Chapter 3 - The Third

Leah, Issac and I made our way to our first class just in time to have Livia piss me off. Leah giggled and headed to her seat. The entire class turned to see me and my cold look frozen them like ice. I tried to slip to my seat without drawing Livia's attention. It didn't work.

"Tigerlily!" She sang. " Do you like my new outfit? I designed it myself." She purred those last words because she knew she was lying.

You really wanna die don't you?

Livia was wearing black heel boots with a black miniskirt with a unique pattern that took me weeks to make and a white crop-top with a similar pattern on it. I gritted my teeth and tried to ignore her. That was my work. I loved art, that how Leah and I met when we were kids, we were at the art table and hit it off when we showed each other the art we made.

I use to want to be a fashion designer when I was in 7th grade and I made some beautiful designs. Me and Livia used to be friends before she hit what I called "Snuberty". Snob - Puberty. She stole my designs and her dad has a fashion designer make them for her. Then she flaunts them in my face telling the world she made them. I smirked and reached into my bag and pulled out a hall pass for the Principal's office.

Livia read the pass and snorted.

"What did I do? Offend your eyes with my beauty?" She laughed.

"Nope," I grinned, "Failed to follow school dress code."

Finally, I can get rid of this headache.

Livia's smile vanished and looked around the class remembering we wear a school uniform. She stomped out of the classroom. Jason and Nolan were laughing with Leah, and Issac just shook his head. I sat down and everyone else settled into their seats just as the final bell rang. I sit in the very back middle seat with Leah on my left and Issac on my right. The other seat next to Issac is empty and Jessica sits in the other one next to Leah. The row in front of me is all boys. I may be a girl but Leah and Jessica are my only female friends. The teacher walked in and the class sat up to pay attention.

"Yello! Today we got a new student! Please be nice, and Tiger? Try not to scare them to death." Everybody started laughing, but quieted when the student opened the door.

"Hope it's a girl," Liam said. He loosened his tie and pulled his hair back.

"Dude, no girl is gonna find that attractive," Jessica said. Her shoulder-length blonde hair was pulled into a braid today, which meant she had a volleyball meet today. I chuckled and the new girl walked in.

Hmmm . . . she doesn't look too bad.

She seemed to be around 5'5". She has blue-green eyes and deep brown hair that goes to her elbows. She is skinny and tall with a well sized figure and she has pale skin.

"She's not prettier than Tiger though." Jason sighed.

"Nobody will ever be prettier than Tiger." Nolan complained.

"Will you shut up already?" I snarled.

"Don't worry you guys, we will find a girl prettier than Tiger someday." Marcus said.

You guys do realize I am here right?

I rolled my eyes but the new girl didn't seem to like the information about the prettier girl named Tiger. The teacher had her stand in front of the class and introduced her.

"Everyone, this is Hannah, she is a student from London. She only came to our school for this time of year for our trip since she knows London quite well." The teacher explained. He turned to Hannah. "Do you have any questions?"

Hannah smiled, "Just one, who is Tiger? She has such a weird name, were her parents some kind of furries?" She laughed. No one was even smiling. "Tough crowd huh? What kind of name even is Tiger?"

Leah spoke up for. "It's short for Tiger Lily, you jerk." Hannah stared at Leah for what seemed like an eternity until she started laughing.

"Your . . . not even . . . that . . . pretty!!" she could barely speak between her laughter. Everyone was silent with their head down. Marcus and Nolan snuck peeks at me to see my reaction and whipped around when they saw how furious I was. Hannah moved down the aisle to the empty seat next to Issac who didn't even look at her. "What's your name, handsome?"

I could tell Leah was trying not to cry but sniffles where slowly coming out. Issac sighed, stood up and stepped firmly between Me and Hannah.

She was so dead.
