Chapter 5 - Chapter 4

Somewhere in Central London; in a small urbanized building Paul Bloomington along with his band mates Calvin Harper and Landon Johnson were waiting for Nathan to arrive so the band could start rehearsing for their world tour. Earlier in the day, the boys went out shopping in London's fashion district with Nathan's aunt and cousin to get some ideas of what each band member wanted to wear for the world tour. Since Roxie's return to New York, Paul and the boys have been mainly focusing on promoting the band's next album. Every so often either Paul, Landon or Calvin would start to think or miss Roxie but once the boys start working, all of the concerns about Roxie vanished. It wasn't until when Garrett started living with Fifth Avenue Square did things start to get more complicated. And for Paul, Landon and Calvin; the change was a sign that there wasn't a slight chance of Roxie returning to the UK.

It was strange at first to have someone else doing Roxie's job, but after a while Paul and the others got used to having Garrett around. However; Nathan seemed indifferent about the sudden changes. Whenever Nathan and Garrett were in the same room working on certain tasks for the next press tour and world tour; Nathan would either ignore Garrett's instructions or simply take matters into his own hands. At first Paul and the boys thought that it was unfair for Nathan to treat Garrett so rudely. They couldn't blame Nathan on how he felt about the whole situation. The girl of his dreams had left to go accomplish her own life long dream of becoming an author just a few days after she had got recently hired to be the band's new personal assistant. They just couldn't believe Roxie would treat her relationship with Nathan so harshly when she in turn cared about Nathan more than life itself. It was just a shock to Paul and the boys that Nathan and Roxie would end their relationship just when it was about to start.

"I wonder what's taking Nathan so long to get over here so we can start rehearsals! We should have started 20 minutes ago." Calvin remarked.

"You know Nathan. He likes to take his time with rehearsals. Not to mention he also had to make sure he was clear to leave The Smouldering Hog after helping out Tom and Uncle Hank this morning." Paul mentioned.

"I know that! I still can't believe Nathan is still acting like this when we're close to leaving for the press tour in the US. I mean the guy should have moved on by now for Christ's sakes! It shouldn't take you this long to get over someone!" Calvin retorted as he sat down. Paul and Landon then walked over to where Calvin was sitting and tried to comfort him.

"Look; I knot that it may seem a bit challenging at the moment for everyone but honestly; I think it's best for us to just let it be for right now until Roxie and Nathan reconnect." Paul explained.

"Yeah, and when is that going to bloody happen? In a few days we're going to be in New York starting our press tour and who knows if we'll even run into Roxie while we're in the US. If I'm being honest mate; the chances of Roxie and Nathan reconnecting at this point are slim." Calvin pointed out. At that moment Paul and Landon knew that Calvin was right. It had been almost a year since Roxie had left the UK and there had been no indication whatsoever on her returning back. Little by little the group was running out of hope that Roxie will someday return to the UK. The problem was nobody knew when that day will come.
