"I am letting you off for today but be on time tomorrow. The experiment I was talking of needs both of us present doing things naturally. Only then will we be able to come to a conclusion." He had said those words before leaving Sweety to attend the next class.
When Sweety entered classroom, she was thrown with stares, something she was used to since a long time ago. It was when she settled in her seat that Meer came to sit beside her.
"Hey. You were long gone searching for a book. Did you find it?" He opened his own book for the next class while speaking with her.
Meer's tall frame which must be equal to that of Psychology teacher, caused her to remember how last night he asked her assistance.
"Meer, what did you see in me from the first time you saw me?" She blurted out in a way which caused the others sitting around them to turn their heads.
"Look, our Sweety is indirectly proposing her guy." A girl commented giggling.
"Or is she getting proposed, huh?"
"I am having a serious conversation here." Sweety shut their unimportant queries, then met his eyes level headed, awaiting his answer.
Meer for his part was not feeling very comfortable either. Peeking at the girl next to him he was aware she was not joking and wanted to know the truth.
"Tell me, did you analyze anything? Like what kind of a girl I am, what could be my family background or how is my attitude, anything?"
The more she detailed, he somewhat got her intentions. "Sweety, I feel like I am in a counselling session. But... I'll answer you, don't get irritated!" He added when Sweety's face dulled for not receiving what she wanted to.
"You were different from other girls I have seen here. Sometimes, we don't know how to handle a situation when thrown to us, but I can say you'd a great job at that."
"Oooo.... what a proposal!"
"At least that leaves Mr. Wilson for the rest of us, right girls?" Jasmine's point engaged a hot conversation about their Psychology teacher.
Sweety shook her head at their teenage desires and smiled at Meer for his answer.
"They are not wrong you know," he perched up to whisper, "When you were not in the class, Mr. Wilson was looking back and forth at the door. I think he was looking for you."
Yeah, and he found me, she thought.
"He is not bad at what he does. Just after looking at me, he said things about me which were actually correct. That's why I wanted to hear your opinion." Sweety explained.
He nodded understandably. "We've got an amazing teacher then," he smirked.
Rob was nestled in his cabin among colleagues discussing of upcoming exam paper preparations. While he was listening to the girl, he was satisfied she had no suicidal intentions.
In the process of acting a Psychology teacher, he read how people tend to take their own lives when things turn out too difficult to live for.
The chair opposite to his desk was pulled back by a woman dressed in red pencil skirt, his eyes roamed from her hips towards her face to see tremendous silence in the atmosphere.
He looked right to left which confirmed his theory when the teachers began gossiping like schoolkids.
"I can sit here, yes?" She sat before he could process an answer. The woman was a perfect piece of wife material for any single man or married one wanting an affair.
"I heard of the new Psychology teacher in our school. And came here to personally meet the person." She eyed his long legs which were positioned one upon other over the table.
One by one, he put his legs back in their supposed position. Below the table.
Rob took out his earpieces replying in same flirtation, "If I had known of receiving such a welcoming reception, I would have planned a better place."
She smiled her red lipstick delightfully, "Next time then. For now, let us exchange our names. I am Julia Sanders, I came here as a temporary placement."
"What a coincidence! I am here as the same."
She smiled at that, "Some people would miss us when we will be gone."
"I can say it could be more than 'some'..." Having to use his usual pick up lines after this long was a refreshing thing for Rob. He felt like he was himself.
"You didn't say your name, Mr. Wilson." She reminded after a while, the air around them went back to their work, at the same time leaning in there.
"Ah, my apologies. Frank Wilson. Psychology teacher. Temporary replacement for as long as I want. Mind it, I am also called a robber. For some reason girls tend to lose around me." He whispered in end.
Sneering she claimed, "I knew you won't disappoint me. If there is nothing catching you up after school hours, will you have a coffee with me? To make up for today's 'better place' reception."
"You talk wonders Miss Sanders. I will be on time."
Miss Sanders passed a business card which mentioned her Qualification and Designation, "Call me." The moment she left, a chair screeched to Rob's side, irritating his aroused soul.
"My, my! Julia Sanders is way too interested in you... You are going to get her tonight boy! I am telling you!"
"What are you doing here, Samuel?" He penetrated in frustration.
"Oh come on, you nailed the most desired woman tonight!" He yelled in excitement and covered his mouth after relaying the news. "Sorry." He said to other teachers, continuing with his favorite friend, "You should go and prepare something for her and... Hand me these, I'll listen songs while you're gone."
Rob did not pay attention since the unwanted male made his presence next to him. When he was gone, he blew out air in relief.
Julia did not have to wait long for her date arrived at the gates soon. His walk and the faded black hair, accentuated his form. She made a correct decision for choosing this job. Too bad he won't wake up to a good tomorrow, she wickedly thought before tucking her hand in his.
