As Duri, Marcus, and Hyriod set sail for Graiigreald from Arstag, the king of Graiigreald, Michael, felt a rift in his psyche. His identity as a single being with three parts was dissolving. Each part grew more and more independent. Then he saw it. He saw it in his dreams, or rather, nightmares. His eternal conflict. The March of Chaos. Once he realised his situation, a ripple erupted from him. Everyone who was brought back understood. The two ideas were annihilated. Peace didn't beat Chaos, it just froze it. And now it had broken free. But this time, in Arstag. Michael was now gone, erased from existence, leaving Titus, Aace, and Issac.
While on there way, Duri, Marcus, and Hyriod are hit by a strong wind blew them off course.
"Captain! Where are we heading?" shouted Hyriod.
"We seem to be coming on the Dragon Isles!"
The three men made there way into the harbor and onto the shore. As they exited the boats, a man in stunning silver armor approached them.
"Good to meet you, the three of Arstag."
A confused and inquisitive Duri asked, "What do you mean, three of Arstag?"
"Each continent has three heroes that rise above the others. They each represent Three parts of a larger whole. Follow me to the Castle of Destiny."
The three men followed the knight. Upon reaching the Castle, they stood awestruck at the majesty of the structure. As the knight bade them inside, they gazed upon the large paintings covering the massive walls. They saw battles, arrivals, deaths, and prophesy. As they reached the end, they saw with their very eyes the appearance of their arrival in the painting. They couldn't quite comprehend what was occurring before another painting revealed itself. An army, marching forward, a void following. In it they spotted Lord Jor, King Byrion, and Commander Adis.
"My good men, what you gaze upon is the March of Chaos. The man here in the center is Cromwell. He is the catalyst of Choas from the original land. On his right is Mortimer, his left Hannibal. Next to them are Lord Pierre and King Failer. Across that painting is the March of Peace. King Michael, Regent Titus, King Aace, King Isaac. Next to them are Lord John, the Knight's Company, and the Cardinal Kings. You have travelled far and must still go further. Rest now."
After a long needed rest, Duri, Marcus, and Hyriod set sail for Graiigreald. After roughly a day of sailing, they landed in Sillsing. After the Final Battle, all heroes were resurrected.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the heroes of Graiigreald. I am Regent Titus, the Soul of Hope."
"I am King Aace, the Soul of Unity."
"I am King Isaac, the Soul of Justice."
"We are the Knight's Company. I am Sir Peter the Compassionate."
"I am Sir Leo the..."
"Yes, yes we know who you are. I am Duri of Weinvas. My friends are Sir Hyriod of Durvaada and Marcus of Swordseat. We are here because our 'king' and 'rebel' king were sacrificing millions to the 'God of Death.'"
"Yes, we are aware. The entity you currently know as the God of Death was first known as Cromwell. During the darkest hour of Graiigreald, they called him Dark Heir, Void. He is the manifestation of the March of Chaos, or rather, its origin."
"So they were followers of Cromwell?"
"They are aspects of the March of Chaos. Just as Hannibal, King Failer, Lord Pierre, Chief Victor, and Mortimer are."
"So when the knight at the Castle of Destiny showed us the walls and we saw all those evil men, they are all, in a sense, the same?"
"Yes and no. Yes they are all aspects of the March of Chaos, but each of them have their own identities, just as we do."
"So is there anyway to defeat them?"
"The closest we came was King Isaac taking on the March and banishing it from Graiigreald. We all believed that we won for good. Until Michael ceased to exist. When the three Souls returned, we realized we didn't win. Then, word came that another continent came into existence. Arstag, the land of Chaos."
After Duri and Titus' conversation, the new Order of Heroes set out for Academy, where all knowledge from the past is kept. After roughly a month of riding, they landed in Academy. Marcus read the sign that was fixed to the front gate:
"Welcome to Academy! A wonderous place of learning and drinking!"
King Plato and Lord John got to the forefront and began explaining the Marches.
"For years, we believed that the land we created were ment as a battlefield for Peace and Chaos. What we realize now is that yes, it began as a battlefield, but after we 'defeated' the March of Chaos, it became the Land of Peace. Chaos needed a vessel since Cromwell was destroyed, so it became Arstag. Your histories and stories are only somewhat real."
"Also, what King Plato failed to mention is that since the March of Chaos has a more permanent vessel, it will still resurrect its aspects."
Hyriod was in an inquisitive mood and asked if the March of Chaos could be defeated. Lord John answered,
"Not in the way we would hope. You see, Peace and Chaos are two halves of the same whole. We can't have one without the other, yet they are polar opposites. To defeat the March of Chaos, we would have to sacrifice the March of Peace in order to do so."
The men shifted in their seats. What did that mean? Where they going to have to die? Would they lose magic or powers? They studied more in Academy's library until Sir Daniel discovered the location of a prophesy.
"Alright so what I found said, 'When the Cripple, the Beggar, and the Knight arrive in Graiigreald, the Annihilation process will begin. The Continental War will wage until the March of Peace and the March of Chaos are equal parts annihilated."
Sir Christopher then stated that if a war was coming, then they would need to prepare. This sparked an idea in Marcus's head.
"I have an idea. If the three of us returned to Arstag, we may be able to sow in the seeds of Peace. Arstag has twice as many people and if they all became part of the March of Chaos, we may not be able to stop it."
Isaac understood what they needed to do. Duri, Marcus, and Hyriod would return to Arstag in order to get as many people to leave before the March of Chaos ensnared them.
