We walked out and went down the hall to the back of the school. We walked down the hall to the courtyard and might have walked into a war zone. Students were fighting and shouting at each other, calling each other names, and holding each other back.
The teachers from Finn High were trying to calm the students down while my teachers were just watching with stricken looks. Finn, Ark, and the Finn University council were furiously talking to each other. Ark glanced at me and froze.
I kept a perfectly calm mask and walked into the courtyard. Finn looked at Ark then at me. The council stopped talking and looked at me. Issac shadowed me until we reached the group. James raised his eyebrows.
"How do you plan to fix this?" He asked smirking. He seemed almost smug. Like he wanted to see our school in a riot. I reached for my walkie.
"Leah," I said into the walkie. "Get out here please." I replaced the walkie.
"You need to control your students Finn," I said.
"I-" Finn started, but James cut him off. "We need to control our students? What about you? Your students are fighting too."
"My students will be put under control," I snarled. James looked surprised at the hostility in my voice. "I am curious about how you will get yours."
Issac stepped away and Ark did the same. He motioned for them to do the same.
I walked in front of the fighting students. One by one, they noticed me and every single one of my students shut up and walked away from their fight and lined up in groups.
The students from Finn University watched and stopped fighting. Soon the courtyard was split in half, one side mine, one side Finn University. I faced my school and frowned.
"You know my rules," My voice echoed across the dead silent yard. "You know better. But you still were fighting in my presence, there will be no punishment but let's make this not happen again."
Everyone had their head down. Finn, James, and his council stared at the obedient students, shocked at their transfer from raged to docile. Ark, Leah, and Issac just watched. Zack however came over and threw his arms around me.
"Take it easy on them Tigs, Finn University started it, they were only defending you." He said. I looked up at him in surprise.
"Defending me? How? By fighting with the school were about to go on a two-week-long trip with?" I asked. Zack nodded. He turned to the students.
"Why don't you tell her." He hugged me closer and rested his chin on my head. Jason stepped forward.
"Tiger, love of my life, we were only defending you and ourselves as a school. We didn't start anything, you should be talking to the blondes over there." He pointed to James and the blonde girl that was holding his hand earlier.
James looked outraged.
"They were hitting on my best friend!" He snapped. "I was only telling them that she wouldn't choose a guy like him." The pretty blonde girl came over and looped her arm through his, pushed her away which surprised her.
"Which clearly wasn't necessary! All you had to say was she's your girlfriend and we wouldn't have hit on her!" Marcus shouted.
"Your brain she is big enough to know that a girl like her couldn't possibly be interested in someone like you!" James retorted. "And she's not my girlfriend!"
"James!" I snarled.
He quieted.
"You're not helping. Your a student body president, act like it!" I hissed. "If you didn't want her to get hit on, you should have kept her by your side. I don't necessarily blame the guys since she is really pretty, but that doesn't mean you should insult them for it."
James looked away, his cheeks a furious red. Finn looked impressed and Ark looked proud. Marcus coughed.
"They also insulted you and that's what started everyone fighting." Zack lifted his head at that comment.
"Why?" He asked, holding me tighter.
"Uh, they said she was only president because she's pretty and that she probably doesn't do anything useful except seduce guys." Everyone was quiet.
