George Seith came back to villa early since there was nothing special to do in his company. He decided to work the rest at his villa. He stepped into his home. "Welcome back, Sir" Maids greeted him respectfully.
"Where is Mia Grace?"
He asked as he got into home. He didn't see his wife in the living room, normally she would be in the garden, or in the living room, watching TV. Now she was nowhere to be found. "Is she in her room?" He asked.
Maki shook her head and explained. "No, Sir. Miss Mia told us that she will be going out to desserts shop today." George brows furrowed. "Did she go alone?" Maki nodded. "Where is that desserts shop?"
"We don't know that, Sir." George frowned. He didn't say anything more and walked up to his room. He took shower for 20 minutes straight as thoughts ran front and back in his head.
He did something he shouldn't.
He canceled the divorce.
He knew he shouldn't do like that. But he just decided to give a chance to her. Mia Grace might become the woman who fit the position of his wife. And he wanted to find out about those weird feelings.
Depended on how he reacted whenever he heard Mia went out and didn't say where she was going, he could tell that he was unsure of letting Mia went outside alone.
What if some guys approached his wife?
George shook his head, he should not like Mia Grace. She gave him many troubles. But still she was on his mind every second. Her soft eyes, warm smile, cute laugh, everything, everything about her was driving him crazy.
He didn't want to admit it.
George changed into simple white t-shirt and grey pants. He walked down to the living room and sat down on the couch, waited for his wife. "Don't come outside and stay in your rooms. Just come outside when it is dinner time. Now go"
He ordered all the people in the villa as people obeyed. He wanted to talk alone with Mia Grace. Seconds and minutes passed, yet he didn't even see Mia Grace's shadow.
He stared at the floor with thoughts, what if Mia Grace got angry for canceling the divorce? No way, she must be happy. She loved him, she would be happy with the decision he made.
The sound of car coming into villa didn't cross George Seith's ears. He kept spacing out. The breathing sounds of young woman brought George Seith back to reality. He looked up at his wife as the frown tightened on his face.
His wife didn't greet nor glance at him even though he was sitting at the noticeable place. "You are finally back" he started the conversation, tried to make the young woman turned to him.
"Mmm, I am back" the cold reply from Mia Grace made him gritted his teeth. He wanted her to turn around and face him. He wanted her attention. He wanted to see her face.
"I canceled our divorce"
He finally spoke out. He didn't wait anymore to say about canceling divorce or else Mia Grace might walk up to her room without caring about him. He waited to see her reaction.
Mia froze at the place, her eyes widened as she couldn't believe her ears. She turned around and faced her husband. "What?! What do you mean with that?! What are you talking about?!" She asked with furrowed eyebrows.
George remained silent, he bit his lips.
Even himself didn't know why he canceled the divorce. He just wanted to cancel. Did he perhaps fall for her? Did he perhaps want her to be his? Did he finally get feelings for his wife? There were questions in his head.
"Why did you do that? You don't love me and I don't love you! So why?!"
Mia questioned furiously.
She didn't understand the male lead's mind. Why would he do that? He had to be with Dean Silas. She didn't want to change the original novel. She wanted a simple life with luxury, not with problems.
What if she had to face with death because she changed the whole novel? If the novel plot changed, she couldn't see nor know what will happen in the future. It would be a walk in dark with her eyes closed.
She must divorce George Seith. She wasn't happy in this villa. People in the villa were good and fun to get along but the problem was the house owner, George Seith.
Marrying him was a punishment for her. She couldn't even go out with another man. Mia wanted to cry at the place. 'What's wrong with you, George Seith!' she cried out in her head. She wanted to rip him apart and see what was going on in his head.
George frowned, he didn't like the reaction of his wife. Her words were like a dagger, stabbed his heart for thousand times. "But you said you love me, shouldn't you be happy now that I am giving you a chance?"
He didn't lower his pride and spoke as if he didn't want to cancel the divorce either. Mia gritted her teeth as she rolled her eyes really hard.
'I swear..'
"No! I already said my feelings for you are dead. There is no love for you. Don't tell like I should thank you and kiss your feet for this! So divorce me right now! I want to divorce! I don't want this life! Marrying you is exactly the same with staying in prison!"
Mia cried out without noticing the heart breaking face of her husband.
'You fool. You always blamed Mia Grace for doing nothing but caring for you! I hate you so much, George Seith. Mia Grace loved you and yet you pushed her away! Now you want her? Suck it up.. That's why I hate love things'
She hissed.
"This is a chance.."
George mumbled. "What?" "A chance for you to be my wife again" Mia gritted her teeth, how could he say like that? 'Are you a fool?!' she shouted at him in her mind. "What makes you think I will agree to it? Didn't you push me away everytime?
Did you come to hospital when I ate the shrimps just for your attention? Have you ever looked at me with full of love? Did you treat me like a wife for once though? You even confirmed your friends that I am just a tool for your fucking success!!"
Mia exploded.
The words were meant to be from Mia Grace. George Seith needed to know that Mia Grace only wanted his love, just for once. Mia admitted that Mia Grace was a brat in the beginning.
But she just wanted to taste the true love. She was just a normal girl who wanted love. Mia Grace was a pitiful girl. So why pushed her away while she gave her full attention to him? And now he wanted her to be his wife while telling he was giving a chance?
No, Mia Grace was dead.
There was no love nor affection for George Seith. The body, heart and brain might be Mia Grace's but feelings came from Mia Clark. She couldn't force to love George Seith just because she was in Mia Grace's body.
She would never give love to a man who didn't deserve her at all.
George Seith was silent the whole time. He listened to his wife's words. She was right, he used her for the success. She was a tool for him, nothing precious nor important. He thought hardly for the decision.
"Don't tell me you fell for me! Pff- ahaha" Mia laughed at her husband.
She didn't want to laugh nor mock, but she was willing to do whatever it took to divorce him. She knew the male lead ofc. George Seith, he was full of pride. He would never bow to a love. He wasn't the type of man to lower his pride for love.
George clenched his fists.
"No, ofc not. How could you think like that? I would never fall for a woman like you! You always give me troubles. I am just giving you a chance! You should be grateful!
If you don't want this chance then I will divorce you tomorrow as you want. It is not like I don't want to divorce you though. I was foolish to think you deserve to be my wife" he sneered and left Mia alone in the living room.
Mia bit her lips as held back her tears of anger.
'You are revolting, George Seith..'
