It's been a few weeks since I've seen Thendo and quite frankly I think he's avoiding me. I mean no man can go a day without talking to the love of his life right? Anyways fast forward to the present and I'm on my way back from school. It's the middle of winter and I've already started with my mid year examinations. Although my economic status is just under middle class my academic record is so good that it landed me a spot at St Matthew Preparatory College. It's just another private school in Venda filled with snobbish rich kids and wannabe Kardashians with an identity crisis. They call themselves the "Vendashians" a cliché i know. They're all very fair-skinned and petite. They all come from powerful and wealthy families. I swear the kids here don't even attend school for that education crap, their parents enrolled them here to keep them out of trouble and splurge their trust funds. The walk from school was long and draining maybe because everyone was discussing the school ball that i know i won't even attend. Just as i thought my day was bad enough i just had to bump into another arrogant, self absorbed, egotistical, overprivileged learner from St Matthews. "I'm sorry, i should really pay attention to where I'm going" he says as he fumbles to the ground to pick up my books that fell on the very dusty gravel road. Okay i must admit that it's very rare for a rich guy like him to even notice a worthless peasant like me. " It's okay, i shouldn't even be carrying this many books by hand either" i respond while kneeling down to help him. For a short moment we stared each other in the eyes before i stood up abruptly. "I'm sorry again for the incident Ronewa" he said as he handed me the last book and left. I stood in the same spot for at least two minutes while staring at him in confusion as his figure disappeared more and more as he walked. After deep contemplation i decided to run after him and he stopped." Uhm earlier on when you were apologizing you called me by name" i panted out. " Yes, you're Ronewa Luvhengo right? You've been the best student on the honors roll for four years now and you always scoop up awards at prize giving" he said. Okay before i knew it i was blushing like an idiot gosh I hate being this predictable! Pardon my rudeness the mysterious guy is Rhulani Mabasa, born and bred in Mpumalanga but came to Thoyandou for school. He's always been very quiet and soft spoken. He's very tall, a bit darker than me in complexion and is very masculine and well built. He approached me slowly and put his hands on my waist. I really tried to resist but as soon as he started speaking in a slow deep voice inside my ear, i surrendered and accepted defeat. And as they say the rest is history...
