I stare at the picture in my hand and slowly make my way to the couch. I slump down and look up at my dad waiting for him to speak. Maybe I heard him wrong the first two times.
"That's your real mother Edan."
"I thought you never met my real mother. From this picture you guys are obviously close." Tears start to blur my vision as I look at my father with confusion written all over my face.
"Edan I'm sorry. I'm really sorry for lying to you. I am."
"Stop saying sorry. I don't understand a word you're saying so why don't you start from the part where you told me I was adopted as a kid." I sit back and stare at a blurred image of my father.
He sighs and runs his hand through his grey hair a few times before sitting on the chair beside me.
