Chapter 13 - - Senior -

Disciples of the opposing gender of Zu Dai's Senior who had 'carefully' selected him to be her roommate was eyeing Zu Dai with envy with a hint of amazement, The reaction caused Zu Dai to seriously doubt his choice of senior's but it's not like he could stop following her and pick another senior disciple.

He didn't want trouble with any other people on his first day into the sect. If everything goes well he will have a nice place to stay in and probably become a nice cultivator with a nice life within the sect. That is the goal of everyone, humans after all, live a nice fulfilling life with minor troubles in your way.

He nodded to himself as he continued to follow the seductive senior outer court disciple. Her hips seemed to sway from side to side when she walked forward and her curvy breasts and ass jiggled with each step she took. She really was a very attractive woman.

Zu Dai could sense someone looking at him and looked up to find that the girl was watching him watch her with an emotionless expression, he immediately stopped ogling her body without attempting to explain himself because why would he? He got caught.

But that didn't stop the red blush spreading onto his cheeks by being caught by her. The two continued to walk without any other incident which gave Zu Dai the incentive to look around the sect. He saw a variety of other disciples who all donned the green robes with only a few exceptions which he only saw one or two out of hundreds who wore blue robes.

He also found that Bo Jiang was quickly scouted by a boy and girl pair, who he assumed were best friends and the inclusion of Bo Jiang only strengthened their friendship. It was quite easy to find Bo Jiang because she was a head taller than most girls.

Most of the seniors here were walking in the same direction leading their respective juniors. The senior in front of Zu Dai stopped and looked to the side where all the other seniors were gathering and stretched out her hand to the side and spoke "What's your name again?"

'You never asked-'

Zu Dai stopped the thought immediately and responded "Zu Dai." He also began to trace her hand where it was pointing at and spotted a large group of seniors who were looking at the board. He also saw how some seniors arrived with their juniors and pointed at the board the same way his senior did but were a lot more interactive with them…

He looked at the board top and found his name was in the top thirty or more exactly he was ranked at twenty five with a fire aptitude and a B grade potential. 'What does that mean?' He instinctively looked back toward his senior who was just staring at him; it wasn't creepy nor was it rude. It looked like she was waiting for orders.

"Senior? What's your name?" He was being very respectful when talking toward her which seemed to make her take a step back.

"Jia Li." She kept her answer short and brisk, without any added flare or other introductions.

Seeing that he could most likely get information out of her he started questioning her "Why did you pick me?" He talked to her without reserve for formality mostly because he was sure that she didn't care for it by the way she acted so far.

"I walked up to the first person I saw." Once again, her answer was concise and emotionless. He shrugged and began to ask her question after questions about herself because she was an interesting personality…

The conversation turned quickly dull and awkward because his questions were met with a clear answer each time but because her answers were so clear he got a very accurate depictions of who he was talking with, she didn't give him highly personal anecdotes nor did she reveal anything about her level of power other than she is within the top fifty outer core disciples currently which in itself is an achievement.

But that's how much information he got from her, through talking.

After the conversation ended Li turned around and said "Let's go."

Jia Li walked around the sect and then stopped at a large building with two large men standing at the front of the door, they wore armor and the spiritual pressure they exuded was great indicating that they were very powerful.

Jia Li walked up to the people and bowed, the first guard pulled out a book from nowhere which surprised Zu Dai who was in the street looking at this event with great interest he wanted to ask where the book came from but he didn't dare to do it seeing how his senior talked to them.

Jia Li left the building and said "Come on." He didn't question her nor did he really need to immediately question her at the moment so he continued following her all around the sect. Where during the journey he asked what that place was where she simply responded with "Library."

She continued her little 'tour' of the sect the only time she talked was to tell him what the place was and what it was meant for, she didn't add unnecessary words and her explanations were very clear to understand.

By the end of the tour he knew what the three tall towers he saw in the distance were, they were the Blade Hall, Main Hall, and also Spirit hall. Spirit hall consisted of talisman teachings and also alchemy teachings and array teachings. Blade Hall consisted of Forge teachings and also worked on how to fight. A disciple could choose any of these teachings to be taught in and as a result they got… better.

Main Hall however consisted of all the sect's treasures and secrets which also contained where disciples could get missions and the Patriarch of the sect.

After that lengthy explanation she began to walk into the housing district which were all relatively the same size and also they looked the same with some added modifications that Zu Dai guessed were people's own little additions to the sect. As they went down the housing district got better and better and he could see way down something better.

But most of the people he saw were green clothes so he naturally assumed that this was a housing place for outer core disciples. Dai and Li continued walking for some more time, when they walked even though they never talked it seemed to never be silent as Dai kept on ogling Li's body as they walked and he tried to keep resisting but his eyes kept laying back on her body.

Li stopped abruptly making Dai fear that she had noticed again and had gotten angry, he was about to open his mouth to say sorry when she spoke "This is where we live."

'Oh… she's not angry… wait we?' He looked at the house she stopped in front of and saw first its small courtyard which led up to the house. The same as all other houses here.
