From the damp cells of Dragonrock, the echoes of Sir Bartholomew, Aniakir, and Lord John are heard booming throughout.
"How? How did we lose so many? I thought King Aace beat Hannibal and Failer."
"He did, but that won't matter. It's just us now."
Lady Ellence recieved news of the Order's defeat. She collected herself, finding a plan to free her lover. She went to the Blacksmith to get a light chainmail. The Blacksmith fashioned her a tunic of Silent Steel. She took a blade of black steel and set off towards Dragonrock.
Lady Ellence snuck into the city at night, going straight for the dungeons. The guards were posted everywhere, making it hard for Ellence to get to the Order. She crept around a corner, but guards were patrolling.
As she tries to move around, she becomes more and more nervous. Her breath becomes loud and uncontrollable. Her steps seem to crack the ground they walk upon. She barely manages to sneak past the guards and into the dungeon.
While in their cell, Aniakir, Sir Bartholomew, and Lord John are practicing with the steel bars Chief Victor threw in. Sir Bartholomew is far better than Aniakir and Lord John, using two bars and fighting them both at once. Aniakir is fighting inquisitivly, learning Sir Bartholomew's skills and strategies. The men turn as they hear the cell door open.
"Aniakir! Your alive, thank God!"
"Ellence? How did you get here?"
"I had to sneak in. Come with me, we will find your belongings and escape this wretched place."
The men followed Lady Ellence into the room were their armor and weapons were being stored. They left, heading for Chief Victor.
The men broke down the door and rushed in, Sir Bartholomew and Lord John carving a path for Aniakir to Chief Victor. Aniakir stood quietly in front of Victor, ready to strike at any time. Victor lunged forward, thrusting his blade at Aniakir. Aniakir knocked the blade away, preparing his stance. The two men then engaged, a battle of skill against strength. Victor was a much larger man than Aniakir, but Aniakir was faster and a better swordsman. The two traded blows for half an hour before Aniakir dodged a powerful overhead strike from Victor. With one swift motion, Aniakir brought the blade above his head, swinging down and decapitating Victor. The men then set charges of Liquid Fire around the dungeon, lighting it and escaping Dragonrock. They looked behind as the keep exploded, falling onto the streets below. They gathered some horses and left for Sillsing.
The four heroes made it into Sillsing. Hannibal had not yet tried to take it, nor could he- the cities defences were almost impossible to impregnate. Then, a thunder. From the south towards the Dragon Isles. The entire Dragon Calvary, lead by the man on the dock in the Silver Armor.
Aniakir shouted to the remainder of the Order: "The Calvary from Above! We can bring the fight strait to Hannibal and Failer. We can avenge those who we lost."
Before Aniakir could continue, his horse fell into a small pit, throwing Aniakir on the ground. He got up while the rest of the Order laughed at him. The Order followed the Dragon Knight Calvary to Sillsing keep to make preparations for retaliation.
As the Order made their way to the keep, the Silver Knight went to speak with Lady Ellence.
"Have you told him? About who you are?"
"No, he doesn't know. I don't want to hurt him."
"Yes, the truth can hurt, but if you don't tell him that you're the Avatar of Annihilation, then you will hurt him forever."
"That's a risk I'm willing to take then."
"But it is a risk he is willing to take?"
After three weeks of planning, the Order was almost ready for battle. After six months of training, the Army of Sillsing was ready to face Hannibal and Failer. The dragon knights would make up the arial calvary of the army. Aniakir would lead the ground calvary. Sir Bartholomew would lead the foot soldiers and archers. Lord John would lead the mages. Lady Ellence rode with Aniakir, ready to fulfill her destiny and Annihilate the March of Peace and the March of Chaos.
Failer and Hannibal recieved word that the Army of Sillsing was on their way. They gathered the March of Chaos and rode south to meet them.
As the two factions met in the forest of Rodnest, the clashed with vigor. The Dragon knights burned scores of the March, racing back and forth between their ranks. Aniakir and Sir Bartholomew then met in face of Failer and Hannibal. Bartholomew took Failer, and Aniakir took Hannibal. It was the showdown of a lifetime.
The four men danced around each other, no one giving any leeway. Hannibal was the first to strike, swing broadly at Aniakir. Aniakir dodged the blow, narrowly escaping death's grasp. Bartholomew then leaped at Failer, but he quickly threw him to the ground. The two heroes were beginning to realize that they were not equals with Hannibal and Failer. They had to resort to dodging attacks and planning each strike with the utmost caution.
While the leaders fought, Lord John, Lady Ellence, and the Silver Knight battled through the March. As they made their way through, Lady Ellence saw that Aniakir and Bartholomew were losing to Hannibal and Failer. She knew she had to act, but she didn't want to leave Aniakir. But she couldn't let him die. She dove down the hill, clasping her hands together, releasing a bright wave of light. The light was just bright enough to partially blind Hannibal and Failer. With the distraction working, Bartholomew and Aniakir leaped at Hannibal and Failer, burying their swords into the two Kings. They fell, dead, along with the rest of the March of Chaos. Then Bartholomew began to fade away, as did Lord John. Aniakir was frightened, the men he had grown to admire where disappearing, and Lady Ellence was nowhere to be found. He search until he found her, a single arrow in her chest. She had seen the arrow and released her power when it hit her. The March of Chaos and the March of Peace where gone. Lady Ellence was dead, and Aniakir was alone.
Aniakir took one of the horses reigns and fashioned a noose. He threw it into the tree, and hung himself.
