Artemis was still wondering where did the guy vanish to, he was sure that a boy had bumped into him earlier.
'Hey, Axela did you see that?'
Out of the habit that he used to talk to her the most in these past months and had no one else to rant his stuff to, Jeremy called out to her but as expected there was a silence.
Whereas on the other hand of the picture inside the building on some upper storey, a kid appeared out of nowhere after the distorted waves dissipated.
"Master!"
His worrisome voice had snagged the attention of the man, who opened his eyes and the blob of energy in front of his chest disappeared.
He stared at the young boy while they both stood in the middle of the glass room, since it was the meditating session of the headmaster the glass walls had been turned milky white.
"What is it, Burton?"
His expression was utterly annoyed though Burton was the monitor of the whole west wing, and was supposed to be the only connection between the headmaster and the students.
"What measly matter have you brought to me today?"
The headmaster who had been sitting on a slab which seemed to be the blessing of some element of nature, floated towards the desk behind him.
While the walls turned into a see through glass again, but only the headmaster could see the outside scenario and the vision was blocked for the people outside his cabin.
"With respect to the headmaster, I encountered prince Artemis outside just now."
Burton conveyed his message and became nervous about the outcome, but he was aware if he did not inform about the matter then his access to the inner core arts would be restricted.
"That brat is here again!"
The headmaster who seemed to be someone in his eighties yelled with anger, while some visible nerves popped up around his temples. His rage caused the distortion in the signals on the glass walls that a few cracks appeared
Burton imminently lifted his arms and drew some pattern in the air which seemed to be some computerized language. A portal emerged and he left the room without even thinking twice, the man knew the headmaster's abilities.
"I won't spare that brat today, because of him his highness questioned my abilities last time!"
The headmaster became clouded with revenge on prince Artemis because he had run away last time, and the Martian king mocked him for not being able to keep a kid.
But this time things were different since it was Jeremy Grayson with his eagerness, and the identity of Artemis. And that young boy was definitely not going to run away!
On the ingress of the building Artemis saw a few kids chattering and staring at him, he sensed the danger imminently.
'They sure have a prior image about the notoriously known prince. But I will change every perception bitches!'
Jeremy walked inside the building and a huge hall welcomed him with chattering students. It was the moment when he realized a gush of sensation above his stomach.
'What kind of warm feeling is this? I didn't feel anything outside the shield, and nothing in the ground outside too.'
He felt as if something had been attracting him, just like a metal gets driven towards a magnet!
The headmaster arrived from the huge door of the building, while Jeremy walked through the courtyard. He was raging with anger while the man yelled as he approached.
"How dare you come back here, you..!"
He wanted to abuse him but as someone below the Martian king, he had to keep his mouth in check. Artemis imminently knew he was someone in the authority, and had a prior idea about the trigger too.
"I'm deeply apologetic, headmaster."
Artemis immediately knelt in the courtyard acknowledging that he had to lower himself in order to attain something bigger.
'Don't you dare offend me old man, after learning the art of forging I will not spare you. Hah! I didn't even spare my friend, I hold grudges!'
Jeremy mumbled to himself, as he resumed his speech. All thank to the royal guard who had filled him in.
"Due to my disobedience before his highness became strict over you. But I assure you this time I will make you proud."
The headmaster scoffed while the students chuckled at his words, when one of them spoke ridiculing him.
"Bullshit! You don't even have a strong mental energy to learn any of the art, let alone forging. You will disgrace headmaster once again."
Jeremy wanted to give him a reply but he got interrupted by the headmaster.
"Whatever it is, I don't trust your words at all young man. That's why I can't take you in."
He was about to leave after announcing his decree, upon which all the students looked down on Artemis.
'What the heck! This man is asking for death, I guess.'
The young boy had to get enrolled no matter what, because the greed from his human part had clouded his judgement. Despite being the protector of the people, he knew the fact hard way people don't care if you live or die. They just want to get benefitted at all costs.
"But his highness will confront you on this."
He played his card according to his hunch that it might work. The students went silent upon his audacity because the last time they had encountered Artemis he was a scared boy.
The headmaster was equally shocked and turned around with a lopsided grin.
"Oh? Haha!"
He laughed wholeheartedly and wiped off his tear, and replied to Artemis.
"Don't worry about that boy, his highness had already instructed me to kick you out if you failed. I will tell him that you incapable."
Jeremy gritted his teeth and couldn't help but to cuss the actual prince for being stupid.
'Tsk, the king will believe in his words since the prince is known for having no talent.'
He began to think on rapid pace for any solution, since without Axela's help everything had suddenly become difficult.
But before he could react with a counter statement, the old man lifted his both hands up and the wind in the empty space between his hands was launched at Jeremy.
"Get out of here, and don't dare to come back!"
Artemis had never seen such power, not even at previous station where people were surviving on lake water and by powering up temporarily by eating beasts.
Within a few seconds Jeremy found himself back in the meadow, he wasn't hurt at all which surprised him.
"What even...how did he do that? Ugh! I have to get in somehow to learn this."
He stomped his feet on the ground with determination.
"I will make you take me in, just you wait and watch!"
