Chapter 7 - - Bing Ai -

He pulled Su Ming's body off of him and to the side, he then got up but he didn't act weak he let his breathing continue regularly but each action he took was precise and unsluggish if someone were to charge at him right now he doesn't know if he could fully fend against them… which reminds him.

'Where did Bing Ai go?' His first instinct told him that Jiang must've fought her away while the fighting happened. He stayed calm and then began to really take a look at the environment around him… and saw that it was more calmer than a fighting ring was supposed to be mostly because the people who were fighting weren't fighting anymore.

The fight between the two attracted the attention of a lot of people including Jiang who was on the sidelines watching the events gripping her weapons, she didn't directly interfere but by the looking at her sword it was bloodied and most people didn't seem to want to approach her either.

His eyes studied Jiang and he breathed a sigh of relief internally and continued to watch the crowd looking for Bing Ai until he reached back in front of him where he saw Bing Ai holding his cudgel with one hand.

She walked forward and presented him the cudgel casually, with a studying gaze. Dai hesitantly grabbed his cudgel accidentally touching her wrist while taking it 'So soft!' Her skin didn't feel like skin but it was still way better than skin.

He could swear that he was touching her clothes but from the warmth and the silky smoothness of what he was touching he was sure that it was her skin. Dai wanted to caress her hand a few seconds longer but thought against it, taking his cudgel from her hand with relative ease.

There was a momentary pause and then Bing Ai started to giggle, bringing her hand up to her mouth to cover it she then said "I see It appears I was right, Fighting you would be too exhausting of a fight just look at what you did to poor Tiny Ming." She looked behind him at Su Ming who was laying on the ground.

She continued while placing her hands in front of her face "Anyway, are you really a peasant? You must've done some kind of martial art right? Those moves that you did were so beautiful and graceful I wanna do it too will you teach me some?! Wait lemme guess you have a martial artist family?" She got closer to Zu Dai who was standing relatively still; he took a step back once she got close enough to him.

She sighed and then placed her head down like a dejected puppy seeing that he didn't answer, Dai could almost visibly see her puppy ears droop down once she sighed and then she continued "You must not trust me, But I'm gonna start help you starting right now!" She then pointed at Su Ming who was slowly waking up from his knocked out state and said this "He takes fights really seriously."

At an instant a primal fear surged into Dai and he quickly retreated away from where Su Ming was who was now standing. He instantly grabbed Bing Ai's hand by instinct and forced her to come with him while placing her behind him.

Dai took in the air through laboured breaths, he could hear his own heart begin to drum inside of his chest and the recent feeling of being doused in cold water didn't help his current condition either the burning sensation from his chest was now largely ignored mostly as a primal fear attempted to overtake him.

Su Ming's body and presence seemingly extended across the field as most people who were fighting turned their head to look at him, his senses told him that the arms seemed bigger yet Dai knew that he wasn't growing nor did Ming turn into a monster.

Dai took a position placing his cudgel directly behind himself, his thoughts surged he didn't know what position to take at this moment Ming's 'new' body seemed as if it could break the cudgel within his hands while continuing the strike to Dai himself… His cold sweat covered his hands like a glove and that the sensation spread to his whole entire body…

'What… Did he do?' Dai wanted to know the answer to this question the constant pressure on Dai was overbearing, he felt his body attempting to take over but he restricted it access and began to just observe Su Ming's body and his presence his mind rejected the idea but his overbearing well turned his mind to accept the idea.

He turned and looked toward Bing Ai who was shocked at being so easily moved from her current position "What is he doing?" He felt his lungs freeze but he didn't care about it. He needed the answer before doing anything else.

She got out of her in trance stance and looked up "Oh! H-He's ummm…He's doing a special martial art?" She then shrugged her shoulders while raising her hands

"Oh." He stopped placing his cudgel behind him and let it touch the ground resting on his shoulder as he began to attempt to control his breathing, the special martial art was assuming a aura that seemed to cover everyone even though Dai was sweating this was mostly the same for everyone who was witnessing the martial art however he was relatively better off because he knew that 'He can't do shit to me.' a smile crept on his face when he watched Su Ming grab a saber and raise it.

The tension within the air increased once su ming's foot slowly left the ground and raised into the air, it was slow and similar to that of a turtle moving his front legs but the only difference was that air got damper and Dai felt his cold sweat grow but his smile grew wider after that.

Su Ming's body just shot forward.

His figure blurred and the saber above his head was raised he shouted "Die!" While rushing forward his muscles bulged a huge vein ran up from them to his neck and to his forehead. HIs movement continued unimpeded until he reached Dai where he stopped suddenly stomping the ground and raising the saber even higher than it already was.

Dai responded with a careful smile.

Su Ming then stopped suddenly an even greater and denser aura took the place, a man on a flying sword flew some distances above Su Ming it was the same black hair cultivator he looked at the people on the ground and then waved his hand as an invisible octopus wrapped its grip on the dead bodies which were then dissolved. Then it went toward those of the living people.

Su Ming's robes around his torso started to restrict, he was then lifted into the air still frozen in primal fear and then along with him a couple of other people were thrown outside of the walls.

The cultivator after doing all of this said "Congrats on those who have passed the first part, Now… You shall have a moment of rest to recover before the next part begins…"
