"You are eating like you are going to die tomorrow." Julia notified watching him gulping down different dishes of chicken and meat.
"It's not like I find these everyday. Delicious!" He said in between mouthfuls.
She maintained her radiant smile while thinking how true her words were about to be.
"You never told me how you ended up here? Did you study in Harvard? Or Oxford?" Rob kept eating, deciding to answer after chewing another bite. "Or... UNAM?" He stopped chewing, consistently focused on the woman's intentions.
For the first time he scrutinized her in the suspicious manner rather a one night stand.
"I remembered, I had an assignment to look after. It needs urgent attention for tomorrow. Goodnight." He left the dining without bothering to pay.
"Frank! Are you just leaving me like that? What did I say wrong?!" Julia huffed out in frustration, gulping down her wine at a go. Calling a number she informed, "I got him. Since you are making me do this to a handsome man, I am going to need four times."
"Don't you think you are overestimating yourself?"
"No. I am merely pricing a rich call. Prepare cash soon." Hanging up, she followed after him.
Rob's cell phone vibrated multiple times which he ignored for two rings until he finally took it, "I am not in a mood Ty." He made sure to let the guy know his irritation.
"Get my earphones B.A.C.K!"
Those four illustrative words caused the irate man to confuse to realize his stupidity and run. Run like he was saving the normal human life from a chaos so personally destructive.
"Shit, shit, shit!" The restaurant was not very far from school due to which he was in time to see a scene he never imagined while coming on a mission over the states.
Samuel was surrounded by girls who he taught in his class. Sweety was among them as well.
"Now, I want you to go to that pole there and say something which no one can hear, but I will tell. I will tell what you said." Rob watched in horror as Works called Sweety to do it.
"You have been saying that for last five attempts but you did not guess what we said!" Jasmine, the straight-forward one did not back away from putting out the default in game.
"Quit it Samuel Sir, you don't have super ears."
"I know! But I am wearing these earphones which seem to make me hear your voices-" The earphones were snatched in an instant from his ears.
"You are disturbing my students from completing their homework Mr. Works." Turning to the girls he let them off, "You all leave now. We'll keep games for tomorrow. Goodnight girls." His parting farewell for the night cheered the moods of ladies who happily slanted away.
Pulling the jerk's collar, Rob questioned, "On whose permission did you take my things? Don't you dare perform this again Works."
Samuel was finding it too much to be physically active in one night. "But these were not working-"
"Exactly! These are not for your working! Stay away!" He eyed the man who pouted out before going back to his room.
"Ha! You'll come and apologize when you need coffee from me!" Samuel walked away in confidence to see that happening.
Tyler's call arrived right after he was alone. "How did you-"
"That is not a question I was expecting from you who was about to complete it all in a week." Tyler interrupted.
Rob pinched middle of his eyebrows. "You were listening her and you never cared to intimate me of that!"
"I don't have to inform you anything! You were just a step away from revealing..." He heard him letting out harsh breaths. Boy, he must have been really panicked for losing his invention again.
"You. Pack your bags and leave tomorrow. I'll find another way to deal with the girl."
"Tyler-"
"Don't even try to deny," he commanded strictly.
Pursing his lips he conveyed, "I'm pursued by me past life."
A line of silence followed the two friends. Tyler was considerably silent because he knew Rob was not Indian. He lived and blended like one. He never made friends, never hung out except for occasional physical release.
"What happened?"
"I'm suspecting a woman who is here as a placement teacher-" he stopped speaking as the said teacher was smiling seduce all the way from the watchmen's gate towards him.
"And? What's her name?" Tyler did not receive an answer. "Rob?" His phone might not have responded but the earphones did. Sweety was lurking somewhere nearby, Tyler realized.
"Who leaves their date alone on the first night?" She feigned anger but Rob was no longer affected by it.
"You know the way. Yet you took it long." He replied.
"Aw, seeing you worry about me... I forgive you. Anyways, I had to make a call before coming here to cancel the hotel booking I made for us..." Sweety was deciding whether to go back or wait until Julia Sanders left Mr. Wilson alone. After being reminded of Mr. Wilson's anger when his earphones were taken by Samuel Sir, she hurried up to return his pen she borrowed that morning. But seeing the two teachers being chummy, she didn't know what to do.
"Its late. Go back to your room."
Julia walked close to him, placing her hand on his shoulder while caressing his face, "I was thinking... What are you doing here?"
Rob raised his arms out of her grasp to turn to the direction where she was pointing. Sweety was standing meekly near a long bush.
Bowing her head a bit, she answered, "I am sorry to interrupt but I needed to return this to Mr. Wilson. Thank you for letting me use it and I am sorry for not giving you back sooner." Rob blinked at the girl's behavior. For a looker, it would seem like he scared his students because that was how she was acting. No she appeared really worried. What for? A pen?
Rob took the pen from her. "Thanks-" Sweety rushed out of there in an instant.
"You don't lack followers 'Mr. Wilson'" She mimicked his title the way Sweety pronounced.
He stared at her, taking his indication she sighed, "Fine. I'll go. But don't think you can start flirting and disappear in the middle." Winking at him she went over to girls hostel which preserved students and lady teachers for stay.
After such a day he scorched for a powerful scotch flowing down his throat. Coming across the two watchmen his teeth widened in happiness. "Oye you two! How do you do?"
Who said watching over a grand international school all night was a bad job? The only drawback being he could not stay awake for long. Until the following morning...
