I gathered my things and followed Ari and Maka to Miss Carmin's flat.
"We're going to be leaving soon." Maka said.
"Why?" I asked.
"It's because of.. Manic." Maka replied.
Is the Parson from Manic?
There's too much going on right now.
Super natural powers? Manic?
What in the world is "God" doing?
We arrive at the flat.
Miss Carmin already packed up her things.
Ari and Maka take their things and store them into a weird crystal.
"What's that?" I point to the crystal.
"It's called a 'blank space' or 'inventory' ." Maka replies.
Miss Carmin takes out her inventory and shoves all of the furniture in them.
"You can store whatever you want in them!" Ari explains.
Is god toying with me?
"Here you go Owen." Miss Carmin hands me a inventory.
"You can have my spare inventory for now, until I can get you your own."
I take the crystal.
"Just tell it to open if you want to store items in it. Tell it to close when you're done." Miss Carmin explains.
"Once you've used it long enough, then you can open and close it whenever you want without saying it out loud!" Ari said.
No wonder they can open and close them automatically.
"Open inventory." I said.
The pocket started to swirl around me.
"What's happening?!" I yell.
Was this a trap? Was I wrong to trust them all along?
"It seems like this pocket acknowledges you as its new master Owen." Miss Carmin said.
"This never happens automatically you know."
The pocket's color changes from crystal clear to gray.
"The pocket represents your aura, or life force Owen. Isn't that cool?" Ari exclaims.
"Aha, yeah." I said.
I decide to put my backpack in the inventory for now.
"Are we all ready?" Miss Carmin asks.
"Yes sensei!" Ari and Maka said.
"Yeah, lets just leave." I said.
We leave the flat immediately.
Maka and Ari jump up onto the roof tops of the buildings.
Is that even possible?
"Hold on tight Owen." Miss Carmin said.
"What?"
"I said hold on-!"
Miss Carmin grabs my hand and jumps the highest.
Miss Carmin then proceeds to throw me over to Maka.
(Thank god she caught me).
"We're gonna do roof jumping." Miss Carmin said. "Don't worry about it Owen, the other building's spaces in between them are pretty small."
Maka and Ari already got a head start.
"Race you Owen!" Ari calls out to me.
