Chapter 15 - SACRED LOVE (2)

"With the family of patient Allam Afraz." Said the doctor who just came out of the emergency room.

Quickly Fazrani, Laila and Hafiz stood up and approached the doctor who was staring at the three of them.

"Yes Doctor, we are from the Allam Afraz family. How is Allam, Doctor?" Hafiz asked calmly. It was different from Fazrani's heart, which could not be calm and it was difficult to breathe.

"Thank God Allam was brought here immediately, a little too late, maybe his life could not be helped." explained the doctor on duty.

"But why it's been almost an hour since Allam's heart has not been there, Doctor?" asked Laila, who didn't nearly bury Allam.

"It could be that the patient has fainted with a weakened heart, or it could be because of an infection that has spread to his lungs, or it could be that the patient experiences torpor. But medically, the patient experiences blockage in the lungs that causes the heart to become weak." explained the doctor on duty with a smile.

"Have you asked again?" asked the doctor, staring at Hafiz, Fazrani and Laila in turn.

"Is my child okay Doctor?" asked Laila again with a worried tone.

"Currently the mother's child is still recovering, the infection must be cured first. So while the patient must be hospitalized for the next few days." replied the doctor again.

"When will my husband be transferred to the doctor's room?" asked Fazrani, who repeatedly gave thanks in her heart.

"Soon we will also be transferred to the inpatient room, please wait a moment." The doctor replied smiling then leaving Fazrani, Hafiz and Laila who could breathe freely.

"My God Fazrani, Hafiz what happens if you two haven't come? maybe I have buried my child alive, O God may God forgive me." said Laila with a face that started to feel relieved.

Fazrani smiled followed by Hafiz who laughed by covering her mouth.

"Fazrani, I better go back to the village to tell Dad that they must be confused looking for us." said Hafiz who felt that his job was done because Allam was fine.

"Hafiz, I'm coming home, right? I want to prepare a change of clothes for Allam and Fazrani, as well as come here again to bring food to eat Fazrani." said Laila in a hurried tone.

Hafiz nodded with a smile.

"Fazrani, did you borrow your house key? so mom can take your clothes." said Laila who had forgotten her sadness.

"Yes ma'am." said Fazrani smiling as he took the house key from the pocket of her robe and gave it to Laila.

"Alright Fazrani, mom go home first ... take care of Allam okay." said Laila smiling then leaving Fazrani alone, who was waiting for Allam to come out of the emergency room.

"I'm going home first Fazrani, and don't forget to start teaching next Sunday." said Hafiz a little awry with different circumstances.

"Yes, I will try Hafiz." said Fazrani nodding her head.

As Hafiz and Laila left, three nurses came out of the emergency room to take Allam to the hospital.

Fazrani followed the three nurses while looking at Allam's face, which looked pale.

Really, Fazrani's heart was touched when she saw it.

Arriving at the room, Allam had been moved by attaching a breathing apparatus to Allam's nose and mouth.

"Excuse me for a while. The patient's sleeping position is tilted slightly because the wound on his back is still a little wet." said one of the nurses to Fazrani.

Fazrani nodded her head very understandingly.

"Thank you, Nurse." said Fazrani to the three nurses before leaving Allam's room.

The atmosphere became quiet, with Allam still unconscious and Fazrani sitting silently beside Allam.

Almost several times Fazrani took a deep breath trying to find out what was going on. Allam Afraz is someone he just met with his character who doesn't talk much other than his clear eyes that speak more.

From the incident that night to this day in which Allam almost lost his life, he still remains silent with all his secrets.

"What exactly happened that night Lam? and what you have hidden from me?" muttered Fazrani to herself, staring at Allam's pale face.

As time went on Fazrani began to feel sleepy. With her eyes half closed, Fazrani heard Allam's voice moaning softly.

"Allam." called Fazrani while removing the oxygen cap on Allam's nose and mouth and trying to revive Allam, who was still half conscious.

"Fazrani?" said Allam trying to open his eyes slowly.

"Yes Lam." said Fazrani, smiling with relief seeing that Allam had opened his eyes.

"Where am I, am I dead?" Allam asked, feeling his body ache all over.

"You're in the hospital, you don't die." replied Fazrani with a soft gaze.

"Really Zra?" Allam asked in a low voice.

Fazrani nodded her head and smiled.

"Don't talk yet." said Fazrani seeing Allam, who had a little difficulty speaking.

"I can see you again." Allam said forcing himself.

"Yes Lam, we can still see each other." said Fazrani with a smile.

Allam closed his eyes for a moment then looked back at Fazrani's face.

"I'm afraid I won't be able to see you again." Allam said with a wistful gaze.

"I'm also afraid Lam, can't see you anymore." said Fazrani, braving herself to take Allam's hand. It really feels warm against her skin.

"Your hands are warm Lam." said Fazrani while gently rubbing the back of Allam's hand.

Allam closed his eyes feeling the soft touch of Fazrani's hand which rubbed the back of his hand.

"Your hands are cold Zra." Allam said opening his eyes again after a few minutes feeling the soft strokes of Fazrani's fingers.

"Are you cold?" Fazrani asked, intending to let go of her hand so that Allam would not feel cold, but Allam's hand grasped it firmly.

"Don't take my hand again Zra." Allam said with a pleading look, clutching Fazrani's hand and placing it on his chest which hurt.

"I no longer let go." said Fazrani with a heart that was even more touched seeing Allam feel his pain.

"Does it still hurt Lam? I'll call the doctor, okay?" Said Fazrani looking into Allam's eyes.

"No, I'm fine." Allam replied, trying to smile as he closed his eyes.

"But you look in pain?" said Fazrani with a worried tone.

"I'm fine Zra, don't worry anymore." Allam said, opening his eyes again.

"No Lam, I'll call the doctor." said Fazrani who could no longer see Allam endure his pain.

"Fazrani don't leave me anymore." Allam said suddenly grabbing Fazrani's waist and hugging him tightly, ignoring the wound on his body that had not yet healed.

"I just called Doctor Lam, just a moment." said Fazrani in a soft voice.

"No longer Zra, you don't feel my fear when I can't breathe without you beside me." Allam said in a trembling voice.
