Chapter 12 - - Senior -

"Now it's my turn!" She jumped up when she said this which grabbed his attention immediately because who the hell jumps in front of someone while they're thinking?

He looked at her a small smile played on his face, "Alright, If you wish to know so much I'm from a farmers family at Zhung Village." He really didn't care at all when giving this information out because it was entirely the truth and if she really did want to know his information, asking a few servants to search the loner Dai would always work.

She looked at him and then looked to the side sighing "If you really didn't want to tell me then just say so… No need to make up a lie about it…" She didn't believe him which was understandable.

"Why not just do a background check on me? I'm sure you and your family have the power to." He looked to the side at the people fighting on stage once more. His back had gotten better already after a few seconds of the conversation with her, which in itself was unusual but since he also got healed pretty quickly after any kind of injury since he was young he didn't mind it and straightened his back.

"You think I can just do random background checks on a boy without my parents knowing? That would be super weird!" She attempted to do a puppy dog eyes "Just tell me… please~" Her puppy dog eyes were super effective.

He scratched the back of his head and leaned away from her while saying "I already told you, I'm from Zhung Village a few days travel away from here." He did his best smile in order to look truthful.

She looked at him with her puppy dog eyes and stared at him for a few more seconds until she gave up completely, her arms drooping down her front and a massive sigh coming from her mouth and trailing into the air.

"Awwww…." She looked depressed for a moment before getting energy in the next moment saying "I swear that I'll make you tell me where you're from without using my connections!" She made a vow to herself.

She walked away while waving her hand back at him, the girl beside her not really happy about the entire conversation that Bing Ai just had with Zu Dai. She kept on clenching and unclenching her fist throughout the conversation. Dai was so sure that she was going to punch him suddenly that he tightened his grip on his cudgel a bit.

But the interaction with that girl was quite interesting to Dai, 'She acts like a younger version of Bo Jiang… except she's not clingy and hates me.' He whistled and placed his hands on the back of his head taking in the sun that shone on the courtyard.

After a few more matches, Zu Dai was assured of his win he didn't want to make another attempt of making someone angry or making someone fight him because he simply didn't want the people watching him to notice his actions to attract attention toward himself. He was already sure that he had a decent amount of attention on himself because of his background and his skill that simply didn't match up together which made him slightly worry if they might think he's a spy or something or just a genius.

Zu Dai's next battles were consistent with people surrendering to him, mostly because he was so skilled that no one else but Bing Ai could face him, which made the conversation about whether Bo Jiang could also defeat Zu Dai but they never met each other in the tournament style exam.

When the exam was over the huge doors behind them opened and the left courtyard door also opened, the elder who was a girl spoke "Those of you who have not met the required quota… Leave now." Her eyes were closed calmly appearing as if she was asleep when she spoke, but the alertness and vitality she had when she spoke affected most of the people here even though she talked slow.

'...There's way too many beauties in this sect.' With a closer inspection the brown haired woman had quite the seductive body with full lips and a mature face. Her skin also looked very very soft…

'Do i have a fetish for soft things?' Dai began to ponder for a moment before his thoughts were interrupted when the older elder spoke.

"Those who have passed enter the sect and your senior outer sect disciples will take you in and get you set up within the sect. After you are set up in the sect in a week a welcoming party will happen. You are only the first to enter the sect now many more will join you and then join you for that welcoming party." He seemed more collected and calmer during this part than he was at the beginning, maybe because of the introduction of the women elder cultivator?

People began to move before the girl elder raised her hand and said "Welcome to Blade Sect, new cultivators… some things Elder Kun has forgotten to mention. Is that your results that you had when you entered the exam will be posted on the main board…" She looked at the elder at the opposite side of the field with a calm smile filled with malicious intent, Elder Kun just stood there…

Zu Dai took note of the dynamic between the two and continued to walk forward into the sect where he spotted a line of senior outside disciples waiting for them to enter the sect, all of them wore sect robes which consisted of just green combined with their emblem of the sect on their back.

Zu Dai didn't immediately pick a person because he didn't have a reason to rush and pick someone at all, he wore a calm smile on his face when he walked forward until he felt a slight tug on his jacket. He turned to see a black haired beauty with an emotionless face looking straight at him, she looked slightly timid which completely contrasted against her body which wore the green clothes of an outer core disciple.

"Yes?" He looked into her eyes.

"I'm your senior. Come with me." She turned and then began to walk in a single direction.

Zu Dai didn't have any reason to not follow her, so he continued to follow her without any care.
