let out a very disappointed sigh. "It's kind of disappointing."
He examined each paper with thoroughness, luckily the quests also had images for guidance.

-[★1 Star] Slime Busters
["A bunch of slimes have been appearing near a lake north of town, go and check why, maybe take care of it on your way."]
-[★1 Star] Robin' da hood
["A group of adventurers got scammed and want their money back, the hooligans who robbed the money are hidden somewhere in town, find them out and return the money."]
-[★1Star] Weegee's Mansion
["Ludvik (Nicknamed Weegee for some reason) Recently bought a mansion south of town, only to find out it is cursed, clean the mansion and vanquish its residents."]

"So, which one we picking?" Asked Edward.
Noah pointed at one of the quests.
"This one."

The dynamic duo are walking down the streets on their way to the quest location.
"So, are you…"
Edward sighed with a smile "No, I am seriously not a God, far from it actually."
"Then what are you then?"
"Ever played make-believe?"
"No?"
"You know what's make-believe?"
"Yes..?"
"Alright so take a crazy bunch of ideas, make a fuckton of classes, use math as a base and…"
Edward stopped making weird gestures with his hands and stared blankly.
"Fuck wrong idea."
"Pfft-"
Noah couldn't help but laugh, quickly placing a hand on his mouth to try and stop himself from laughing louder.
Of course, it is not that useful if you are wearing a helmet.
"Hahahaha!"
"Come on it's not that funny!"
"But it is! Hahaha!"
After a while, they reached their destination.
They both looked up at the giant mansion in front of them, even the sky around it felt dark in comparison to the cheerful streets they walked through before.
"Sooo…" Edward asked. "Why are we doing this one?"
"What? You're afraid?"
the boy waltzed inside the mansion.
"I ain't afraid of no ghost."

*Creeeek*
The duet entered into the poorly (if not even) lit mansion.
Noah looked around, analyzing the place.
The entrance directly led to a pair of stairs that led to a second floor, at all three sides were located doors that led to other rooms, the most noteworthy one being the one directly under the stairs, this being a double door.
Although the place looked abandoned from the outside, it had a surprisingly clean interior, at least for now.
"Huh, was expecting shit to be more…"
"Run down?" Noah finished.
"Yeah…" Edward quickly gazed over the room. "Not bad at all tho."
He took a deep breath of the old-smelling air.
"AYE YO GHOSTS!" The Memelord yelled.
"NICE PLACE IDIO-"
*Dun*
Both Noah and Ed looked behind them.
"Aw fuck."
"I shall agree with your statement Sir Hyde."
The door behind them was now closed.
