"Welcome to Berlin Brandenburg Airport." The airport is still as busy and loud as it used to be.
An air of familiarity washes over me, accompanied with fear, as I step off the plane. I never thought I'd have a reason to come back to Berlin but here I am. Everything looks the same, but yet so new.
I use my now-poor knowledge of German to ask for directions to the train station since the map is confusing; it's color-coded. I'd rather not take a chance and get lost. I'm working with time.
"Just right below Terminal 1. Take the escalator underground." A nice lady at the info desk finally answers. At least I think that's what she said.
