Chapter 3 - Chapter Three

Tracy

I heard voices, voices I didn't recognize. Where was I? I tried opening my eyes but they felt so heavy. After the third unsuccessful try I decided to just quit and listen to the voices. One sounded really angry.

"How long until she wakes up? It's been two days and every time I show up it's the same fucking excuse," the angry voice said.

His voice sounded beautiful and strong. "You need to calm down, Alec. Sam is doing all he can. She will wake up, and when she does you are only going to scare her with this attitude of yours." The second male voice sounded calm and kind.

I just wish I could open my eyes, I needed to know what was going on. As I tried opening my eyes again it all came back. Rian, Emily, purple eyes, running through the woods, the town and two amazingly gorgeous glowing eyes and the roaring. Remembering the roaring, my eyes fluttered open. I need to call Emily, I hope nothing happened to her. But when I tried speaking, my throat felt like it was on fire, the sound coming out of my mouth sounded like a croak.

Two equally beautiful pair of eyes was staring at me. I recognized one of the men as he was the one whose eyes were glowing, he was also the one who had growled. GROWLED! What fucking human makes that kind of sound! My brain felt like exploding, all my thoughts were scrambled. One of them stepped forward, he had short ash blonde hair, kind green eyes and beautiful full lips. He approached me as if he was scared that I would faint again.

"Good morning. I am happy to see you awake, my name is Quinn," he said in a rich, velvety voice as he held out his hand for me to shake. I shook his hand and I could hear a few curse words coming from the big handsome guy standing behind Quinn.

"Uh, hi, I'm Tracy. Where am I?" He looked at me and then turned his head to the other guy. I turned my head to look at him as well, he was really big, like 6 feet, with muscles everywhere. His left arm was almost fully covered in tattoos which looked like it continued out to his back.

He was staring at me, not even acknowledging Quinn. He looked like he was in an argument with himself when he stepped forward. I held out my hand for him to shake, but he looked at my hand like it was going to bite him. I pulled my hand back and looked back at Quinn.

"Have you seen my phone? I need to call my friend, Emily." I just hope they can help me get out of here. The longer I stay here, the bigger the chances were for Rian to find me. I started to panic again. I just needed to know if Em was all right and then I could move on. I had no clue how or where I was going to go but I needed to do it fast.

The big guy cleared his throat and I looked up at him. God, he was beautiful! I could get lost in those eyes forever.

"My name is Alec, your phone is in my office. I really need to ask you a few questions if you're feeling better." His eyes softened as he said the last part.

"Well, I am up now, and I really do not mean to sound ungrateful for your help but I need to call my friend as soon as possible and then I need to get going." I pulled the bed covers off just to realise I was in my freaking underwear. I pulled them up to my chin as quick as I could, but it was too late. Quinn was looking at me and Alec was looking at Quinn before he shouted for him to get out of the room.

Alec left immediately after Quinn and after a few minutes he came back and handed me some clothes. He didn't say anything, he just turned around and left the room. Well, that wasn't weird at all.

I stood up and put on the black jeans, it was a bit tight but it was not like I had anything else to wear. After that, I put on the white t-shirt, socks and boots. I wondered where he got the clothes. I didn't have much time to wonder. A woman opened the door and introduced herself as Fray. She looked like she was in her fifties but she was still beautiful.

She smiled at me kindly and asked me to follow her to Alec's office. I smiled at her and then followed her out of the hospital. I looked around as we walked to Alec's office. The town was beautiful. Small shops and little cottages were everywhere. I was still admiring everything when Fray called my name.

"We are here, just go through these doors, the second door to your right," she said with a smile before turning around and leaving.

When I came to the second door on my right I lifted my hand to knock, but the door opened and Quinn walked out.

"Good luck, Tracy," was all he said before he disappeared. I stood by the door, wondering if I should step inside or just leave. I was still deciding when suddenly Alec was right before me, pulling me into his office. When his hand touched mine, it felt like a thousand small electric shocks.

I could not explain what the heck just happened but I decided to ignore it and just get all this over with so I can leave. I took a seat across from Alec at his desk. When I looked up he was staring at me intensely. Someone else might have found it uncomfortable but for some reason I decided that I liked his eyes on me.

"Tracy, how did you end up in my town?"
