Chapter 29 - A New Goal

"You actually want me the great, I, to form a contract with y… Ahhh! Stop shaking me! Oaky! Okay, I will form a contract with you! You damn evil woman! " The teddy bear wanted to cry. He did not understand why his powers were not working on her. Since she had appeared, he had been trying to shoo her away, but now he was being tossed around and shaken up so much his head was spinning.

"Mmm, good! Now then." Yue raised her finger, and a golden light shot out of her finger and engulfed the teddy bear. A magic circle appeared underneath both of them. It grew brighter and brighter until the light engulfed the two. Once the light dimmed, a teddy bear shaped tattoo appeared on the back of Yue's hand.

"You! I wasn't even ready!? What the hell kind of contract is this!? A master servant!? Ahh! You despicable wom...! Ahh! Stop shaking me!" The teddy bear was not having a good day, it thought it could live a peaceful life within the forest, and now it was unable to do that. It had been captured and forced to contract a demon woman.

"MMm… Now to name you..." Yue sat down on the grass cross legged, placing the teddy bear into her lap. It struggled to get up before sitting down on her thigh. It could no longer wander too far from Yue now that it was contracted to her without her permission. "Name… N… A… M...E…."

Yue fell into deep thought as she tapped her chin and began to rock back and forth. She really had no idea what to name this little guy. As she got lost in thought, her eyes became droopy, and before she knew it, she was sound asleep. As for the little teddy bear in her lap, he patiently waited and waited and waited until finally, he yelled out: "How long does it tak..." His words got caught in his throat when he saw that Yue was now sound asleep. "Humph! I guess I can wait until morning." The little teddy bear found a comfortable spot and laid its head down, and fell asleep as well.

Yue woke up with the sun's warm rays beating down on her face. She groggily rubbed her eyes as she looked around. When she looked down, she saw the little teddy sound asleep in her lap. "Sorry, little guy, I can't really think of a name for you besides Teddy..." As the name fit anyway and was a male name, Yue decided to just go with it. She was too lazy to think of another name. She stood up and placed the little guy on her head so it could continue to sleep.

After giving a good stretch, Yue looked around her surroundings once more. She found a big leaf and then bit the tip of her finger for some blood before drawing a magic circle on the leaf. After saying a few words, the leaf flew up into the air and off into the distance.

"Now then… I sent a message to Leena saying to sit tight for the time being while I explore things a bit." Yue figured since she was already here, she would find a temporary place to call home.

She moved deeper into the forest and traveled for half the morning before she felt movement on top of her head. "Teddy, you're awake?"

"Hmm? Whose this Teddy you speak of?" Teddy asked. He did not seem to be fully awake yet.

"You stupid," Yue replied with a chuckle.

"Hmmm? Teddy? Wait, you named me Teddy!?" Teddy cried out, but once he thought about it, he felt that maybe this was not such a bad name… She could have named him some kind of girlie name. After thinking about it for a bit, he nodded. "This name I like!"

"Ah, okay..." Yue wondered if she should tell him she only named him that because she was too lazy to come up with anything else. "Teddy, recall the monsters. I want the monster domain back to how it was before. There will only be a small section that we will keep monster free for the time being."

"Mmm… done..." Teddy's body glowed for a split second before he laid back down. He yawned and said: "I made sure they would not attack you. If you want them not to attack others, you will have to let me know."

"Alright. We will deal with it later." Yue found this to be a huge perk! Not only did she not need to worry about being attacked, but she could also have her friends and loved ones on the do not attack list as well.

Orc campsite….

"I am going to find her!" Leena yelled out as she held a bloody leaf in her hand.

"Would you calm down, you stupid elf! She said she was fine and that the monsters would be returning to the forest. She also said she would be back in a few days to bring us along. Even if you want to search for her now, it would be impossible to find her!" Yustel rubbed his temples. This elf in front of him was submissive in bed, but when it came to other things, she was as stubborn as an ox unless you explained things to her a million times.

"But… What if she was forced to send this?" Lenna couldn't help but worry. Yue was young, after all.

"It will be fine. Come lay down before someone sees you like that. What if one of those orcs walks in." Yustel's warning caused Leena to look down and blush. She quickly dived back under the blankets.

Deep in the monster domain, Yue had traveled for three days. On the third day, she came across an interesting place. "This is?"

"It seems to be an ancient city..." Yue replied. "A perfect place to call home. I had planned to find a temporary shelter before building my own place to settle down in. But now that I have found this place, I have a new idea!" Yue's eyes lit up as she looked at the ancient city. "Teddy, what do you think about creating a nation? A nation where no one is seen as inferior? A place where everyone can live in peace without worrying if they can do this or that because they are unable to cast magic or because of their race?"
