I personally was not a fan of keeping pet animals. I have heard it as a fashion in Earth. Is it true? I don't like animals too much. That made it worse for me as we were going through a forest filled with animals.
The animals stared at us but didn't attack. We were yet to meet wild animals which I was the most scared of in the jungle. I hoped nothing scary would appear.
The forest was big and we didn't have a map for it. Just imagining the view from the tower we had seen, we continued moving straight. We walked for two hours without talking much. The enormous trees surrounding us made me dizzy. It didn't let us watch the sky.
We came across a small river and halted there for some time. Luckily, our food supply hadn't gone out yet. We had a day's meal left. We ate hungrily and continued our journey.
We did come across some monsters in the way, trying to block our progress but we attacked them bravely and moved on. By then, I was too tired and really was in need of a nap. But Rock Flames was strict with continuing the journey.
The surroundings were good but the vibe of wild animals was getting closer. We were now totally inside the area of the wild. We travelled fast with the fear of meeting any animal. As we moved, we chatted to keep ourselves active. "Where do you live Oliver?" Lily had asked.
Oliver looked a little tense and replied. "I live near Blaze. We used to play together." He said. He was trying to change the topic. He didn't want Lily to ask about his family. I was the only one who knew his secret.
Oliver's family had died in an accident. Unable to move on from that fact, he was taken to an orphanage. There he lived for two years till a couple laid eyes on him. They felt sorry for him and took him home. Oliver found me and we played together all the time. There were a lot of similarities between us. Though he was an orphan, he knew his birthdate which matched with me. We both liked pancakes. We even looked a little alike. Though with so many similarities, Oliver was always excited to reveal and understand more of the life ahead and I was the opposite. We were like positive and negative charges together.
I remembered the childhood days as I walked into a tree and fell. "Be alert, kid!" Rock Flames told me. I got up and joined them back. Oliver looked tired and needed rest just as much I did. "Can we rest here a bit? I mean, I know Raptor will be free soon but rest is necessary." Oliver said. My hopes went up. "Thought you would never ask!" I delightedly exclaimed.
Rock Flames looked at our states and agreed for a quick nap. I immediately went down on the grass. Though not comfortable, the ground seemed to hypnotize me. "Well, I'll have my nap on the tree." Saying so, Lily climbed the tree and sat on the branch, relaxing. Oliver was lying beside me and before I could find out what Rock Flames was doing, I dozed off. I had a forested nap.
I was woken up by the noises of my friends. "I have found the exit!" Rock Flames exclaimed.
