BRRIINNNNGGGGG...
"Hello." Miss Wade placed her phone close to her ears.
Her voice like that of someone who is troubled and frustrated because the way she pronounced her "hello" gave it all away.
"Neil..... Where are you?." She spoke with relief. "You've got me worried... How are you guys holding up?"
"We are doing great.. Got the package." Neil spoke. "Just being held up by high leveled gifted and we will be needing a backup... A wide-long ranged gifted."
"Give me your location.." Miss Wade spoke as she drew close to her computer.
"I can't say for sure..." Neil spoke.
"How am I going send backup to you then?" Miss Wade asked confused.
"My location is turned on..." Neil spoke. "You can track me with that."
"Good call... Am on it now." Miss Wade smiled. "Backup's on the way."
Miss Wade dropped her phone from her ears as the call came to an end, she suddenly felt high spirited knowing that Kai had been rescued and Her greatest joy was that the kids are alive... Seemed they are stubborn and sole survivors who can't be broken. But the foundation to this stubbornness was something she tried to figure out. She quickly clicked some buttons on her phone and she dropped the phone on the table for she was done with what she was typing and she waited anxiously for a feedback. Her phone beeped and she retrieved it to see what it was, a smile of joy crept her face as she saw a message which stated "ON IT". Prof. Hiro may have found out that the kids are missing too but it doesn't matter as long as they came back safe and sound... That would be all that mattered and nothing else would, not even Kai would have mattered because his father has refused to rescue his own son from harms way.
She swayed in her chair as it rotated in three-sixty with her arms in the air as she stretched, only then she began to feel the cold breeze from the air condition in the office. She don't understand this feeling she having now but she think it's her being carefree and relaxed on the issue at hand. She only hoped that she didn't make a mistake at selecting the backup.

.
"Watch out Sandy." Neil yelled.
Sandy still remained sober over his phone that had been destroyed. He seemed to be out of the battle ground and on a grave side weeping over a precious gem that was stolen, his consciousness came back when he suddenly felt a switch around where he was.
BOOM.... A scorch was heading his way but he was taken away from that particular position and it seemed the scorch swayed towards his position for it wasn't for him. He just felt so or maybe not, whatever it may be he doesn't care. He suddenly felt his blood boiling as andrenaline flowed through his veins. Now he's pissed at them... Them..... Those abductors are going to pay for destroying his phone. It suddenly hit him... The perfect wide ranged attack he was supposed to have finished few minutes ago and now this new idea would be taking another twenty-five minutes tops.... Now that's a serious drag and he got even more pissed off at the whole situation.
"Can't you just be yourself for once and focus." He heard the angry voice yelling... It seemed he has been talking for a while now but his thought has kept his ears off the track.
"Huh." Was the reply.
"Seriously... You haven't been listening to me the whole time?" Ned barked.
"Nope... I was deep in thoughts." Sandy shrugged.
"It seemed your....." Ned barked again.
"If it is a grammar you're about to spill out of your mouth... You better shut it." Sandy warned looking serious.
Silence
"Get your head in the game." Ned barked and returned to his fight.
"Hey... There isn't no game here..." Sandy barked. "What's up with that guy?"
Sandy directed his stare towards Neil who scoffed at their little argument which always seemed to entice him a lot... Now that disgust Sandy a lot because he saw nothing to laugh at and sometimes he just wish he could strangle this golden headed fish friend of his. But he's just too cute to die of strangling so it would be better if he's beheaded, only if he doesn't hop around like he always does.
"So what did Miss Wade say." Clint asked as he retreated to take a breathing exercise.
"She said we have nothing to fear..." Neil spoke. "Hope you know what I mean?" He telepaths the last message.
"Roger.." Clint smirked.
"I don't get what that mean..." Sandy barked. "Make it simple for me to understand."
"Just stay calm and do your thing Sandy." Ned barked.
"I hate you..." Sandy yelled.
"The feelings mutual." Ned retorted
"What does that mean now.?" Sandy barked. "Neil help me out with it."
"Am I a translator?" Neil asked.
"Kinda." Sandy replied
"Seriously?" Neil thought.
Clint had been attacking the solidizer for a while now whom had refused to attack but just takes a step or two closer to Clint, he has think fast before this guy solidize him and that would be bad for his reputation... Except Jayden in the entire school who only got his beauty because he's twin could be a match to him. And if he is solidize him into a strong-fleshed human and that would definitely ruin his reputation. Guess he has to use his ultimate attack and he just hoped his body is up to the task.
BEEP...BEEP....
Sandy's phone which was in Neil's custody rang notifying him that a message has just arrived. He checked what it was all about and who would be sending it... Thought the number was private.... Seriously weird. But the text was "CLEAR A PATH FOR ME."
No name
"So would this be...." Neil thought. "But there seemed to be a threat in it..."
Neil looked at his colleagues to see they were getting tired and the bleeding is already taking a toll on them.
"Ned.... Do me favour." Neil telepaths.
"Am listening." Ned answered.
"Retreat now... I sense our back up is close." Neil telepaths again.
"How did you know?" Ned asked.
"I will explain later." Neil telepaths. Although he knows
"Roger..." Ned smirked.
Clint crossed his arm a little above his head, eyes closed in meditation meanwhile he's body was shielded by a large wooden door that wasn't dried up when touched by solidizer.
"Clint...." He heard a voice in his head.
"Who's this?" He asked.
"It's Neil...." The voice replied.
"Not now mate." Clint rolled his eyes.
"You have to retreat now." Neil telepaths.
"Not yet... Am just getting warmed up." Clint shot a nasty look at Neil.
"Trust me... You don't wanna do that." Neil warned.
"Why do you say so?" Clint asked.
"I will explain later.... Just retreat." Neil telepath.
"No way.... Not when am close to doing what I have in mind." Clint refused. "Besides I will never get to see this opportunity again."
Neil not knowing what to say to Clint to back off the fight decided to use his comrades around him, he turned in search looked over to see Sandy... Still sulking.
Nice.
And Ned is backing out from scorches attacks with his shape-shield, Kai was closer to him fending off a clone whom seem to attach itself to him. And Clint still stubborn over the fight although he knows he's at a disadvantage. He's still not giving up the fight.... and Neil on the other hand seemed to feel his strength returning, enough to trigger his ultimate powers; and that would be his eyes. That is if it was really his ultimate powers. Neil's eyes became active again, His vision has becomes three-sixty degrees and he saw everyone without turning his head. He suddenly felt a pulse run through his head like an information is being transfered to him.... And it was a warning pulse for him to evacuate his colleagues out of the battle ground. He had an hypothesy in his mind and decided to try it out now to see if it was possible. He wants to test if his telepathy can expand amongst those he wish to.
"Hey guys.... Can you all hear me?" Neil telepaths.
"What are you doing in my head?" Sandy yelled.
"Clearly.." Ned replied.
"Not again... What now.?" Clint grunt.
"Voice in my head again." Kai complained. "What do you want now?"
"You all should get prepared...." Neil telepaths. "Something big is coming... We all need to take cover."
"But there is no place to take cover." Clint complained. "What's do we do."
"Ned how strong is your shield.?" Sandy asked.
"Strong.... But can't say how long I can make it last." Ned replied.
"Ned... Just create it." Neil telepaths. "I have something in mind."
"Alright then." Ned replied.
Ned spinned his hand in the air creating a semi-circular glowing barrier, expanding it's yards to be able to accommodate his colleagues. Neil used his substitution gift to transport his comrades into the barrier Ned made, the Brown haired abductor ran towards the barrier and tried to penetrate it with his scorch.... But it was prevented from penetrating and the impact pushed him back to the ground sending dust into the air. The other abductors helped him to his feet.
"That barrier will never stop me." He yelled and threw scorches at the barrier.
The motion continued without stoppage.
"Umm... Neil." Sandy asked. "What's the big thing that's coming?"
"We have company...." The gray hair spoke. "someone very powerful is heading over here now."
"Delia....." Neil whispered.
Mr gray turned around and began to scan the environment in search of what he sensed earlier for the aura was great and cold at the same time... For he has only seen this type of auras before and they are either hot or vague but cold... This was the first of it's kind he has sensed.
Something vague was heading towards them in slow motion like it was in a beauty Padgett.. A scarf seemed to be free at the end of the neck and it flew in the direction of the wind.
"Who would that be.....?" He wonders.
"It's a girl..." Mr red hair spoke as he noticed a girl coming their way.
"Who's she?" Mr rockstar added.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaat....." Sandy yelled.
"Look who decided to come and play." Clint smiled. "I guess I have to let my worries fly."
"Who's that?" Kai asked.
"Well...." Ned spoke. "That is our daredevil.."
"Boys.... " Neil smiled. "Calvary has arrived."
The abductors stared at Delia as she walked closer to them with the same blank expression on her face, she walked few meters close to them and stopped. Staring squarely at the abductors from the first to last and back to the first, her gaze suddenly fell on Neil and Sandy. She shook her head and sighed.
"Shouldn't we help her.?" Kai asked.
"No need.." Ned smirked.
"Huh." Kai looked confused.
"She can handle them herself..." Clint added. "Besides she's lone wolf."
"Am not a big fan of waiting..." Delia spoke softly, barely heard actually. "So let's get this over with."
"Huh..." Mr rockstar blanted. "What did she say.?"
"She said you guys are idiots." Clint howled.
"What...." The abductors yelled.
"You're about to get pretty hurt little girl." Mr red groaned.
The entire abductors dashed towards Delia who maintained her usual blank expression. Her eye brows suddenly narrowed.
