CRASH! Aace had fallen into a hole when going up the mountain. He got up and looked around to find himself in what looked like a dungeon. He looked through, finding gold, jewels, and paintings. He then entered a room where a rusty sword with a wolf's head on the pommel was sheathed in a pillar. He then heard a loud rumbling. It was horses. He grabbed the sword and got out of the dungeon, near a place the people of Graiigreald called the Misted Lake.
When he exited the dungeon, two armies stood on the slopes above him. He took note of the leaders who each gave a sign for who to fight for. One knight next to the king had compassion in his eyes while the knight on the opposite side was cold and fearful.
Choosing to fight for the king on his right, with the compassionate knight, he gave his signal. The armies then clashed in the valley below them.
Aace was caught in the middle with the knight who said his name was Sir Peter. They fought side by side, revealing in the speed of battle.
"You seen to know how to handle a sword, commoner"
"My name is Aace, and my father taught me how to use a sword."
"Well lucky you had a father to teach you. I was trained by King Failer."
"So if we're fighting for King Failer, then who are we fighting?"
"We are fighting Chief Victor the Vicious, and his chief knight Ivan the Brutal."
Just then Ivan came towards the men. A group of Failer's men had joined them, and Ivan swung at them with his massive claymore. Aace ran to block it when Sir Peter cried, "don't you fool, he will cut right through that rusty blade!"
"Then I'm gonna need a sword!" Aace responded swinging to block Ivan's attack. When the blades connected, the rust flew off the sword and it shone with a star-like brilliance. He then parried the blow downwards and thrust the sword upwards into Ivan's chest. The blood that poured from Ivan's chest was absorbed by the sword, and Aace then looked at the wolf pomel to then get bound to it. He then gained all of the knowledge and abilities of Ivan the Brutal. He pulled out his blade and went on to battle his way to Victor the Vicious.
With a newfound confidence, Aace attacked Victor who tried to parry the blows. He could not best Aace who then thrust his blade into Victor's chest, absorbing the knowledge he possessed. King Failer then came with the rest of his army after they had won the battle. He had seen how Aace defeated Ivan and Victor and realized that it was he who lead him to victory.
"What is your name brave sir?" King Failer asked.
"My name is Aace, I'm from Rodnest, a few miles southeast of here."
"No longer will you be a commoner. From here on out, you are Sir Aace, and you will be joining the Knight's Company, led by Sir Peter."
"It would be an honor."
Aace then knelt down to be knighted by King Failer, which was met with applause and affirmations.
