At the cafe,
Mia was waiting for her parents while sipping hot chocolate. Her bodyguard sat across of her with a stone face. "You, tell me. Do you believe reborn things?" she asked her bodyguard with furrowed brows. "No, unless I see it with my eyes" he answered.
"What if there is a boy who was rebirthed but doesn't remember his past life and a girl who rebirthed as well but she remembers everything about her past life?" Mia questioned again, she knew that her bodyguard would only give simple answers back like 'Impossible'.
The bodyguard stared at Mia, no one knew what he was thinking. Mia turned her head from the outside, she stared back at her bodyguard. "I think I will believe it. But isn't that heartbreaking for the girl?" he asked back.
"What? Why?"
"Because if they loved each other in their past lives, rebirthed thing would be the same with death for the girl" Mia eyes widened. "You, did someone beat your ass? You never took so serious when I talked to you about those nonsense" the bodyguard chuckled.
"Sir Theo and Miss Camilla are going to take you back with them right? Then please excuse me, I will meet you at villa" he stood up from the seat and left Mia at the table. Mia was stunned, she never thought there would be someone who would believe those things.
"Mia!" a woman's shout brought Mia back from spacing out. She looked up at the woman who was walking to her with a man. "Mom! Dad!" She stood up from her seat and ran into her parents to hug them as Camilla placed a kiss on Mia's cheek.
"Dad, I thought you two won't come pick me up" Mia pouted at her parents. She felt the warmth of the parents, the feeling was new for her. She never had a mom who would take care of her nor a dad who would acknowledge her as a daughter.
"I am sorry, that secretary was making me sign more works" Theo apologized as he hugged his daughter tightly. "Well, I forgive you! Now let's go" Mia grabbed her purse from the seat and went out of the cafe with her parents.
"So my daughter is single woman now"
Camilla spoke as she sat at the front passenger seat while Theo started the engine. Mia's bodyguard was in the other car, didn't interrupt the family. He went back to villa alone. "Yes, I feel so good after the divorce" Mia grinned.
Theo's frown tightened. "That assho- I mean George Seith, didn't he beg you to stay as his wife? My daughter is literally the definition of perfection, there is no way that dickhea- George Seith would let you go" Camilla glared at her husband for cursing.
Mia giggled at her parents. "No, we both don't need each other anymore. He got what he wanted. The marriage was forced anyway" Camilla looked back at her daughter with pitiful eyes. She was afraid if Mia might fall into bed because of the divorce.
She didn't want her daughter to regret the divorce. "Nah, don't look at me like that. I don't have any feelings for him. Don't worry, mom" Mia noticed her mother's eyes. She could see through her mother's thoughts and worries. Camilla smiled.
"Why would my daughter need him?!"
Theo suddenly shouted while driving, his voice startled Camilla and Mia. "You scared me!" Camilla shouted back with wrinkled eyebrows. "Sorry, I just couldn't accept the fact of you pitying my strong daughter"
Mia smiled as she laughed at the sight of Camilla glaring at her husband for interrupting the mother and daughter's conversation. She was happy, it seemed like the happiness was on her side in this life.
They finally arrived to villa. Mia was stunned by the sight of villa. The villa was bigger than George Seith's villa. There was a fountain in front of the villa, the most noticeable thing. "Alright, Mia close your mouth before files fly in"
Camilla spoke. Mia quickly snapped back from observing the villa and looked at her mother with a grin, she almost forgot that she was Mia Grace. "It is been months since I have been here" Mia smiled as she walked into the villa with her parents.
"Yes, it's been 5 months"
Camilla sighed. Mia Grace didn't go back to her parents villa usually because she was busy making George Seith fell for her. Mia linked her arm with Theo and Camilla, "Now we are going to stay together like we used to!" Mia excitedly spoke.
Theo and Camilla melted at their daughter's cuteness. When they walked in, maids came to them to greet. "Welcome back, Miss Mia Grace" they greeted politely. Mia Grace was a spoiled brat so the maids feared her.
"Umm, hello" Mia greeted back with a soft smile, she left the maids in daze. They couldn't believe their eyes and ears, the spoiled brat who everyone in the villa feared, just greeted them with a soft smile.
Mia decided to rest in her room since the maids had already refilled her room. She threw her body on the bed as her eyes tightly closed. She was thinking about her bodyguard's words. 'If they loved each other' the words repeated in her head.
She never thought about love before. Love didn't think about her too. That was what she believed. She thought Love didn't need her, she didn't believe Love too. How could people love only one person till the end? They only existed in books.
There was no man who would love only one person. 'Love is the same with knife. It will stab your heart when you can't keep it safely. Like my mother and father' she spoke in her mind. She lost hopes in Love because of her past life parents.
Her father left her mother.
They changed, Love always change. No matter how much they told their lovers that they would die for their lovers or won't leave their sides till the end, they left their lovers in the end. Mia Clark's father was an example. (past life father not Theo)
"Henry, did you have anyone you love?" she asked as she stared at the ceiling but there was no answer for that question. There was no one who would answer her question. She sighed loudly. "I am so stupid" she said to herself.
A thought of Henry loving someone made Mia lost in thoughts. She couldn't imagine that. She had never asked him if he had someone he loved. It was him who always asked her if she had or not. She wondered if he asked her because he found someone.
At the time, Mia's phone started ringing, made Mia snapped back from thoughts. She sat up on her bed and grabbed the phone which was on the table beside her bed. The ID made Mia smiled. "Hey!" she greeted with energetic voice.
"Hey! Sup? Did you really divorce that asshole?" Bailey Joy asked. "Yes, I just divorced him" Mia spoke as Bailey grinned. "Good, very good. I am glad to hear that you weren't lying to me that day at desserts shop"
"How could you think like that? I would never lie to you!" Mia shouted at her friend. "Ok ok sorry sorry. Anyway, you remember that I told you I will introduce you with my boyfriend?" Mia furrowed her brows. "Yes, I remember"
"Let's meet tomorrow"
"Huh? Wait you mean you will introduce me with your boyfriend tomorrow?" Mia asked with wrinkled brows. "Yes, why? You are not free? Then it is ok. Maybe next time" Bailey Joy spoke without giving a chance for Mia to speak.
"Wait! Let me speak first! I am free tomorrow, I can meet you!" Mia shouted again. "Oh, then meet me at 'Otic' restaurant at 7pm" Bailey said. "Why 7pm? It is little late. I thought it would be afternoon" Mia furrowed brows.
"Oh he is a business man actually so he is only free after 6pm. I can't make him cancel his works. Sorry about that" Bailey apologized. "So he is a business man? Strange, I thought he would be a chef or something. I didn't expect him to be business man"
Mia admitted. Bailey laughed out loud. "What the fuck do you mean with that? You never fail to make to laugh HAHAHAAH" Mia rolled her eyes, her friend be laughing at her like she was a joke. "Stop laughing. I feel like I am a joke"
But Bailey didn't stop. She continued laughing. Mia had to wait for a minute for Bailey to finish laughing. "Are you done, Bailey Joy" Mia asked. Bailey could hear annoyance in Mia's voice. "Yes, I am done. You can talk now"
"Whatever see you tomorrow"
"Hey wait are you angry?"
"Nah, I am just tired since I just arrived back to my home" Mia spoke the truth. "Alright then bye! See you!" Bailey and Mia bit goodbye to each other before they hung up the phone. "Tomorrow..." Mia whispered to herself.
