Aniakir and the rest of the Order of Heroes met in Grand Capital. King Aace was the first to speak.
"The March of Chaos still outnumbers us fifteen to one. We need a way to beat them without losing hundreds of thousands of men."
The Order shuffled. They bounced strategies between one another. Aniakir stood to speak to the Order.
"I'm not ready for battle. I can handle myself and maybe a few trained men, but I can't fight them like you can. Let me lead the people away to safety."
"Aniakir, I've trained you myself, you can handle this. Fear cannot rule the day."
"Lady Athena is right. Hannibal is at the helm. I've fought him. I beat him when I became him. I cannot beat him on my own, I need as many with me as possible. Are you with me?"
"I am, King Aace, I am."
The men drew up their battle plans. Word came in that the March had landed on the shores just south of Lion's Point. Hannibal was at the helm as they marched towards Grand Capital. The Order of Heroes set out to meet them. The two armies met just below the mountain Grand Capital rests upon. With a flurry of arrows raining down as battlecries from the armies echoed throughout the valley. Horses clashed into one another, men cried in agony as blades ended generations of families. Chief Victor the Vicious and Ivan the Brutal met with Sir Henry and Sir Nicholas. Ivan fought with Nicholas. His large stature made it difficult for the smaller man, but Sir Nicholas' perfected technique proved the better strategy. Sir Nicholas parried one of Ivan's attacks with his left blade, his right blade slicing through Ivan's chest. As Sir Nicholas rose to collect himself, a blade pierced through his chest. Chief Victor had cut down Sir Henry and went to cut down Sir Nicholas.
King Aace, King Isaac, and Regent Titus banded together as they fought through the hoards of the March of Chaos. King Failer, Lord Pierre, and Hannibal met them and they engaged in battle. Titus clashed with Pierre, and the two men danced around one another. Lord Pierre was ill-prepared to face Titus and he fell to his blade. Isaac fought with King Failer, each blow between them equal in power and skill. Aace dueled with his old nemesis, each blow seemed to have to have the weight of the world upon it. But Hannibal was better than he was. Aace tried to parry away Hannibal's blade, but he couldn't. Hannibal's blade pierced Aace's heart, and the Unifier fell. Isaac was far outclassed by Failer, and Failer ran him through, leaving him dead on the ground.
Hoards of arrows flew through the battlefield, Sir Daniel was hit in the leg causing him to fall of his horse, bashing his head on the ground, killing him. Sir Leo fought with Mortimer, but Mortimer's craftiness gave him the battle. Sir John came through, quickly decapitating Mortimer.
More arrows came flying through. Sir Zion and Lady Athena fall to Failer. Titus tried to face down Failer, but Failer's superior bladesmenship proved to much for Isaac. Aniakir fought, each encounter seemed closer to death than the last. The Order of Heroes was down to Aniakir, Sir Bartholomew, Sir Simon, the Cardinal Kings, Sir Steven, Lord John, and Sir Peter. The March of Chaos stood around the Order.
"Give up, Aniakir. We have the Order surrounded," demanded Hannibal
"Who said he was in charge?" inquired King Bonaparte.
"He is the one we need to speak to. Now, will you surrender?"
"Yes," said Aniakir, defeated.
"Execute all but Sir Bartholomew, Aniakir, and Lord John."
Failer then rode in, the Order preparing to stand their ground. They fell to Failer's blade, leaving Aniakir, Sir Bartholomew, and Lord John. Chief Victor then took them as prisoners.
