One word can explain all of it. Boredom. It's been so boring without Kent here. It's been almost 7 months since Kent left for school. I mean yeah, me and Kenneth get to have fun when we're hunting but other than that, no.
I know I said I wanted to live a peaceful life but right now, I'm itching for some action. Oh, I've also evolved into a [Teen Fenrir], which pretty much explains for itself. Right now, I'm around Level 35... I wonder how much more levels I need to evolve into an adult.
Today, Maria and Kenneth are going out again. They're going to a nearby village to stock up on some supplies. If I heard right, the village was called Aeston?
Geez, why are these bandits so keen on trying to rob us? Like, they have more of a chance robbing a bank than trying to ransack this house! As usual, I just knocked them unconscious.
[LEVEL UP]
Whoo, another level. I never realized it until now but... aren't I gaining levels a little too quickly?
I picked up the unconscious bandits and put them near the borders of the forest. I made sure that nobody saw me. Ever since the encounter with that lady from before, more and more adventurers seemed to go in the forest more often.
Maria and Kenneth told me not to let myself get seen by anybody since people can recognize a Fenrir from the marks on their head and their huge size. I walked back to the house, laying down right beside the door.
*Rustle rustle*
Hmm? What was that? It smells like a horned hare. Oh well, I might as well get a little snack since I'm feeling a bit peckish. Using [Size Alterization], I made myself grow to my maximum size.
The hare still hasn't left the bush. Maybe it was searching for food in there? Anyhow, this is a great chance to catch it! I slowly crept towards the bush, careful not to make any noise.
I lunged at the bush. I got the horned hare but... On the other side of the bush, I could see a party of adventurers staring at me with wide eyes. Oh boy.
They screamed in mortification as they ran away from little old me. They didn't even turn back to look at me. Am I really that scary? I mean, I get that I'm big but most dogs are big too!
After a few more hours of waiting, Maria and Kenneth finally came back. They bought some processed food for me, too! Kinda looks like jerky. Actually scratch that, it tastes exactly like jerky!
I kind of eavesdropped on them and heard that they decided to train me. Ooh, what kind of tricks are they gonna teach me?
