Chapter 5 - The Fifth

Tiger Lily . . .

I woke up to Issac brushing his fingers through my hair and Bella treating my cuts from my fight with Issac. Bella pulled up my shirt to see the wound, and Issac looked away. I hissed when Bella put ointment on the slash from the desk. She squeezed my hand whispering "Easy Tiger" and Issac rubbed my shoulders. She finished and we cleaned up.

We headed to Principal Ark's office to explain why we weren't in class today and he was already waiting for us. The halls were emptying and a few teachers were still lingering around, finishing up a few tasks. He said he completely understood and would have a talk with Hannah.

"Tiger," he hesitated. "Try not to miss a full day of work next time, okay? You only have one more day of school until the whole school prepares for you to leave."

"10-4 Ark." I sighed.

Bella, Issac and I went to pick up Zack and headed out. Issac and Bella were coming over to our house for the evening. Issac also had a skateboard and Bella just road on the back Zack's bike. We went back to our route to school and got home. No one said a word. I kinda wished some psycho popped out of nowhere so the way so I would have the excuse to beat someone up.

We slowed in front of the house and threw our stuff in the garage. Zack unlocked the door and we went up to my room. Dad wasn't home yet so we had a bit of time before he was home to yell at me. I sat at my desk, Bella sat on my couch, Zack sat on the floor next to me, and Issac sat on my bed. We were all quiet.

My room was pretty cozy. I had black curtains that blocked out the sun in the morning. Black and white bed frame and blankets. and A black bean bag. I had a white dresser, desk, and nightstand. I had sketches all over my desk and dresser and a pile of blankets in the other corner.

That sucked . . . if only she hadn't provoked me . . .

"Don't blame Hannah for getting you upset." Zack said. He knows me so well.

"If she hadn't started shit-" I started but Bella threw a pillow in my face. I grabbed and chucked it right back at her.

"Tiger," she said removing the pillow from her face. "this is one of the few times we'll all gang up on you. We really want you to come on this trip with us but if you get caught before we leave . . ." Bella trailed off.

I would be stuck patrolling the entire school without them. They keep me from beating people up regularly. This is the first time in a long time since I started this school that they had to contain me in the council room. If they weren't there, who knows what I would do.

"Sis, I love you but imma kill you if you don't come on this trip." Zack said. He leaned his head against my leg and looked up at me. I could tell he was upset. Issac did nothing but stare at me. Bella grabbed a blanket and layed down.

"I already packed my things for the trip. My mom said I can sleep over if your dad's alright with it. And as long as we don't stay up as late as we did last time." She grinned.

The last time me and Bella had a sleepover was months ago because we stayed up the entire night feeding off of soda and candy. I'm best at sleeping but I am also good at staying up really late. I have black curtains so when it was the next morning, we couldn't tell. We were watching movies when Dad came to get us. It took us a week to recover from an entire night of missed sleep.

I grinned right back at her. "Hey! That was the most awesome sleepover of all time."

"I literally thought someone was breaking onto the house when it was like, 2:00 in the morning and I heard the music." Zack laughed.

Issac hasn't said a word since we got here and it is really making me nervous. We eventually moved onto school and homework and what we missed for the entire day. It was getting late and everyone looked beat. I was talking about maybe making a souvenir basket for Dad when the man himself walked into my room.

Issac was asleep and Bella's eyes were drooping. Zack seemed kinda out of it too. Dad surveyed the room and walked in. He grabbed a blanket and threw it over Issac. He dragged Zack to the blanket pile in the corner of my room and laid him there. He left and I followed him, shutting the door behind me quietly.

I really might not get into too much trouble.

"I'll let Issac's Mom know he's staying here tonight. I already got the call from Bella's mom. But you missy," He turned to me. "We gotta talk before you party." I sighed. We walked into the kitchen and he made me hot chocolate. He set it down in front of me and looked me in the eye.

Barely anyone looked me in the eye besides the chosen five. A.K.A. Dad, Zack. Bella, Issac, and Jessica. I took it as a challenge for dominance. "What happened today?" I sat at the counter and pulled the mug to me. I took a sip to stall some time but eventually unraveled the truth.

Great, here we go.
