It's been hard to blend into this forest. There were goblins, ogres, spiders and other monsters that tried to kill me! I didn't see any wolves yet though. Maybe they aren't here. I also got a few skills.
But most importantly, where did all the food go?! I'm so hungry that I actually feel like dying again! I even tried to use my sniffer to track for any food but nothing!
Kou's stomach grumbled in hunger.
(Kou) "Ugh... I'm barely 6 months old and you expect me to survive without any help whatsoever?!"
And with those words, the little Fenrir pup passed out.
(???) Hey... u... yo... alri...?
Huh, somebody's talking? Can't make out the words though... I'm too hungry to do that. I can feel that I'm being carried by someone. Probably the one who found me.
Kou thought before drifting off to sleep.
A 12-year old boy takes a spoonful of his mother's stew and places it near the young Fenrir's nose. The pup's nose twitched. All before his mouth seemed to move on its own and take a sip. His brain jolted wide awake.
(Kou) "Wai-wha...?"
(???) "Mom, Dad, he's awake!"
Not long after, two adults came in. One wearing an apron and another carrying an axe.
(???) "Poor thing. It doesn't look like it has eaten for days."
(???) "Huh, it's gotten bigger than the last time I saw it."
Wait, that voice. It can't be! K-Kenneth?! The scary guy who chopped down that awfully gigantic tree?! Oh, no no no!
Immediately, Kou tried standing up. Only to fall down, moments later.
(???) "Aww, wasn't that just adorable, Kenneth?"
(Kenneth) "Maria, I don't think he did that on purpose. It's probably that his body got too weak to move properly because of hunger."
(Maria) "Then we'll nurse it back to health!"
(???) "But mom, can't we just adopt him officially? I mean, he's so adorable..."
(Maria) "Kent, it's a wild animal. It belongs out in nature."
(Kent) "And here I thought I'd get a buddy for once."
(Kenneth) "Hmm... fine then. You want it, you feed it."
(Maria) "Kenneth!"
(Kenneth) "Come on, Maria. Let the boy have his fun."
(Kent) "What should I name you? What about Asch?"
(Kenneth) "I'll get a naming tag."
With that statement, Kenneth left the room.
Asch... it isn't a bad name. I've got to say, this kid's got good naming sense. And what's a naming tag? Is this like Minecraft or something? A few minutes later, Kenneth came back with some sort of paper. It kind of looks like a contract if you ask me.
The kid's name was Kent if I heard right. Kent wrote something on the paper before the whole thing went up in flames.
[Notice: You have been named "Asch."]
Oh boy. Welp, I guess my name's Asch now.
For the next few days, I've started getting my strength back. Kent and the others have been really nice to me. Oh, and there was this one time where Kenneth used [Appraisal] on me. He was... shocked about something. Don't know what though.
I am now able to walk so I've been exploring their house. It was a fair size for a house. I mean, I was living in a small apartment. Also, speaking of [Appraisal]... I've been curious about something.
What was with this [The Prince] title?
(Asch) "[Appraisal]!"
[The Prince]
Those who have acquired this title will become the future lord of wolves.
...WAIT SERIOUSLY?! I'M GONNA BE THE LORD OF WOLVES?! THANK YOU, GOD!
