"What?" I look at her confused, "dance?" I watched as her cheeks were a light pink, "Yeah, I have missed you, and I think dancing would be fun, and" She started rambling, how cute. "Okay, Love, What do you want to dance to?" I got up from my piano, walking over to Ryuko. It was the first time I allowed my heart to flutter without disgust. "I wrote a song, I can sing it while we dance" She smiled, "can I hear a little of it first?"
"I left my bass in the car so it will only be my voice" she rubbed the back of her head. "That's fine, start when you're ready" I sat back down. I watched her eyes close, and breath softly. "Slow dance with you, I just wanna slow dance with you" I felt my heart dance with her voice, "I know all the other girls are tough and smooth, and I got the blues" I couldn't help myself, I went over to her, taking her hand. She opened her eyes, blush covering her face. "I wanna slow dance with you" I placed my hands on her hips, as she placed her hands around my neck. "I wanna slow dance with you" I mummed the song softly as we slowly danced. I stared into her eyes, blushing. I wanted to kiss her so bad, but am I allowed? Can I get that close? Will I be hurt? " Why don't you take the chance? I've got the moves and I would like to prove" Hearing that came out of her mouth, I almost kissed her but stopped, I couldn't take the chance no matter how much I wanted to. I was so lost in thought I didn't even notice the song was over. I watched Ryuko smile sweetly as she cupped my cheeks, "Your a great dancer, sunshine"
"So are you, Dumpling" She soon hugged me, "I'm gonna miss you, a lot" She said softly "What do you mean?" I didn't understand "I'm leaving for college, tomorrow" She frowned, "This is the last day we get to see each other" I remember cupping her cheek, gently rubbing it with my thumb. I told Chole, It's been a few years since the last time we saw Ryuko. "At least yours goodbye was cute, mine was just a hug and goodbye" She rolled her eyes, "It's not that bad, at least she doesn't hate you" I leaned back in my chair. "Yeah, Yeah, Where do you think she is now?" Chloe mummed, "Well, I have no idea now, she stopped texting me a year ago" Saying that hurt, we texted everyday, and one day she never texted back. "What was the last thing she said?" "The last thing she texted me was about how she missed having free time" Chole let out a groan "Helpful" I looked down at my phone, "Ah, shit I'm late"
"Oh it's already time to go back"
"Yeah" Me and Chole grabbed our stuff, running off to class. I couldn't help but wish to meet her again.
