Chapter 9 - The Ninth

The buses unloaded and kids in uniforms exactly like ours, but in red, piled out. Finn and Ark greeted each other as I watch from outside. Kids stared at Ark in his gym outfit. Finn raised his eyebrows. He had golden hair with blue eyes. He looked about 6'0" tall, which meant he was in equal height with our own 6'0" Principal. Ark laughed.

"You could get a real sweat from cleaning!"

Finn laughed a throaty chuckle. The students from Finn High were studying mine. Finn High is more of a boarding school than an academy like ours, but both schools were pretty expensive. These student seemed to all be from good families and a startling amount were really good-looking. I noticed a golden-haired boy that looked like a replica of Finn but a lot younger. Finn waved him forward.

"This is my son James." Finn said. "President of our council."

James looked like a Ken doll, without a doubt. With the perfect tan and everything, white teeth, chiseled chin, and gorgeous blue eyes.

I almost threw up when I saw him. It was not surprising to see him push away a pretty blonde who was trying to cling to him. She was like a Barbie but with green eyes.

"Well," Ark said, he waved his arm to my council waiting on the top of the steps. "Let's greet our council." Ark started up the steps and Finn followed. It wasn't a big amount of students, but the barely all fit onto our front patio.

The girls and boys snapped tight to attention when they saw Zack and Issac. I now understood why they all looked nice this morning. All the girls were glaring at Bella and she shrank behind Zack. He chuckled.

The students from Finn High actually looked kind of excited, well all the girls had their eyes glued to Zack and Issac. Hannah walked down the hall to the doors past me. She smiled as she past me and it actually seemed to be a genuine smile.

"Ah," Ark said when Hannah stepped out. "Hannah just transferred. She is from London so she will be heading back right after, she was a volunteer to help with the trip."

The boys from Finn University suddenly took interest. I smirked, were they in for a treat.

"This is our student council," He explained. "This is Bella, the secretary." Bella waved timidly. "Zack, the treasurer." Zack grinned and a few girls squealed. I kinda wanted to throw up again. "And my son Issac, the vice-president." Issac waved and the girls looked like they were dreaming that he was waving for them only.

Finn looked a little surprised.

"Not the president?" Finn asked.

"Yes, where is your President?" James asked. He turned around and whispered "Guy's" and waved forward three boys who lined up next to him. "This is Asher, Gavin, and Ryder." He motioned each one to match their names. "Vice-president, secretary, and treasurer."

Asher has light brown hair that was fluffy and dark brown eyes. Gavin has short straight black hair and black eyes. Ryder has brown-blonde hair that is short and spiked.

"Nice to meet you," Bella almost mumbled.

"Bella, sweetie, don't be shy." Zack said. The girls eyes narrowed to slits and Bella hid even more.

James laughed. "I don't blame the girls, these are a pair of good-looking boys." Finn laughed. "I agree."

Zack stuck his hands in his pockets and Issac was leaning against the wall. They both chuckled a "Thank you".

"Where's your president? Is he out?" Finn asked. Ark smirked and waved for me to come out.

"She's right here." Ark said. I could hear the smile in his voice. He knew it pissed me off when people assumed I was a guy. But I put on a smile and Issac opened the door for me.

I stepped out and Finn University froze. The boy's dropped their jaws and the girls noticed that me and Zack looked exactly alike.

Finn's eyebrows raised. "Who's this beautiful girl?"

Ark laughed. "This is our Student Body President, Tiger."

I smiled and the boy's collected themselves. I snuck a peek at Zack, and sure enough, he was grinding his teeth. He hated it when people stared. Issac is the only exception Zack has ever allowed. He caught my look and relaxed, knowing how important this was.

Finn University student council wouldn't stop staring. Zack looked behind him to see Bella trying to completely hide herself. He smiled at her and she came to stand next to me. The girls from Finn relaxed once Bella was away from him.

"Hello everyone!" I said. "Because of the agreement of our principals, you'll have lunch with us after the clean-up. My brother Zack and Issac will take you to the back and get your groups assigned. I'll give you a rundown of some rules and after, your free to explore and mingle with students from my school."

Finn nodded approvingly. "I want James to learn from you Tiger. You do a much better job." Finn and Ark chuckled.

James turned red.

I smiled. "I would be happy to help." Ark pulled Finn to the door. I nodded to Zack and Issac who opened the doors. I whistled and my groups headed inside. I waved Finn High inside and everyone followed in. They all studied the banner and smiled at each other. Hannah strode up to me and whispered in my ear.

"The cafeteria is ready but the dessert is running a bit behind."

I nodded. Zack strode up and leaned against me.

"What's going on?" he asked.

"Just an update." I said. I turned to the school and smiled. "Zack will take you to the back while I collect your tags."

I turned to Hannah.

"Thanks, go with them. C'mon Issac." I walked to the office and collected the group tags we made a few weeks ago for our school. Now we had to split them. Mrs. Nadia was on a lunch and the office was empty. I looked for the markers so we could write their names on them when Issac stopped me.

"Can I quit?" He asked. I giggled. He grinned.

"The tiger is secretly a cub." Issac he joked hugging me.

"The cub is about to grow into a full grown tiger in about 2 seconds." I said.

Issac laughed and let me go. I reached up the shelf and tried to grab the markers. I jumped to reach it and missed. Issac just watched me with a hand over his mouth. It wasn't until his shoulders started shaking that I realized he was laughing.

"Don't be a jerk! Grab it for me!" I said.

"Say please." he taunted.

"Just grab it."

"I didn't hear it."

I grabbed his tie and tugged him lower.

"Grab. The. Box." I said. I let go.

He burst out into laughter and grabbed the box for me.

"Thanks" I said.
