The main character looked at the coin with apprehension. He turned to the left and to the right as if to check if nothing else had gone wrong, but everything was normal. He waved his hand over the coin just in case anything strange happened but again every thing was normal. Picking it up, he examined the coin for any irregularities.
'Besides it feeling warm to the touch, nothing out of the ordinary...'
He held the coin as he continued thinking, 'The temporal rune broke down due to instability in the array formation. Ah fuck I think I should have included the space rune together with the temporal rune, that way those two could have stabilized each other allowing the array to draw its power from them.
But instead, it drew its power from me. Meaning, due to the absence of the temporal rune, the array was forced to get time from another source... I was that source... For fucks sake, how many years has it taken off my lifespan??? Wait, considering the complexity of the task it shouldn't be more than three years... But still that three years off my life! FUCK!
Ah, forget it... All that matters now is that I have the damn coin.'
Thinking up to here, the teen had to carefully think of the array diagram he had to create. Pondering over all the requirements and unforeseen possibilities. He sat cross-legged with one of his arms crossed and the other stroking his chin.
'Well okay, firstly I need to remember what the correct array formation is...'
Considering all the possible array formations he shook his head, but in the midst of all those options, he remembered a certain array formation. It was an array formation used for probability calculation and model testing.
'I mean theoretically speaking it works but theory will take you so far...'
With that, he squeezed his thumb drawing out blood with which he started drawing the array formation. It was a large diagram with three integral parts, one was the formation itself, the second was a smaller array that acted as a power source, and the third was an input array.
After finally drawing the complete formation, he added the power source but was a bit torn on what he should use as an input array. There were around eleven different arrays he suspected to be the one he needed but he wasn't sure which was which. Although he had solved the safety issue, he still had to waste a considerable amount of time on each of the eleven arrays... checking their function.
'I'm pretty sure the formation I need is one of these eleven, but I don't know which one it is. Considering my luck I don't think I'll find the right one within the first few tries... Wait, isn't that a simple fix too?? If my luck is the problem then I'll have to increase my luck, I'm sure there are one or two arrays that increase luck...'
Combing through his memory he did indeed find a formation that increased his luck, albeit temporarily it would still get the job done. Thinking up to here, he slowly started drawing a complex array diagram. Many times he would rest as he would get lightheaded from all the blood loss. Finally finishing the array, he let out a relieved sigh as he saw the array glow with a mystical golden color. He raised his right arm before pushing back his sleeve, exposing his arm entirely.
He watched the array in front of him with expectation before he slowly pushed his exposed arm through it. As he did, the array became smaller and smaller as golden runes started appearing all across his hand. By the time he had pushed his whole arm through the array, it had disappeared, only leaving behind the golden runes on his arm.
Looking at his arm he let out a wicked smile as he thought of universal domination!

[Reader]: My guy, take a breather... I think this single win after all those fails is going to your head.
[BOB.C]: Shut your filthy mouth human, you know nothing of winning! You know nothing of winning! You know nothing of standing at the pinnacle of existence! This is only a step, a step onto the road to greatness!!!
[Reader]: I feel like you're being delusional, but at the same time I know you're being serious. But again, calm down.
[BOB.C]: Damn right I'm being serious! I'm going to reclaim my former glory after all...
[Reader]: ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... You just want to clear your creation history huh
[BOB.C]: You have no idea....*light sobs could be heard*

The teen looked at his arm as he calmed down, 'Although I don't want to admit it, the [Reader] is right. I can't let this minor advance cloud me from my primary goal.'
With that, he took the coin and tossed it into the air. He closed his eyes as he said, 'Heads'. As soon as he said that he opened his eyes and caught the coin. Unfurling his fingers, he revealed the coin with the circle indentation facing upwards.
'Wait, I haven't assigned heads or tails yet... okay, circles is heads and lines is tails.'
Again, he tossed the coin as he thought, 'Heads'. Catching the coin with his hands he extended his fingers to reveal the coin with the circle indentation facing upwards. Seeing this, his eye lit up. 'It works!!!!'
He then wrote down all the numbers from one to eleven, mentally assigning each number to a different array formation. He wrote them in a circle with around half a feet between them. He then stood in the center and extended his right arm towards the number one. He took a deep breath then he started to spin about his position. After a while, he stopped and quickly checked the number he was pointing at.
'Six is it!' he then lost balance and fell on his arse. He grabbed his head as he groaned due to the dizziness. After reclaiming his bearings, he returned to the large array formation and began to draw the required array diagram. He bearly managed to finish it due to the dizziness and the lightheadedness he had been feeling. He placed the coin in the center of the array he had just drawn and just as he did, the whole formation lit up, covering the entirety of the room with a majestic blue glow as it began to run... run a virtual simulation that is.
The simulation displayed what the array the MC had put in last would accomplish. The array lit up and countless chains appeared covering the coin. The array lit up even more and for a while, nothing happened, but the main character knew that it was just doing what it was supposed to do. He patiently waited for the effects to be apparent and after a full hour was when that happened. A small crack appeared on one of the links. It spread as a small fragment of the chain broke off and disappeared into bright oblivion.
Similar occurrences continued to happen and before another hour was up, the entirety of the chains covering the coin had disintegrated into nothing. Then the MC appeared before he picked up the coin and tossed it into the air. catching the coming in the air, he revealed it to have landed with the line indentation facing upwards. The moment he saw that the coin flashed with a golden light, and in its place appeared a two-meter golden stick. The main character seeing this was excited as he let out a 'Yoooohooooo'.
Of course, all that wasn't the full duration of the simulation as the main character had skipped till the end of the simulation only wanting to see the results.
'So it worked!!! Now I just need to add a catalyst rune before activating the array formation.'
As soon as he said that, the formation disappeared only leaving behind the required array... i.e. array number six. He then added another rune to the diagram before placing the coin in the center and running the array. He crossed his fingers as the array started running successfully, only this time it didn't take a whole hour to see results. By minute twenty, the last fragment had disintegrated leaving behind the coin. The array also disappeared with it as it had finally accomplished its task.
The main character picked up the coin and felt that it had somehow gotten lighter. He then let out a breath and tossed it into the air, watching it reach its peak height, he caught waited a moment before catching the coin. He released his grip revealing the coin's face had a circular indentation on it.
As soon as he saw it, the coin exploded with light, and in its place, there was a fully grown donkey with a small golden bell supported by a red ribbon around its neck.
