Chapter 32 - Take Me In

Jeremy strolled in the front ground muddling to himself, it was the moment when he decided something.

"I have to get enrolled no matter what, now that I'm thrown out there are only two ways. Either I have to find something valuable to bribe, or to get the king to help me out."

Artemis walked within the shield although he had been still thinking about the plan, knowing that the second option seemed a total 'no.' While wandering inside the bubble he had acknowledged that the energy was divided in two intensities inside the shield.

'The energy within this bubble is good but inside the building it is intense which, provides a perfect atmosphere to the students to forge easily.'

Artemis cast a look on the glass building in front of his eyes, which stood taller a few steps away. He had already understood and analyzed the flow somehow,.

"If I use this energy here...I should just try too summon Axela here. She is an AI, so she should be easily accessible within this kind of flow."

With a vague hunch Jeremy crouched on the grassy ground and closed his eyes.

'All I have to do is to focus on my mind and find the gateway to her. Right!'

He began to feel a flow of warmth within himself after a few minutes of hard focus, that soon Jeremy was able to hear every kind of voice within the certain bubble.

'What exactly is this?'

He found himself engulfed by the darkness when a ray of light appeared. Jeremy covered his eyes as he was stranded in some blank space. As soon as the light dimmed the sight in front of him terrified the man.

"Axela!?"

His voice turned into a bare whisper which had a guilt within the tone, that Jeremy instantly felt bad for hurting her. Right in front of him was a half eaten blue circle, which was twice of his own size.

It was Axela in form of her coding which seemed similar to the nucleus, the eaten side appeared to be dissipating slowly. Jeremy floated towards the core and tried to touch it out of curiosity but instead of summoning the AI, it gave Jeremy a shock that he went flying backwards.

[Why are you here?]

Jeremy tried to stop his body from going further in backward direction, when he heard Axela's voice and it elated him for some reason.

"Axela! Haha, oh my goodness, you are alive!"

He couldn't help but to exclaim in happiness, whereas he didn't see the 'human form' of her but the voice sure resonated from the core.

[Alive? Do you really think I'm alive, Jeremy Grayson? I'm broken and disappearing from your brain.]

The black space flickered some light which was similar to the lightening, which displayed Axela's rage since Jeremy was in her territory . Although it was his own subconscious brain but a separate space was reserved for her.

"I...I'm sorry about that, I know I should have understood that there are limitations to certain things."

Jeremy apologized and slowly floated towards the core.

"I'm aware that I have messed up the things, but I believe somehow I'm able to fix it."

No response came from the other side, while Jeremy reached the core and attempted to touch it again.

[I don't want to serve you and I can't, since you are incapable of mending me.]

"No! Please Axela give me a chance, I'm sure I can't hurt you even more than I already have."

Without waiting for her response he touched the blue bubble of energy, which had been shining like a ball of light and multiple electrons.

Jeremy's hand was pulled inside the bubble as soon as his skin touched, within the core he witnessed numerous numbers and computer coding floating.

"Thank you for trusting me!"

Although he had no expertise of technology, but Jeremy wanted to experiment with the forging.

'There is no element among the four here, how am I suppose to fix this process for her by sorting out this coding?'

No doubt there was no air, fire, water or earth within the void, thus there was nothing which could fix her codes and upgrades the existing ones.

[You should go back Jeremy, I will be automatically erased from your brain in a few days.]

She had sensed that he was unable to do anything, and stated him the truth which Jeremy could already predict.

"NO!"

He moved closer to the rows and column of the floating numbers, when he thought of something.

'Wait, didn't she say something about merging on day one? There is one element here."

A confident smile appeared on his face, no doubt he was a detective despite the fact that all the clues were provided to him. He still had learned a lot of things, which had sharpened his thinking.

'I have my stream of consciousness here. That's my mental strength and I have learned to project it on planet Nrutas.'

That's how Jeremy could unlock the regeneration and healing. He closed his eyes and started to meditate, when his silhouette began to glow. And a few waves emerged from him, which travelled towards the codes and the numbers started to position themselves in certain order.

A bright light appeared and Jeremy woke up with a jerk, back in the ground when he witnessed the headmaster standing in front of him.

'Fuck! Am I in trouble for using this place to fix Axela?'

That was the only possible premise he could think off, as Jeremy smiled at him fakely.
