I scramble behind her.

What? Have the Parson and Miss Carmin met before?

The Parson shapes his hand into a blade and strikes.
"Miss Carmin!!" I yell.

I get up and look at Ari and Maka. They're smiling.
I see a big snake black snake coming from Miss Carmin's back.
"That wasn't there before..." I said.

The black snake intercepted the hand blade.
"You have gotten stronger Carmin." The Parson said.
"My my Parson, where did your hand go?" Miss Carmin asked.

I look at the Parson's arm.
His hand is gone, and the snake bit it off.

The Parson looks down and smiles.
"I'll retreat for now." The Parson scoops up the sniper.
He leaps up into the air and leaves.
"Well, that's that." Miss Carmin said.
"How about you be my new apprentice Owen?" she asked.
