Pride City
A week has passed. With everything that has happened in that week Venna was finally able to sit down for a minute. James enter with a parcel in his hand. She had managed to get herself a chancellor that worked really well. He was no Lexor, but he was definitely recommended by him. "Lady Venna, I brought a message from Chancellor Lexor." He says handing over the wrapped parcel. She unrolls it and was immediately out of her chair, "the queen is on her way. This was sent an hour ago." She says suddenly feeling a slight headache coming along. "It seems he is still the only chancellor the queen has. If I'm correct she will be entering the city very soon. Let's get ready to greet Her Majesty." Venna says as her and James heads out the manor to Pride City circle.
The sounds of excited citizens drew Venna's attention as her carriage arrives in the city circle. She was a bit nervous since it has been some time since the Queen's first visit [the time she got her ass kicked]. She stepped down from the carriage and glanced around to see Gert standing on the sidelines. Expressionless as always. With the city rebuilt and the financial problems taken care of, Venna felt she could ask about recruiting more men for the secret army. "LadyVenna!" Venna smiles as Lady Brim came bounding over to her, she had arrived way before the Queen. "It's good to see you again, brim." she says taking her hands as if natural. "The Queen is coming. Everyone be ready to greet Her Majesty!" The excited cheers began as the sight of a royal carriage is seen coming towards the city.

I was finally entering Pride City after a week has already gone by. As I have promised, today was my first inspection of the large city as a Queen. The citizens were more lively and they seemed to be doing well. I stepped down and make my way over to Venna who stood with Brim. "Your Majesty!" The screams of excitement was loud enough to be heard in the next city. "We should head to your manor." I turn and to Venna as the citizens screams grew louder. Venna nods, she could not ask what she wants with all this loud noise. Just like that they took their carriages to Pride City Manor where Venna resides. Chancellor James directed the maids into making tea and snacks while Venna and I relaxed in the visitor room. "Pride city really blossomed since my last visit. I knew I picked right when I decided to make you leader." I tell her. Venna felt a sense of accomplishment from hearing the Queen's praise. "Thank you, Your Majesty. I would have not gotten this far if not for your letters." She says.
"I'm glad to hear that. Well now that I'm here. I have a few more task for you. So far you only have about twenty men here that can be apart of the secret army. Recruitment is crucial and so is training." I say. Venna sighs in relief, it seems the Queen was already ahead of her when it comes to train of thought. I glanced up at her realizing that she had been thinking the same, "don't worry things here will be ready. No one will know of the Royal Golden Dragons. Only those from Golden Dragon Kingdom will know. Ah, one more thing. Lexor bought five well built and well-trained men from the black market. They would be great heads in this army. So place them as you wish." I tell her. Venna bows her head gratefully, After an hour I finally stood to leave.
"The Queen is leaving!" Chancellor James annouce as I exit the manor. I now have to visit Farmer's City and then Eastern City. I climb into the carriage as Brim waved at me before turning away. It seems those two were staying. I nod to Gert before the carriage began to head for my next destination. I glance out the window a small smile on my lips. Everything in Pride city was going really well. The market was beginning to draw in the citizens from both Farmer's City and Pride City as the days go by. I even managed to get a few more merchants that sold high quality goods for those who make a bit more monry. There was no one like that just yet, but Pride City should flourish real soon. I think thrity percent of the funds should flow into the city since it will need the most supplies for the army there. I even managed to get a hundred more men for the Imperial knights that work at the palace. That brought the ten to one hundred and ten.
Things were running more smoothly than I had hoped. I wonder what Castian was doing at this moment? Even though, I have been avoiding him, my mind ws still filled with thoughts of him.
