"The Founding Seal. The Origin Seal. The Seal of Start" still with the blank expression, I blurted out quietly.
These three names he had said all referred to one thing - The Seal of Existence.
It was through grasping this seal that he was able to confirm some guesses he had about the world, its structure, and how it functioned. His guesses had been answered.
1. There really was the existence of Karma and the world.
Before, it was just a relatively believed guess from the principles of Theosism and how it explained a lot of other things he didn't understand such as luck and the starting point of humans. But now, he was sure of it.
Not only was he sure of it because of his previous guesses, but it was also from the newly obtained knowledge from the system initiation.
Logically, tracking through the founding points it made and what he comprehended, the existence of karma and the world's will had been determined.
In fact, he was even able to think of a few guesses on how the world will behaved. However, he still didn't have enough information on it so wasn't even able to do as to calculate out its likability, or simply said - percentage to be true.
2. There existed other power paths. Other than the esper, mage, and the martial artist paths, there existed other pathways. It was just that the world wasn't much advanced in this direction of development. Perhaps in ancient times...
Not much talk about that here.
The ancient times era of this world was very short-lived. Only a few hundred years. Even during those years, the topic was always the elements of the world and researches on it.
Onto the previous topic:
The Seal of Existence was the starting point of the pathway known as the sealing path.
Only by seeing through one's own existence itself and see their Seal of Existence, would a person be able to tap into the power of the seals and construct them. This was a pathway heavily influenced by the person's ability to logically reason and comprehend things.
The more they knew and comprehended, the more powerful the pathway became, and the less they knew, the weaker it was.
A pathway that relied on exploring oneself and the world.
...
So there are different branches of seals and they are discernible by their effects. Most clearly, it was through their colors.
For example, the Seal of Life had a red color while the Seal of Death had a gray color.
There were countless seals in the world, but all of them branched out from two seals. The Seal of Existence and the Seal of Nothingness.
Currently, he had no information on the latter except he knew that it existed.
From the different branches were different seals, each of them with magical abilities. But in the pathway, the most empathized pathway was the sealing pathway. Robbing people or things of their functions and making them unable to do anything.
That was the sealing pathway.
So as a sealing practitioner, he first wanted to try its power.
So he raised his right index finger and drew a circle and a dot in the air.
'It should be like this...' staring into the air, Kirt was somehow expectant of the results.
However, what should he have thought? Nothing would happen of course.
"Messed up" facepalming myself, I just realized I learnt no seals and their structures. I only saw them and yet thought I would be able to construct them?
If it was so easy, this path would've already been discovered by other people.

[Learn Seal - Inanimate Seal?]
[Yes / No]
'Would it be another dream?' I thought before saying yes.
"Yes"
To my surprise however, I didn't sleep this time.
Well, he wasn't sure. He was currently in a dark place and a seal was being drawn right in front of him.
It was a two-dotted seal - A line that had a certain pattern to it. A still pattern going directly from one dot to the other. The Seal of Inanimate's design wasn't much interesting, just the classical shown in pictures.
Then after the drawing was done, a few points birthed inside his mind.
1. Inanimateness. The state of having no soul and spirit, with no ability to think.
2. State of having no thought. No thought means no existence; its value is therefore practically nonexistent to a living with thoughts.
3. ...
Going on like this, the main points of these thoughts were that living beings with spirits and those without were realms apart. Not just realms apart; it was in a whole another dimension.
So controlling such things were quite easy with his 'living' quality. He just had to provide the necessary power and energy for the seal to succeed; meaning that as long as he does it correctly, there was nothing to worry about them.
But of course, there were differences. Those with special energy and those without.
In the points transmitted to him, everything was energy itself.
They were massive bundles of energy that never stopped. To stop meant to not exist, therefore, not stopping for even a second, everything created energy.
As the concept of traces did not matter to the nothingness, it would immediately wipe you out of existence if you stopped creating energy.
Well, every matter, the atoms and even the endless void between the atomic particles were energy. They weren't still.
...
So after some time in the void, after thinking about something, he returned back to reality.
"It should work this time" saying this, he got his pen and a random notebook on the table nearby. Then, he picked up his pen and drew a circle on the paper.
The circle wasn't perfect at all, however, it felt much different. Just as if its line had depth into it.
It felt mysterious and special; but he didn't stop there.
Instead, he continued and drew two dots. Two dots that were simple yet also complex.
It wasn't long before the line between them was drawn. A perfect line that connected the two dots.
After doing that, he waited. He just waited and stared at the piece of paper intently, seeing what it will do. However, nothing happened in the end.
It failed unfortunately. Not that he was surprised.
He accepted the fact because he expected it. So he began drawing his second seal without much of a change in his emotions. Just like the previous one, the drawing on the paper looked real and would come out of the paper at any moment. Yet, it still failed.
However, he still didn't give up. Instead, he continued on his third drawing. This time, the drawing even felt as if it was gonna come out of the paper at any time.
Even the blue color expressing inanimate seals surfaced although the pen was a black ballpoint pen. It showed how close he was this time.
'That's it for today. I'm wasted' as Kirt realized how much exhausted he was, he immediately stopped what he was doing and fell onto the bed.
