"It's been 9 years since I got here. Its almost like I'm inside a novel where Akron is the protagonist. Well, his background and past is the exact same as many others so..." After the years he spent with Akron , Thomas gained a better understanding of this world.
The place where the Ferzan province is located is called the Ark continent, which has a large area in comparison to the other continents in the Arkroid Star.
At seven, he would obverse the where some familiar constellations could be seen despite the slightly different angles.
On the west side of the Immense Scorpion Desert, there are four big kingdoms that rule over the continent's green land.
Despite the differences between humans from earth and the Arkrodians, both seemed to follow the same evolutionary path by living in a society similar to earth's feudal era.
Walking on the streets of Krumore, was Akron, now a 9-year-old boy.
He has grown taller quite a bit. His eyes were deep and filled with melancholy despite his young age.
After walking for a while, he eyes caught sight of old woman ahead of him who is struggling to carry the bag of grain back home.
Without delay, Akron runs very fast to the woman while laughing.
'Auntie, allow me to help carry the grain bag for you.' Akron says to the woman.
Hearing that, the woman turns around. When she sees that Akron was only half a size taller than the grain bag she says laughingly:
"Thank you, little kid, but I believe it's too much for you." Saying to here, she puts the firewood on her back again and continues to advance.
"No problem, I am a very strong kid. See that?" Akron looks at the old woman that seemed too tired to keep walking with that much weight. With a single movement, he picked up the grain bag and held it with one hand.
After helping the old woman bring the grain bag until her home, Akron headed back home with a smile on his face.
At a secret place nearby, two guards look at each other. They are some of the people the Lord put to protect his child while he went out to play in the city.
He is only son of the Lord that rules this whole province. So how is it possible for him to leave the mansion without any bodyguards?
"Young Lord is so kind. It's really rare for a person with such nobility turn out so gentle and good-hearted, yet he won't live past twenty. extend his lifespan. Brother, don't you think the heavens are unjust." One of the guards whispers to the guard at his left.
The latter nods and says. "I Agree. Even knowing the is not much hope in treating his soul, he still lives as kindly as ever. It makes my heart ache."
Back in the Kreuzen family mansion.
"Young Lord!" The 2 fully-armored soldiers kneel down suddenly and say respectfully.
"I'm going to the waterfalls behind the mansion." After briefly speaking Akron immediately headed to the back of the massion.
Soon he arrived at a messy patch of grass is enclosed by luxurious flower bushes and shrubs. A lone, broad tree stands in the back left, its branches form an almost protective roof of the garden.
A small mountain connected to a river and a waterfall. And a single boy stood right below the waterfall with a resolute expression in his eyes.
"Ha, Hya!" Training his punches and kicks under the pressure of the waterfall was the only way Akron found to suppress his feeling when he was down.
'Its four months since I last saw dad. He must still be searching for that damn medicine...'
After it, Akron went back for classes. As the only son of the lord, he knew very well he couldn't forsake his studies.
The teachers his father hired would taught him the fundaments of the Soul Force, an power which every Arkrodian had within their souls(Or at least most had).
He learned very early about his limitation. Arkrodians, upon arriving at an certain age could start awakening their soul force. It could take from a year to several decades, it didn't matter. Only when the Soul Force was awaken did that person formerly become an Specter.
The history books, didn't contained much about the origins of the Specters. Some would say it was a power given by the gods when their race first encountered a calamity, while most believed the ancient Arkrodians were behind the discovery of such power.
Once awaken, Specters could alter between physical and Astral Forms, pass through objects like air, and a few could even communicate with the dead. Pity nothing of this would ever apply to him.
.....
Day after day Akron kept the same routine.
Enduring the water pressure under the waterfall, practicing close-quarters combat in the wooden dummy, then looking into the library for any type of physical he could think of as he slowly training towards the time of his fated death.
Even if he had a limited lifespan, he wanted to show his father and family just how capable he is.
Due to his heavy training, his appetite was double of what it was before. His body his had grown taller as his bones and flesh his also transform at very high speeds.
The previous purple-skinned boy didn't look as harmless as it once was.
"Huh? What is that."
[Eh, the meteor shower?"]
Far away in the sky, Akron could see a thin bright dot. This bright dot turned brighter and brighter as it soon turned into a huge sphere of light.
'What is this? A star? Wait, it is coming at me!'
When he finally realized the trajectory of the bright dot it was too late. The sphere of light crossed the garden and flew straight at his head, both him and Thomas unconscious.
....
The same Kreuzen just returned to the city when a soldier came running at him
"Lord, It is urgent! Something has gone wrong with the young lord. He was found unconscious in the garden, his expression does not seem" Said the soldier in a worried tone.
Hearing the words of the soldier, Kreuzen's face lost all color. "What?!"
