Chapter 27 - The Angel’s Realm

Nieo stood in front of the arch for a moment. Ancient text spread all along the side of the stone, even as it curved at the top. Roots and vines had covered the majority of it, even covering up several words.

"What say you, my Goddess?"

The woman was now knelt behind her and in front of her companions.

"I give you my word, and a drop of my blood, to open this portal to Rahmiel."

Fenrir sighs softly and waits. Zero stood beside Obsidia who held a soft white flame in her hand.

"Then I shall open this portal."

She stands up and walks to the left side of the room and opens a chest. She pulls out a knife with a white blade, then walks back over to Nieo. At first she was hesitant, but she relaxes and closes her eyes. She holds her hand out for the woman. Within a matter of seconds, the deed was done as she now feels the sting from the blade across her hand before it slowly heals itself.

"Magnificent. You truly are the one."

She quickly takes the blade and stabs it between two pieces of stone. For a moment, nothing appears to have happened, but then the stone arch begins to hum and vibrate. As if it were a flower blooming, the portal swirls into view within the boundaries of the arch and glow bright, signifying both ends were now open.

Fenrir walks over to the woman without a word, Zero and Obsidia were clearly in awe as this is their first times seeing something like this. Nieo however was unfazed as she now remembered traveling in something similar.

"I know we just met but but I will be keeping my eye on you. For all we know, you could've lead us to our deaths."

"I know. That is why I shall go through first if you wish. Time has past within her realm and this one that I do not know what has occurred on that end since."

Fenrir silently agreed and watches as she walks through first, waiting for a sigh to follow. Nieo stood close beside Fenrir, worried her friend might have changed like Valoel.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Nieo?"

She thinks for a moment then looks back up toward Fenrir.

"We need Rahmiel's help no matter what we do. You've seen him use a fraction of his powers. These two are on a whole different level and I'm not a fighter."

Fenrir sighs softly before catching on to what she just spoke.

"Wait. Wha…"

As soon as he began to speak, Zero and Obsidia both sees a hand poke through and wave them through.

"It is time. Fenrir and I shall go first. You guys don't have to come if you don't want to."

"Well, we betrayed the one who took everything from us… So we shall follow you through."

Fenrir nods and steps through with Nieo. After waiting a minute or two the siblings follow behind them. It took a moment before they exit through the second arch as they are now greeted by a large White room similar to Archangels. Inside the room stood two Guards taller than the Arch itself. Both wore white armor, almost blending in with the surroundings.

"Greetings, our master has been expecting you Lord Fenrir and Lady Nieo."

Fenrir, still being in his wolf form looks up rather than being ready to fight.

"It has been a long time Gladius. I have brought the two she's been waiting for."

"Agaowen. Our master has been waiting but unfortunately there's been chaos in this realm so she might be busy."

"Chaos?"

"Follow me Agaowen. I shall lead you and our guests to our master."

Agaowen followed the giant as the two now lead the group through the white corridor. They pass open room after open room, each one empty from wall to wall. At the end of the corridor there was a large double door which was even taller than the giant known as Gladius. Fenrir, being known to be the size of a mountain felt no different being near the doors but the others each felt small in comparison. Gladius walks up and pushes both doors open to reveal a massive room. On one side across the doors there was a window that curved from one wall to the next and a table sat in front. Outside the sky was a dark Crimson color and a figure standing beside the window looking out.

"Master. I have brought your guests."

Fenrir felt an aura similar to Nieo's. It was pure and relaxing but was clearly powerful.

"Thank you Gladius. You may leave for now."

As she spoke, her voice sounded strong and wise.

"I was wishing I would have had this cleared up before your arrival. Lady Nieo."

She turns around and begins to walk over to the group. Fenrir looks over to Nieo who was clearly eager and emotional and nudges her.

Nieo began to tear up but within moments feel the woman in front of her take her into her arms. As the she held Nieo, Fenrir waited patiently for several minutes.

"I hate to ruin the moment, Nieo, Rahmiel…"

Obsidia realized this was the woman they were looking for.

"Nieo's father sent me to find you, as you already know."

"Unfortunately I can't leave. After I created this realm, the beings I created with it tried to rise up. Ive been dealing with them for a few hundred years now."

Fenrir begins to pace for a moment.

"Archangel… No… Valoel is getting too powerful. The world HE created is about to end sooner now that he doesn't have me to distract the God's."

She held Nieo for a while in her arms, letting her relax now that she's not being chased.

"If you can help me… I shall return to the mortal world once more and aid you in the fight."

Fenrir walks over to the window and looks to further inspect the land. The siblings sit down and relax for a moment.

"All right. I might have an idea of how to deal with them. And before you say it, I won't."

The woman smiled and sat down in her chair with Nieo in her arms.

"Thank you Fenrir."

So much had happened since the day he ran into Anubis that he almost didn't expect him to be in the same room as another Archangel and a Celestial being. Now Fenrir's thinking of yet another plan.
