The world went into constant motion, rapid tides filled his vision making him feel dizzy. He felt awake but at the same time the tides that moved the world around him made him feel tired and sleepy.
The corner of his vision turned darker and began to phase in and out as if even his eyes were beginning to fill the darkness that touched vision. He attempted to resist the feeling but each time a splitting headache assaulted him and each failed attempt increased the speed of the darkness.
The slow increase of darkness sped up and engulfed his vision, he couldn't feel his body anymore. The ripples of the tide that still filled his vision even after the darkness fell on to him replaced those feelings with there's.
He felt as if his 'new' body was constantly moving, the darkness that engulfed his vision was cold and held no form of warmth within it. The constant ripples that made his new body was filled with little warmth only fit for an insect.
He felt as if his 'new' body was going to break apart at any moment, the darkness that engulfed his vision could hold nothing belonging to him and threatened to leave at any moment. The ripples forced the darkness to stay and brung its little warmth to the front.
The darkness that was leaving stayed and began to attack his 'new' body. He felt as if he was being violently shaken and the constant motion made him even more dizier. The headache increased and he felt himself losing control of his mind.
He heard a shout from within only to realize he couldn't speak anymore and only his thoughts could 'vocalize' his thoughts. The feeling of mortality began to dawn on him 'Am I going to die?'.
He felt the cold darkness engulf his new body shattering it, he then felt it begin to circle around and begin to crowd around him the actual him it swirled above him and then he felt a powerful urge to reach out.
The darkness surrounded him on all sides, he reached out and he felt a power enter his non-existent palm he felt the power travel through the palm and fill his body. The darkness at the same moment engulfed him and was resisted by his new found power inside of him.
Zu Dai should've been happy at the sudden resolution but he couldn't feel happy at all, he felt a sudden urge for more power fill him up his body screamed with greed and he felt as if he wanted more and needed more.
His mind started to cloud over he didn't understand why his mind felt like this and nor did he care. He clenched his fist and allowed the darkness to surge around him like a blanket.
He then reached his hand out and gripped hard onto the darkness, he expected to feel something gas like or something else but it felt physical like a hard rock. He pulled the darkness down and toward his greedy body that absorbed it inside of itself.
The feeling of hunger and the strive for power faded as fast as it came, the darkness nurtured his body and he felt his dantain lengthen and his qi become even denser and richer. He touched his lower gut where his dantain was located and no longer felt as if the greed that resided there was still there
He instead felt it all around him as if a second skin, he instinctively touched his face and rested his palm on it. He felt tired from the ordeal and only wanted to sleep.
However, he wanted to observe his dantain a little longer before falling back into a nighty abyss classified as the dream world. He opened his separate hand and looked at it carefully before pulling it closer toward his face for a better look.
His hand looked translucent yet it was solid like glass. He rubbed his thumb against his finger and found that it felt normal and didn't feel anything like gas at all.
'What in the world is this? Is this my skin or is it something different?' He reached a conclusion shortly after that the material that made his body was what he benefited from during the short crisis he experienced and that the material was able to mimic his skin and normal life.
Still looking at his transusclenet palm, he peered through it and saw that the waves of qi down bellow had fully turned hard he looked at the little desolate plain that he created and attempted to absorb qi into his dantain.
He saw a gas enter his dantain which turned into water and then began to crystalize turning into drops of solid that fell down into the dantain, he reached his hand out and attempted to pull the qi only using his mind to his palm.
The qi silently obeyed and a tiny solid piece of the qi in the desolate plain moved upward and toward him, it had a metallic glint to it making it look more like a blade than anything else he thought back to Jia Li's words about his cultivation method and nodded.
'The Qi really does get affected based on the cultivation method…The elder that i saw at the bridge i didn't feel a sharpness from him i felt something similar to a rainy day.' He thought back to his previous experiences with people with qi. The only person he could currently relate qi back to was the elders and each of them had very different qi.
The tiny bit of solid qi finally reached him and hovered gently above his palm. He tapped the solid with his finger attempting to see if he could turn the qi into something else.
The qi resisted his touch and then shot toward his chest pushing him back and furthermore up into the air. His translucent skin was able to stop the qi from piercing him but he felt the power behind the blow he coughed expecting to spit up blood but saw a gas leave his mouth before shooting into the sky.
He looked at his chest and saw the glass like skin have a crack adorn it. He moved his hand toward the crack almost absent mindedly before feeling a sharp pain touch his chest.
