A half an hour passed and the duo were now sitting on the floor, Jia Li sat on her pillow facing Zu Dai who was also on his respective pillow sitting in a lotus stance. He looked at Jia Li with a smile that envied the sun and his constant bouncing of his foot made it clear that he was excited for this part of the little 'routine'.
Zu Dai's eagerness to learn more of cultivation was more similar to a primal urge for him, it didn't satisfy his gut nor did he gain a lot of power from listening to her lessons. He really did love learning even at a young age any chance that he would get to learn more he would do his best to value that time.
Jia Li noticed his love through a simple glance at his body language and began to ponder if she should increase this time period more but she promptly dismissed it and opened her mouth to deliver her lengthy speech on cultivation.
Zu Dai's love learning naturally meant a barrage of questions to come after each little talk that she delivered.
Jia Li 'looked' to be enjoying herself, she responded with lengthy explanations with each question that he asked that were clear and concise with a lot of her own beneficial observations that she herself learned through first hand experience.
By the end of the lesson it was time for Zu Dai to return back to his body training, they were going to hold off on the cultivation training until the end of the day. This was mostly because of the new information that Zu Dai had learned during Jia Li's lecture.
Zu Dai sorted through the information inside of his head, he was holding back his body cultivation momentarily until he found a better qi to cultivate his body with and he was not going to experiment with this while Jia Li was still watching him.
'I'm at Peak Of Rank 5 Qi Condensation... ' He repeated his rank in his mind and continued to cross examine what he had just learned.
He had just learned that when he passed over to rank 6 he would have to undergo a bottleneck in order to continue with his cultivation, otherwise he would be forced back down to rank 5 and lose some part of his foundation which Jia Li emphasized was important to cultivation which he also naturally agreed with.
Jia Li went on to explain how passing rank 6 breakthrough was easy and there were actual pills that people could use in order to pass the rank even quicker; however, the downside of using such pills was that it robbed some of the immense benefits of the breakthrough. Which included making your qi richer and even making the next breakthrough which occurred at rank 9 even harder.
After the lesson he asked her what her own rank was which she simply responded she was above rank 6. Then she continued on with her explanation where she promptly talked about the next stage of qi condensation which was foundation establishment, this is where the cultivation journey becomes longer.
Qi Condensation was simple reaching rank 9 puts you into another realm of cultivation however, in foundation establishment there are minor realms that each cultivator has to pass through with each minor realm having their own little bottlenecks that needed a breakthrough however these bottlenecks are recorded the most easiest to pass.
That was also when the discussion ended and she reported she will talk about the ranks some more another time, leaving Zu Dai on the pillow to sort the information while she got up and sat on the bed once more to watch him cultivate his body.
The entire process of cultivating his body was boring on the outside however, Zu Dai's mind raced with different experimenting methods that he might subject his body too in order to produce a different qi that would improve his body more.
He also loved the thought of breakthrough to rank 6 and becoming even stronger, Jia Li explained to him the difference between a rank 6 cultivator and a rank 5 cultivator which was the same as comparing a branch to a leaf.
You couldn't compare them together at all!
From that talk, Zu Dai had also realized an important difference between himself and quite frankly any older cultivator which had a little experience and knowledge. He was sure that he couldn't handle any other lower rank 3 through 5 rank cultivators because he didn't have any techniques.
He also doesn't even know how to control his qi; he could only rely on his little martial techniques that got easily bested by Bing Ai's cultivator martial arts.
He wanted to improve all of his fronts to become better, he wanted to improve his martial skills and see if he could develop a cultivator technique which to him seemed far from being able to happen right now.
He also wanted to improve his body cultivation technique which seemed impossible for him but he was going to try anyway.
He needed to do a lot of things and only had six days left to complete any of them.
