Every day became a bit irritating after the warriors recieved their current magic power from the prince. He started to come around more often to see Bun Ji, at least that's his excuse. Since the port, fieff, and banking system was already prepared, I've been working on the very first store that will appear in Majesty City. Besides the merchants who's products will be cheap there will be stores that will have a higher pricing. Today was the day I will be meeting the new chef Lexor hired to make the sweets for this store. I sat at the table and waited as Chef Trini enters with a cart of mysterious trays. She lifts the first tray and lied it in front of me to reveal the first sweet, "oh? Is this made with that unknown fruit?" I ask. It certaintly looked pretty, it was smaller than I thought it would be as I tried the brown sweet in one bite.
It instanly melts in my mouth, it had a bitter but sweet taste. "What is this? It's so good!" I picked up another one and popped it into my mouth instantly. "It's incredible, not exactly my taste. but this is definitely a start." I say. Chef Trini blows out a sigh of relief, "actually that fruit that was discovered isn't a fruit but a cocoa bean. What you are eating is chocolate candy. Not only that, but I can make many flavors." She explains. So this is chocolate candy, I hear it's very popular in most kingdoms but I'm positve they didn't have something this delicious. Bun Ji came running into the dining area, "Mommy!" He cries throwing himself into her arms.
Mangola and Prince Ying came running in afterwards, both were now slumped over and exhausted looking. "The little prince is more than I can handle." Mangola says as she plops down in a nearby chair. Her gaze was immediately drawn to the tray of little chocolates sitting before me. She leans closer with this sparkly look in her eyes. I push the tray towards her to let her have a taste since more opinions were better than just one. "Not what I would have chosen." She says turning her nose up a bit. I turn to Chef Trini, "do you have a sweeter selection?" I ask her.
Chef Trini removed another tray and sat it before me, I pushed one over to Mangola after trying it myself. Her eyes lit up joyfully, "how sweet and it even has something fruity inside!" She exclaims touching her lips in surprise. Bun Ji frowns, "can I try?" He ask with a pout. I popped one in his mouth and watched his face lit up from the delicious taste. "So what's up with all these sweets?" Prince Ying asks. "I'm opening a sweet shop." I answer. He stares for a bit before laughing incredibly hard, "you will open a shop? Seriously?" He sounded doubtful. Not only that but I think he was misunderstanding me a bit.
I nod my head after agreeing to Chef Trini's menu, "I am, but I won't be the one working this shop, Trini will be." I say gesturing over at the, now, new chef of one of the empty shops in Majesty City. "Wait, but dont you already have a market set up in Main city?" He asked a bit confused by this. "I'll have a more reliable source of income, markets are only around for so long." I point out. Bun Ji jumps down off my lap and runs over to Mangola who was way too interested in the chocolate candies. "Duke Castian arrives!" one of the guards announces just as Castian enters the dining area. Bun Ji perks up immediately and runs over to Castian who lifts him up in one swift move. These two have become close every since Bun Ji became my son, he seems to find Castian way more interesting than Mangola and Prince Ying put together.
"Can I see your sword?" He asked excitedly and with round and pleading eyes. This has become an everyday habit of his whenever he sees Castian. "Sorry little Prince. If I show you my sword your mommy would most likely murder me." He answers. I glare at his smirking face, this guy has become very brave indeed. Every since he outed himself as a King and then tossing that title aside just to become a Duke, he's made sure he lets it known that I treat him specially. "Aww, I don't want mommy to do that so I'll wait 'till I'm a bigger boy." He says with a disappointed pout. Castian ruffles his hair before standing him back onto the floor, "that's right little man. You're smart just like your mommy." He says.
Well I guess if he acts this cute while with my son then it's not so bad that he acts this way. Castian walks to stand beside me and leans down to whisper in my ear, "I have news about your brother." He whispers. I nod over to Lexor who still stood nearby, he immediately understood and walks over to bun Ji. "It's time to go play little prince. Come on Mommy has to work." He says lifting Bun Ji and leaving the dining room. Chef Trini bows before exiting herself. Mangola and Prince Ying stay behind, "why are you still here?" Castian asks him with a frown. "Forget about that, what about my brother?" I ask.
"Yes, my Queen. It has come to my attention that your brother has managed to get out of Golden Dragon Kingdom. He was last seen on the border of Farmers City." He says. If that's the case then that means I won't be able to get any news on his whereabouts now. The city a few miles from Farmers City is Eastern City, so that means he will have to deal with possible magical Beast there. I tap my finger on the dining table, but the chances of that happening are slim. While there I haven't seen a single beast that came out in the opening, even though the magi there had been really strong. Could it be there was no beast and that the magic was no longer strong thanks to the fact I managed to get rid of that magic circle?
"Fine, we'll stop the search for my brother for now. Let's work on the Sweet Shop project for now. First is coming up with a name for it. Something like Sweet Shack, maybe?" I say. Actually I had this one on my mind for a while, so it wasn't something I just came up with. "Sounds sweet." Mangola says standing and stretching. "once the shop is ready I plan to be the first one there. Ah what about I search for some hires who need a place to stay as well?" She ask. I shake my head, "no need. Lexor already found a few wondering outside the city." I tell her. "Wow, I never get disappointed with that guys proficiency." Prince Ying says.
I look over at him, I almost forgot about him. "Don't you think as a Prince of another kingdom that you should go back?" I ask him.
