"How about Fazrani? have you been able to master the children yet with all their characteristics that you just know?" Hafiz asked when all the students had gone home.
Today is indeed the first day Fazrani entered the class to teach. With her previous experiences in school, it did not make it difficult for Fazrani to know and understand the character of her students.
Like this time, Fazrani started to get to know their character and nature one by one by speaking casually but very touching with politeness.
"How about Fazrani? are you having trouble?" Hafiz asked again when he found out that Fazrani was still daydreaming.
"There is no difficulty at all. Fiz, I am used to the nature and disposition of children, which are basically not much different, There are only one or two children that I really need to pay more attention to because they still can't open up." replied Fazrani with a smile.
"Thank goodness Fazrani, I hope you feel at home teaching in this Kukung village, because I hope that with teachers like you, this school will be even more advanced." said Hafiz with an increasingly amazed look at Fazrani.
Fazrani lowered her face after knowing Hafiz stared at her face without blinking.
"Since my work is done, I leave early. I promised to help mom at the shop." said Fazrani, not wanting to linger with Hafiz which could cause slander.
"Do I need to take Zra?" said Hafiz, offering to take Fazrani home.
"Thank you Fiz, next time ... really I don't want to cause slander between us both, even though I know you have good intentions just to take me home." said Fazrani, issuing her opinion.
Hafiz's heart is getting sad, deeply regretting his attitude that did not make Fazrani his wife before moving Fazrani to Kunjang village.
"I go home first Fiz. Assalamualaikum." said Fazrani after finishing tidying up all her books.
"Waalaikumsallam Zra." Hafiz replied with a heart that had been hurt since Fazrani married Allam.
With a light heart Fazrani walked along the path which was slightly dusty.
When she arrived home, she saw Laila talking with Habibah very seriously.
"Assalamualaikum ma'am." said Fazrani approaching Laila and Habibah while kissing the back of their hands.
"Waalaikumsallam. You just came home from teaching, Fazrani?" Habibah asked with an affectionate look, her affection for Fazrani did not diminish one bit.
"Yes ma'am ... I went home early because I promised to help Mom with the shop." said Fazrani with a smile.
"You're really lucky Laila, to have a daughter Fazrani." said Habibah praising Fazrani in front of Laila.
"Yes Habibah, I am very grateful to have Fazrani who is very kind and always loves her family, especially very dear to her husband." said Laila with a grateful heart.
"Yes Laila, indeed Allam is very lucky to have a wife like Fazrani who can accept Allam's strengths and weaknesses. Because it must be like that the relationship of a husband and wife is complementary. Hafiz alone is still unlucky." said Habibah with a sad look.
"I'm sure Habibah has a better match for Hafiz than Fazrani." said Laila with a sincere heart.
"Amien, yes .. already Laila I'll go home first, thank you for the cake so this will be eaten later Hafiz. I go home first Fazrani." Habibah said to Laila and Fazrani.
"Assalamualaikum." Habibah said before leaving the shop.
"Waalaikumsallam, be careful on the road." said Laila with a smile.
"Fazrani, eat first, then go shopping to the city." said Laila as she wrote down some of the items she would buy later.
"Fine ma'am, I'll go up first." said Fazrani walking up the stairs leading to Allam's room.
In the room, Fazrani took off her hijab and veil and then went into the bathroom to rinse her face and changed her clothes at the same time.
After changing clothes and drinking a glass of water, Fazrani lay down on her bed.
Her gaze wandered over the ceiling of the room.
"O Allah, please forgive me who may have offended very kind people like Hafiz and his parents. I ask to give them happiness that is more than mine." said Fazrani with a really sincere heart.
"Drrrt..Drrrt.. Drrrt"
Fazrani's cellphone rings repeatedly, Fazrani just stares at her from afar without intending to reach out and answer.
Because the sound didn't stop either, Fazrani lazily grabbed her cellphone and picked it up with her slowly because there was no name on her cellphone screen.
"Assalamualaikum Fazrani." said someone there in the deep voice that had become the hallmark of his voice.
"Waalaikumsallam... Allam? is that you?" Fazrani asked, a little surprised by Allam's call, which should not have been allowed to communicate in one week, for that Allam's cellphone was on her.
"That's right Zra. I am your husband." Allam answered in a hesitant voice.
"On the first day you have violated the rules that the Village Head asked for no communication with the family." said Fazrani while pressing her temples.
"You are not only my family Zra, you are my wife." said Allam, who was desperate to pay a student to borrow a cell phone.
"Yes, Lam, and you are also my husband ... everyone already knows that, the problem is you still violate the rules of the Village Head and you know the consequences if the Village Head finds out? Your sentence can be extended and it could be that we are no longer allowed to live in Kunjang village. Do you want to be like that?" asked Fazrani with a heart that really understood Allam's anxiety and longing.
"But I can't stand it Zra." Allam said in a pitiful voice.
"Can you not hold back what Lam?" asked Fazrani, whose heart was even more touched by Allam's simplicity.
"I want to always see your face Zra, I feel alone here, the rules here are heavier. I had to get up early in the morning, get water from the well to fill the bath, there is no breakfast before the work is finished, especially you have to read the Qur'an until it's finished and really just can eat." Allam said at length.
Fazrani smiled to herself, maybe Allam couldn't stand it because he needed a friend to confide in for nothing else, and Allam already felt comfortable and believed in her.
"Remember Allam, you promised me to live a better life than before. And now the time has come for you to prove it to me. I believe my husband is a very strong person. With a test like that it is very small for my handsome husband to live it." said Fazrani in a soft voice that was able to calm Allam's heart.
"Alright Zra, if you think I'm strong with this little test I'm sure I can be Zra." Allam said in a voice full of longing.
"So .. you can keep up starting today to comply with the Village Head regulations?" asked Fazrani, who also harbored her longing with Allam Afraz's clear eyes.
