Meanwhile....
Brim sweeps her hair behind her shoulder and smirks at the assassins who appeared while the queen was busy. Mangola glances back worriedly as she was holding up her scepter to detain these assassins. "Hey? Pay attention. The Queen's fine. If it's her she'll return to us safely." Brim snaps at Mangola who immediately turns her attention back to the danger before them. They need to hold them back, but Brim wasn't sure how much longer they could hold off against so many of them right now. Dammit, after that war she realized that their powers have grown weaker. So not to worry the Queen none of them mentioned it to her.
The least she'll be able to take down is sixty on her own, [this is still a large number!] With Mangola by her side that's a hundred assassins taken care of. But whoever sent them knew better and sent at least two hundred of them! Someone wanted them dead and they chose this exact moment to try to kill the two of them off first. "So who sent you?" She asked trying to buy time. None of them answer. Instead they were waiting for the barrier to let up. Mangola won't be able to hold on for too long. Shit! She blows out a breath and steps out of the barrier, sacrificing herself was better than sitting around doing nothing. Once the Queen returns and finds her dead, well let's just say these gusys will regret it.
"Ha, she thinks she can take all of us?" One of the assassins burst into laughter as Brim punched the one in front of her in the face at the same time. He goes flying halfway across the forest into some bushes. Damn, if this was her usual strength his head would have been smashed to pieces. She shakes her hand, and that would not have hurt either. The assassin who laughed suddenly grew silent but not before another assassin came towards her angrily and with his elbow drawn back. As soon as he swings she grabs his fist with her left hand while he was in mid air and with her right leg she sidekicks him in his waist. He went flying into the air until they saw a sparkle. She turn to them and cracks her knuckles with a smile that showcased her beauty, at least she won't go down easily.
Mangola watched as Brim took down several assassins but of course not without getting a bit hurt herself. If the Queen doesn't wake up soon brim might just lose her life. Brim holds her waist, her hair pooling in front of her face and her breathing labored. She was a bit dizzy as she managed to taked down fifty-nine assassins. This is not good. She was at her limit and her magic power was thinning. If she takes anymore damage it will most likey be a bad result."What? Not so cocky now, huh?" An assassin grabs her by her golden hair and yanks at it so he could draw her face closer. "Such a beauty, perhaps after I had my fun with you I'll cut this pretty face of yours?" He says cackling and throwing her to the ground.
Brim struggles back to her feet, she had one more hit in her and it seems she'll have to take down this pervert before anything else! Swings and slams her fist into his gut with the last of her strength. He didn't even have time to collect himself since this time her arm went straight through him. Mangola uses her water magic just in time to catch Brim as she topples over. "Thank you, Mangola." Brim says with a strained smile. Ugh. They dare do this to Brim? Those assassins will die! Mangola turned as if to leave the barrier, Brim grabs her arm before she could. "Don't..."
Queen Ranessa's Prospective....
I stood there finally able to get my soul back into my body. Wh o knew that once I opened my eyes the first thing I see is a beaten up Brim and Mangola who was trying to protect her and Brim with another barrier. I could feel an angry tick suddenly form as I made light of the situation. The little boy next to me looked arounnd me curiously at the one hundred men surrounding us. I walked over to where Mangola and Brim protected us. I looked down at the beaten up Brim and over at the assassins stil breathing. "After ai deal with these trash, you two will explain to me everything." I say my tone dropping to icicles. The assassin shudder at the look on my face and even took a step back.
I glare over at them, "don't even try to escape." I say angrily as my magic power blaze into an infernal frenzy. "Looks like....you're ...dead meat." Brim says through her labored breathing and coughing right afterwards. "Sh, don't try to speak." Mangola says feeling like they were definitely going to get scolded later. "It looks like the Queen knows something's up with us." Brim turns her head and notices the little boy standing back watching the Queen with sparkiling eyes. Ah, that look. She turns to look at her Queen. It's the same look that she had as the Queen fought. It's like watching a pheonix who's fire burned so brightly. In just mere second the Queen took down all a hundred assassins and not one was able to touch her.
"Mu new mommy is so cool!!" The boy says as he runs ans hugs the queen. Both Brim and Mangola's expressions were showing exaggerrated shock. Mommy!?
