I stopped sharing.
Ari was at the brink of tears.
"That was so sad!" she wails.
Maka smirks at Ari.
"Don't mind her, she's always being dramatic." Maka said.
I laugh a bit.
I feel a bit annoyed after reviewing the memory.
"Thanks for sharing Owen... That must've been annoying." Miss Carmin said.
"Thanks Miss Carmin." I said.
"No problem Owen." Miss Carmin replies.
The one part I didn't share with them was the note they left behind.
Once I saw they were gone, a note on a ripped sheet of paper (from our note books we got for writing the alphabet, etc.).
(It was sloppy of course... Full of errors)
"Deer Owen,
Thank u for every thing u hav done for us.
It wuz nice meeting you.
Bye."
The education at the orphanage wasn't so great.
Most of the kids there weren't so good at reading or writing.
When I saw the note, I felt a little hurt.
We weren't as close as I thought we were.
I snap back to reality.
I look around.
"Owen, we'll go now." Miss Carmin said.
Ari and Maka have already exited the bus.
I get up and follow Miss Carmin out of the bus.
"Thanks for everything sir." I tell the bus driver and get off.
"Where are we going to stay sensei?" Ari asked.
"I hope they have good food and nice lodging." Maka said.
"Unlike last time..." Ari shuddered. "There were cockroaches every where!"
"I'll look into it girls." Miss Carmin said.
I look up into the sky.
"A new adventure awaits us!" I recall one of my friends say.
