I laid down on my bed, reviewing what happened in the dining room.
That was so embarrassing.
"Ogling a guy that hasn't shown the slight interest in you, It's something you detest other girls for doing. You are crazy. Great now I'm talking to myself," I sighed audibly.
"Yeah, it was so embarrassing," Xander said.
I turned seeing Xander on one of my couches. "Oh, is you. what are you doing here?"
"Came to see if you were not so embarrassed enough to go through the tour."
I could tell he was laughing at me.
Plus, don't remind me," I replied.
Laughing more openly, he said, "I'm used to the ways girls act around us, but yours? when you saw him was classic."
You had your mouth open, I could see drools at the side of your lips.
My eyes widened at him. "I didn't drool!"
"You did, I saw it."
I didn't, I denied.
Agree to disagree then. He shrugged.
"You said I'm your best friend right?" I asked.
When I saw his go-ahead nod, I continued, "can you keep a secret?"
"Well, I tell my twin everything, but as my best friend, you get an affinity," he smirked.
Be serious, I said.
"I'm serious, look this is my serious face," he said, maintaining a straight face. "I'm listening."
"Thanks, well, I was--"
"You are attracted to him, I could tell, I know he felt the same, it was like an electric charge in the air, everyone knew.'
I glowered at him. "You got to stop interrupting people."
"Wait, everyone knows?" I yelled.
Can the ground just open up and swallow me?
Xander pried away my fingers etched on my face. "Calm down, you don't have to be embarrassed, we are all rooting for you two."
"Xavier changed when he returned from London, we want his old self back. And he seems to react to you," He continued.
"Ugh, you guys bet on us, right."
I said, covering my eyes again with my hands.
"Yeah, we bet on how long before you two start dating."
"You guys are crazy, you know?"
"Get used to it. Also on how long Xavier resists."
How long? I asked.
"Not telling." he smiled.
Dragging him towards the bed, I started tickling him.
"Oh come on, tell me,"
"No, you, can't make me," he said, laughing out loud.
A knock interrupted us.
"Come in." I hollered.
The door opened and Xavier walked in.
Just wanted to remind you of the tour. he stopped talking. He stopped, looking down at us.
I came to my senses, realizing I was on top of Xander, sitting halfway on his thigh and I jumped down immediately, not thinking before I opened up my big mouth.
"It isn't what, it looks like."
Damn, why do I have to explain anything to him? It's none of his business.
Xavier raised his brows and glanced at his twin instead. "Is it?"
Xander chuckled, "No bro, we were just playing being best friend and all."
I couldn't read the expression on his face. "Best friend?"
"Yeah, come on let's go Glory," Xander stood up from the bed, slightly pushing me toward Xavier.
I couldn't catch myself in time and I collided with Xavier.
He caught me by the waist before I could trip.
I still felt the zing where he held me.
