Chapter 34 - Disciple

'Fuck!'

As soon as Jeremy opened his eyes, he spotted the headmaster standing in front of him.

'It seems I'm in grave trouble.'

Artemis concluded because his little act of fixing Axela might have caused something to be detected by the system of the school. After all every planet kinda had its own tech and security stuff, which was obvious on Mars too.

Not to forget that Martians had already prospered in that certain aspect.

The old man had been glaring at him with his both hands tucked on his waist. Jeremy stood up from the ground and dusted off his hands.

"I was just going as you demanded."

He spoke in an obedient tone and turned around to step out of the energy bubble. Artemis was aware that his little act of fixing Axela had snagged the old man's attention.

But for some reason he did not stop Artemis from leaving which made the young boy curious.

'Come on, I know you are curious about me. Just stop me, you crack head!'

Artemis slowed down his pace of walking as he hoped the old man would call him any time soon, but it never happened and soon Jeremy was out of the bubble.

"Fuck!"

The lush grassy field and clean air greeted him while Jeremy stomped his feet on the ground.

"Fuck you, you stupid prince!"

He growled in irritation and rage while looking at the sky, when a black aura emerged from his body.

Jeremy had no clue about his eyes turning red along with the demonic aura. The sky started to turn black with clouds which appeared out of nowhere.

"What's happening?"

Artemis was taken aback by the sight when Axela's voice resonated in his head.

[Step back, you moron. And calm down!]

"Axela!? Haha, you are back!"

Upon hearing her voice Jeremy Grayson forgot about the chaos he had created. His excitement died soon after he sensed someone's presence behind himself.

In that particular moment his eyes returned back to normal along with the dissipation of the black aura.

"What are you trying to do, kid?"

The headmaster inquired him while he inspected the sky and the sudden climatic changes. He glared at Artemis and the air around the old man began to gather in a ball.

[Step away from him and lay down. Immediately!]

Axela' yelling scared him that despite being an adult Jeremy could expect anything frightening from the world now. Artemis followed her command and soon a bolt of lightning fell from the sky, which collided with the ball of air which the headmaster had summoned.

Jeremy was still trying to figure out what had just happened, when the old man approached him.

"Do you think you can snag my attention like this, huh?"

He held Artemis by his collars and lifted up the kid, while Jeremy did not know how he did that. But he was sure that the sudden change was caused by him.

After the collision the sky became clear and the clouds vanished like non existent scene, the headmaster confronted him again while jerking him.

"N- no, I don't know what just happened. It wasn't-"

Jeremy's justification got interrupted as the old man dropped him on the ground. A few students began to walk outside the shield, when the headmaster grinned.

"If that was your intention then, boy, you have succeeded in that."

The other disciples gasped at the words, because no one would have expected the rotten prince to get enrolled. Whereas Artemis was still dumbfounded upon the announcement.

"I will take you as my disciple! Welcome to the school of technological forging and mystical arts!"

The headmaster turned to Burton and tapped on his shoulder.

"Show the room to our prince Artemis."

The old man was gone leaving the chattering swarm of students outside the bubble. While Jeremy grinned giving them a victorious expression.

'Hoho, bitches, I'm staying here!'

Artemis walked inside the shield and the crowd split into two to give him the way.

[Congratulations, Jeremy. Now you are exposed to a greater opportunity of learning.]
